I can't speak for every employee but Erica really left her mark (with tint) on my face... I used to tint my own brows and it never turned out this horrible. The wax job itself was fine - she mapped out my face and left what she think I needed to grow out but it still looked messy once I scrubbed the tint off, which hurt considering it wasn't easy to remove. Let's just say I left not being able to look anyone in the eyes. How embarrassing! On a plus side, the inside of this business is very well taken care of and decorated nicely. As for leaving happy with the service, this was a bad experience for me and the $69 I lost.

But I have had my eyelashes done countless times in the past, and my experience was never this uncomfortable. Towards the middle-end of the session, I noticed she was touching the middle of my right eye a lot and it started to hurt, but I didn't want to say anything since I assumed she knew what she was doing. Afterwards, my eye stung but it was nothing crazy so I attributed that to my eye having a minor reaction to the glue (and I have sensitive eyes as it is). Fast forward to later last night and my right eyelid is throbbing with pain and the bottom of my eye is really red. I woke up this morning with worse pain and my eye was more red. On top of that, I have a bad headache on the right side of my head. The reason I haven't called is because I'm currently about to board a cruise ship to Mexico, and I feel like there's nothing I can do. So here I am, writing this review. They also made me sign something before I got my lashes done that I didn't read, but looking back I wish I did read it because I'm in so much pain, and I'm not looking forward to starting my vacation this way. I typically fill in my brows daily but decided to get them microbladed. Right as my appointment that I wanted like a month for was coming, I came down with covid and Katie was SO flexible and kind on rescheduling. She is clearly a boss so she books up pretty quickly so I had to wait another month for her services. She color matched my brows PERFECTLY and got the shape spot on. Like I said, I already had decent shape but she made them look so defined. I'm not going to lie the healing was quite annoying. You can't get them wet, sweat etc and with the Louisiana heat, it was very hard not to sweat. If I decide to do microblading again I am definitely going to get it done in the winter so I don't need to stress every time I go outside. The scary part about microblading is after the scabs fall off they lighten a lot & then darken back up. Katie eased my anxiety and they looked nice after the first session. I went back for my perfecting session 6 weeks later & they are just about healed now. The healing process was also a lot easier the second time around. I am happy with my results and would recommend Katie to anyone, especially redheads!

Response time was quick and Katie was really flexible in accommodating me (I contacted her for a next day appointment during probably the busiest time of year in New Orleans - Mardi Gras). She squeezed me in for the next day and gave me detailed address info so that I wouldn't have any problems finding the place. She even texted me the day of the appointment when an earlier appointment slot became available, which I happily took. When I got there, she got started with me right away (despite me interrupting her break because I was a little early, sorry Katie!). She was very gentle and I didn't experience any discomfort. When I finally was done and looked at my eyes, they weren't red or irritated, something I'd noticed in pics in reviews for other places. And, my lashes were BEAUTIFUL! I got a new full classic set. The whole process took about 2 hours and the lashes lasted for weeks. Katie did an amazing job, plus she's super sweet with awesome customer service. 100% recommend.

When I spend my hard earned money, I don't like being slammed with cancelation fees, deposits, etc. and being told that my appointment will not be scheduled unless/until I sign off on their frivolous rules. My money spends anywhere. The people at Glow act like they're doing you a favor when actually you're the client and they're providing you with a service. Hair is not rocket science!
