Panicking we called Majed from Flowers Etc. and we were so relieved to find he could take care of us but also that he was so nice and easy to talk to. Despite having completed (quite literally) thousands of weddings, he was very patient with us. With little time to spare he gave us a MORE than fair quote and worked with us on payment delivery. The sense of relief and joy this brought was priceless. On the wedding day we were completely blown away. Went there for a last minute corsage. Open sign on. Two older women standing there. One was priming the flowers in front of her. They didn't even greet me just made me feel uncomfortable with their expressions. One ask "what do you want". I told them what I needed .Both women told me we are closed. Website listed 9am. I arrived 9:10am. I left basically after being thrown out, one lady immediately turned off the sign and locked the door. If I could give no stars I would. Rude people. Working with public in health care I would have understood a polite rejection by stating we are not open just yet. 3 times bad service . Once November 2018 for delivery to Loma linda during the week for mom. Trying to get flowers for mom funeral in December they were too busy to help me. The owner listened to me and assured me that they could create something "happy and colorful" and get the flowers delivered quickly. Where to start? We worked with a friendly guy named Majed, and we gave our input in what we wanted for our designs and colors for our wedding. Flowers ETC was contracted with our venue, Serendipity Garden Weddings, so it was included in the package we chose, but we payed extra to have some extra bits added. Pricing was reasonable. Majed was very knowledgeable with everything and made our meeting efficient and easy. He brought our vision to life on our wedding day, and we are eternally grateful with how everything turned out. It's easy to see why Serendipity Gardens chooses to work with this team of florist, they are amazing! For the center pieces, I really wanted a rustic shabby chic looking arrangement in a wooden box, and my vision came to life! Each box was hand made by their team and the arrangement of flowers were perfect. To help reduce waste of flowers, they utilized the centerpieces as the arch decoration during the ceremony as well, so resourceful! I called today at 10 AM to order a same-day arrangement for my mother's birthday, and it was delivered at 2:30 PM. Maj was very friendly and answered the questions I had. I read many reviews beforehand, so I knew that the photos on the website are for inspiration. You should not expect an exact replica given that the exact types of flowers and color tones may not be available on the day you call. As long as you understand that, you'll be happy. When I requested the "Full of Love" arrangement ($79.95), Maj informed me that there were no tulips available but he assured me that he'd make a beautiful arrangement. I trusted his judgment and am very happy with the final result. He sent me a photo of the arrangement before sending it out for delivery and added two more roses (for a total of 7) after I requested a couple more. Overall, it was a very easy, pleasant experience. I was a Serendipity Bride and had a consultation with Flowers Etc to see if we would go through them. We met with Majet who did the consultation, after the consultation Majet told us that we had until 2 weeks before the wedding to decide if we wanted to go through him, at the end of the day we decided not to go through Flowers Etc because we found them a bit pricey and found a cheaper florist. A couple of days before my wedding I get a call from Majet asking about my flowers, I kindly told him we already had a florist. He became so angry and told me "Why didn't you tell us earlier?!" "Then why did you come to the consultation?!" And as I was trying to explain to him that we went to the consultation because DUH! A Bride has the right to shop around for her vendors, he hung up on me as I was talking! First of all, he clearly told us to contact him 2 weeks before the wedding if we wanted his services. Second, how dare he question as to why I went to a consultation with him, as if I wasted his time. HELLO, that is what consultations are for, to get quoted and make decisions about the service.
