HEATED POOL WITH A SCENE…read more Each Las Vegas pool on The Strip has its own characteristic. The Scene Pool Deck at Planet Hollywood is another example. I stayed at Planet Hollywood for the last four nights of September. I checked-in on a Sunday, but I didn't swim that day as I entered my room at 4:00 PM; the pool was closed at 5:00 PM. I ended up swimming at this pool twice during my stay. The first day was on a Monday. After working out in the morning then gambling at a casino outside The Strip, I came here on a Monday afternoon at 4:30 PM leaving me only 30 minutes to swim. The lounge chairs located near the pool were all occupied so I had to place my belongings at the lounge chair at the lower deck. The following day it rained slightly in Vegas. I wasn't sure if the Scene Pool Deck would be opened because of the rain. After lunch I came here around 2:30 PM. Due to the rain earlier in the day the Scene Deck Pool was not as packed as the day before. Therefore I was able to get a lounge chair near the pool. Unlike the day before I had more time to swim in the pool then read a book when I wasn't in the pool. One thing I like about the pool is it's heated. I think the Scene Deck Pool is one of the few pools on The Strip that is heated. The pool has enough depth as it's about five to six feet. The whirlpool is a decent size that could fit about 10 people without feeling too cramped. The Scene Pool Deck is appropriately named as you can see other resorts in the background. I only swam here twice during my four-night stay at Planet Hollywood, but looking back I wish I could have swim one more day at The Scene Pool Deck.
