I scheduled an appointment for a specific stylist and everything was confirmed. I even received a confirmation text at 9:10 AM the same day for my 11:00 AM appointment. I came in 7 minutes before my appointment only to have the ladies at the front desk tell me that my stylist was not there and that they "called" and left a message that the appointment was cancelled. The "message" was a 2 second voicemail at 8:53 AM that was nothing but silence only to get a text message sent 17 minutes later saying the appointment was still confirmed. I understand that things come up and stylists have to cancel but the communication is awful. What a waste of time and a frustrating experience. read more

Go in for a beard trim, two employees sitting down playing in their phones..:don't even get all the way in and it's "unfortunately we can't help you if you don't have an appointment." I'm sorry, didn't know I needed an appointment to interrupt your time on TikTok and playing your phone game. If you don't wanna take walk ins when there's literally no one in your shop, I guess who am into offer you money. Literally the epitome of LAZY. read more

Floyd's 99 Barbershop - Empty shop but "need an appointment" - Barbers Near Me - Euless, Texas

I was a walk-in customer on a Monday morning (10:00AM) and saw a friendly front desk employee and a couple barbers at work. I asked if there was availability for a beard trimming and got checked in as next in line. Take note you'll need to schedule ahead of time for a straight razor appointment. My barber was Ashley - she was friendly and you could tell she paid attention to detail. I had a lot of questions on how to maintain my beard being new to facial hair care. She recommended products and walked me through the process. Happy to come back to this business! read more

The stylist Cece was great She was super sweet, recommended a couple things to help with styling and made my hair look great. 10/10 definitely will come back read more

Well have spent the last 20 minutes watching 4+ staff members stand around and joke. Another 2 just disappeared into the back. What looks like the manager doing the same. Have waited nearly an hour to be seen Have watched 6 employees look at the screen and walk away. Clearly the people working here don't care read more

I was immediately greeted and checked in, in an efficient, quick, and welcoming way. Throughout the haircut with Dustin, I felt like I was just talking with a friend, not someone I just met. I told him that I didn't want to go all the way to my skin on the cut, but did want it short. We started at a "5" and worked our way down to a "2" which is what he originally recommended (I probably should listen haha). They made me feel welcomed, loved, appreciated, needed, and most importantly, they made me want to come back. read more

Best place in town to get my hair cut and styled. I always request Noelle Borden. She's a talented hairstylist and knows exactly how to work with my hair type to achieve the look I requested! Her attention to detail is incredible read more

Chose a time slot for my appointment. Arrived, sat in the chair and told the lady I wanted a razor fade. She said "I can't do that, I'm not a barber. If you want to wait 20 minutes I can have a barber cut your hair with a razor". I waited an hour and no one ever cut my hair. A barbershop that doesn't have barbers working in it? Felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. No one ever updated me on my new appointment time. Waste of time. Blows my mind businesses can be run this horribly and still exist. read more

Rating only three stars because the customer service needs improvement. For some background: I don't know if different barbershops have different standards for what constitutes a "3," but I've always gotten a "3" at Great Clips and been pleased. At Floyd's the hairdresser tried to steer me away from a "3," for which I was grateful because their "3" would have been far too short. The problem was that once I decided not to do a "3," the hairdresser then expected me to know -- on the spot -- exactly how I'd like my hair cut instead. Given that my original choice (and the haircut I've always defaulted to) was not going to work, this was not a question I could easily, let alone quickly, answer. So I asked her to help me decide on a cut, a seeming-natural request that served only to perplex and annoy her. She made little effort to conceal her frustration with me, throwing out passive-aggressive phrases like "that's why I keep asking which haircut you want," and it took a lot of coaxing to get her simply to suggest a higher razor number. I don't expect royal treatment from anyone, but when I'm paying more than double Great Clips prices for a shave and haircut I do expect cordiality and patience at a minimum. On the other hand, I was very pleased with the haircut itself, which turned out to be one of the sharpest and most professional I've ever had done. And the warm towel treatment is a very nice touch that makes a usually tedious experience feel like an hour at the spa. Overall, I have mixed feelings on whether I'd go back: I don't want to pay good money in support of surly service, but on the other hand the product can't be beat. Perhaps Floyd's is a good choice for those who view their hair as an art form, but those who just want maintenance cuts might be better off at a national chain. (PS: I did reach out to the owner per his request below and have not received a response.) read more

This place is just ass. Every one there is emo, they never talk and they suck at cutting hair. I'm sorry but I'm never coming back

All the employees here have always been nice and store has a very upbeat atmosphere. Jordan is awesome! Not super talkative but very engaging. Will continue to keep coming back. read more

Great cut and price. Everyone was friendly and professional. Clean and modern. Convenient parking.

I've been going to Anna for several months now, and she always does a phenomenal job. I'm pretty finicky about getting my fade right. The best way to tell if you've done a good job is if I request you. Anna has won me over. I'll skip a week just to make sure I get a slot with her. Highly recommend! read more

Lady told me an hour wait for a hair cut, which is fine since I didn't have an appointment. Then she asked me if I wanted a Floyd's cut or a Skin fade. Told her I was wanting a skin fade, then she said for that the wait would be a couple hours. How does the type of hair cut make the wait time double? Doesn't make any damn sense. read more
