Oh my, how are health Care system has completely and utterly failed. If you want a lot of details…read moreabout my experience at this location check out Google reviews, unfortunately Yelp doesn't leave enough room here for me to share just how I've been treated but I can summarize it pretty easily because Affordable Marijuana License is a liar. And here are some receipts. To summarize, I am a patient here. I had an appointment 3 weeks ago in which there was an error that affected the ability for my medication to be dispensed. I contacted AML immediately and instead of correcting the issue they jerked me around and then insisted that I needed to call and then when I called no one was available to help me and in fact they are still not available to help me even after they are fully aware that there's a problem. However, it gets even worse. I don't know who this individual is but whoever is representing themselves as the Affordable Marijuana License OWNER reply to my Google review that they had tried calling me at least five times and try to make it sound like I was the one that was, in fact, difficult to get a hold of even though I had been trying to contact them during their normal business hours and nobody was ever available to help when I called. So, all of this is going to come into crystal clear when you find out that this is a medical office who has completed abandoned the Hypocratic Oath. Do no harm? No, the staff at this office must have regular meetings where they're chanting, harm! harm! harm! harm! So, I share my honest review and in response this medical practice decided to completely lie publicly in an attempt to dishonestly shift The narrative and disparage me, the patient who they have already worked so hard to victimize. So, even though the owner is clearly not available to call me, they are available to publish lies online about their patients without any regard for the damage that it causes. So, they said that they called me at least five times. Attached here is a copy of my entire unedited log for that day, this past Friday, when I first called their location starting immediately when they opened at 8:00 a.m. and then three additional times because the operator was rude and had hung up on me. The operator also told me that no one would be available to call me back until this week and I told her that was unacceptable but I did hear what she was saying. So, it's very safe to say that I should not have been expecting any calls from AML on Friday because they told me that they would not be calling until this week. But, since AML claimed that they called me five times I wanted to look because I was aware that I had missed two private number calls on Friday morning and that's because my phone sends them automatically to voicemail. What didn't happen is whoever called me, if it was from AML, they were not professional enough to leave a voicemail so there is no way for me to confirm that they called me at all but at most they called me twice. Online, they chose to lie and say that they called me five times. So, deceptive medical practice that apparently has lost touch with the Hippocratic Oath or it's just no longer even a thing and I'm a dinosaur which is also true. Either way, why would a medical practice work so hard to not have any staff available to help patients during normal business hours? But now they gaslight...it's my fault. Liars gonna lie.

Florida's medical marijuana program begins with Compassionate Alternative Care. As beneficial as…read morethe registry is, the state underperforms in informing potential patients of the process and making the process comfortable. I am fortunate to have navigated the process successfully, and I have witnessed the difference between other statewide operations and Compassionate Alternative Care. When I first certified with another physician group last year, I had to call and email them multiple times for each step of the process: confirmation of medical records receipt, confirmation of appointment, confirmation of payment, and confirmation of addition to the state registry. In addition, I had to call multiple times for various questions with an average turnaround time of 4 days. Enter Compassionate Alternative Care. The owner, Daniel, is not only the owner but also a patient, so he understands how impersonal and confusing the process can be. Even though more than 70 percent of voters approved the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes, we as a society still perpetuate stigmas. Daniel shines because he adds the human element--with an affable, welcoming touch--to the process. He is accessible through email, voice, and text, and he avails himself to the extent each patient requires him. Daniel is quick to answer questions and assuage fears. He does not rush patients into making decisions; instead, he provides as much information so that patients can make their own informed decisions. You can tell the level of dedication to both his patients and the state for compliance. Once Daniel and the patient reach the conclusion that it is time to be evaluated for a recommendation, the patient then sees a certified doctor. The doctor streamlines the process so that patients are not left to wait unnecessarily. The doctor is attuned to the program's requirements and does the magic doctors do. "Compassionate" is more than the first word of this practice's name. It serves as the foundational value of the owner, the doctors, and, ultimately, the patients.

I went to see Dan recently at Compassionate Alternative Care because the pain management center…read morethat was currently handling my MMJ card had decided not to work with patients that were seeking to add the smokable marijuana to the prescription. I was really taken aback by their decision to not do what was in the best interest of their patients. I had been a patient there long before medical cannabis became a treatment option in Florida and have spent thousands of $$$ on different treatments for my chronic back issues. It was disturbing to me that my old physician's office would not even consider it on a case by case basis, after all that is what was the intent. To provide a route of administration that would work best for the patient's needs. Once I contacted Dan at Compassionate Alternative Care he immediately understood my perspective and told me that he'd be happy to take over managing my MMJ card. The process was quick and Dan was really helpful and responsive when it came to getting me in to see the doctor quickly and making sure I had exactly what I needed. I like the fact that I can contact Dan directly on his mobile phone if there is something I need in relation to my pain management. That was always a struggle at my previous pain management facility. Contacting the doctor there meant a series of phone calls and voicemails, followed by more of the same until finally they were able to confirm to me any needed changes. All in all I am very happy I contacted Dan @ Compassionate. I have already recommended several others to him and they have had the same experience I did there. Thanks again Dan!!

The process to renew my prescription with Dr. Wolff at and to transfer…read more from my former provider to 420 Doctor was amazingly very simple, easy and quick. We utilized the Doxy.me platform to do the interview which was an entirely new experience for me; however, it will be my preferred method for conducting any medical appointments that I can in the future. Sooo very efficient! Behind the scenes, the day before my appointment, Dr. Wolff's extremely knowledgeable assistant, "Jack," handled making the preparations, answered my many, many (probably tedious) questions and made all of the arrangements For my meeting with the doctor. Jack was so skillful at giving spot-on instructions and helpful in directing me to the additional resources for information available online from the State that by the time for me to meet with Dr. Wolff there were actually no surprises at all. I was a bit anxious but Jack was so kind and reassuring that he made the whole process a breeze. After my interview with Dr. Wolff, I texted Jack and he arranged for a staff member to contact me to guide me through the remaining steps of my certification, arranging my prescription, and collection of the remaining fees - there was not much left to do because I had fortunately been able to purchase a Groupon for my visit. I was delighted by the whole experience and I would most assuredly recommend 420 Doctor to anyone seeking to find an alternative way to effectively deal with uncontrollable chronic pain instead of using opioids.
