After visiting three times with my girlfriend I'm a believer in this place, their staff is nice and helpful and animals seem to be of quality. They have had some really cute puppies here, and their prices are very good for a retail shop. They allow you to play with the puppies and get accustomed to them, which is critical in figuring out if the dog is right for you. Their setup is secure but laid back, it's very nice. They seem to have a vested interest in the animals which I appreciate because as a seller you have to find the balance. I'm impressed and we were so close to pulling a trigger on a beautiful puppy but will wait until she graduates from college at James Madison University. Don't just take my word for it though, go check it out yourself!

The treatment of these poor puppies not even a few months old, is absolutely disgusting. The dogs are matted in their own vomit, pee, and feces. I watched a month old Dachshund puppy fall through the grates and have to attempt to get free. If the owner had to suffer through the repulsive nature that these animals are going through I'm sure he or she would view things a lot differently.

I've seen places offer towels, brushes, scrubbers, 10+ shampoo options, conditioners, nail clippers, grooming scissors, and had folks working there just to help and monitor the tubs specifically - all for $19. While their set up is decent - $20 is an insane price for a single use. No towels, 4 shampoo options, a handful of brushes, and the two tubs with dryers. I'd recommend going to Tractor Supply in Waynesboro for $10 with essentially the same set up for half the cost. The most I'd pay for their set up would be $15 just because the equipment is nicer.

I've picked him up from groomers still wet. I was able to take extra time so that he left dry! It was such a relief as he gets hot spots when not fully dried. It's the first time he's been groomed and not spent the rest of the day itchy.

The team genuinely cares about helping set your dog up for success so they are not only comfortable with grooming but also enjoy it. They are experts at what they do and it shows through their work and how excited our girl is always is to see them. After lots of livings, she happily trots inside. She also always looks like the same dog when she comes out, which isn't always the case with some groomers. We were fortunate enough to find them when our girl was a puppy so they've been working with her through their puppy package. She has fear aversion with her nails and bath from the breeder. They've been working with June to desensitize her and build positive associations with these and after only a few sessions, we've seen great improvement. You'll never have to worry if your pet is being cared the way you would want when they are at Kaiser.
