carlos and marcia were an absolute dream to work with. after some miscommunication with the first flower shop i had planned to use, i suddenly found myself scrambling at the last minute. i had been tasked with surprising my friend at her engagement party slash birthday party, and this was t-minus three hours before the event, so i was definitely feeling the stress. thankfully, my boyfriend found this shop. i showed them a few inspiration photos i had found on pinterest, and they immediately understood the vision. they knew exactly what to do, and we were just chilling at the shop while they worked. the flower arrangement turned out beautiful, and we received so many compliments on how great the flowers looked. and as we were leaving, marcia said see you on valentine's day, and indeed he did return to get flowers for me. 10/10 experience -- i could not recommend them more. read more

Lunelly's is fantastic. Seriously--how are their flowers so fresh? Their arrangements have lasted two full weeks at least! The flowers continue to look and smell beautiful long after purchase. And at a great price too. Plus, it's owned by a really sweet family. They are friendly, helpful, and do an awesome job creating custom unique arrangements. This is my go-to for flowers in the borough. read more

A dear friend ended up in a hospital in Astoria and I'm so grateful my search for florists near the hospital led me to Flowers by Lunelly. I was ordering from another state so was 100% relying on the honesty and genuine desire of the florist to make something nice for my friend. Before finding Lunelly, I had been struggling to find something to send because everything I was looking at (on sites like 1-800 flowers) that met the restrictions on what could be sent seemed totally generic and impersonal. I'm glad I didn't give up the search because Lunelly ended up making the perfect gift - an adorable Hello Kitty stuffed animal and a few nice get well balloons. The florist sent a picture to me before delivering it to the hospital, and while I thought it looked great, more importantly, my friend's husband told us the gift made her smile. read more

Highly recommended for anyone looking to gift unique bouquets, business presents or flowers for your every-day! Carlos, his wife Marcia and their son Dexter provided outstanding and prompt service (I order a very big bouquet to be done within a few hours, for my husband's birthday and they got it done without complaints or any comments). They understood what I was looking for - obviously gifting flowers to a men is not easy ;-) And, the value for the price is unbeatable: you can tell that they care about their business and their customers, love their business and are up to a challenge! Thank you for an amazing service, high-quality flowers & greens and visualizing what your customer needs! I will certainly come back as soon as I can! read more

I called to place an order from a different state for my mom's birthday. The customer service was amazing - it was my first time ever ordering flowers for someone and they were very helpful. I told them the colors I wanted in the bouquet and they assured me they would make something beautiful for her. The delivery was timed perfectly, and the bouquet was stunning. The price was MUCH more reasonable than online retailers. I 100% recommend! read more

I called yesterday to have flowers delivered to my daughter in LIC as it was her wedding anniversary. I worked with Marcia to create a wonderful flower bouquet that will last a few days. She completed it on time, sent me a quick photo of the same, and delivered it to my daughter at the correct time. The creation was beautiful and made the day for my daughter and son-in-law. It's nice to know there are small shops that are friendly and easy to deal with, and they take the extra step to wow the customers. I highly recommend this establishment to get flowers and flower arrangements. read more

I couldn't be happier with the service and communication. Thank you so much Carlos and team, you're the best! read more

I went into Flowers By Lunelly for the first time today and I was not disappointed. I was looking for a bouquet of flowers for my friend's birthday. They didn't have any pre-made bouquets so they made me one right then and there. It was stunning. The man working there (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name!) asked me my price point and from there made me a spectacular bouquet within my budget. My friend loved the flowers! I live close by and can't believe I've never been before, but I will definitely be back. read more

Topping my list of local businesses that make my life easier, please find Flowers by Lunelly. Oddly enough, this review has nothing to do with flowers and everything to do with balloons. Party balloons. That need to be blown up and delivered. Lunelly does so quickly, efficiently and for a reasonable price. Recently, I brought in 30 balloons to be inflated and delivered to Long Island City. Not only did they arrive on time, but the entire staff was pleasant and it only cost me $21. Including delivery! Signed. Sealed. Delivered. read more

Best wedding florist ever!!! Carlos and his wife are such a team, we love this family business and have also used them in the past for a 60th birthday celebration. When we dated, my husband would buy flowers for me from Flowers By Lunelly, we definitely knew we wanted them to be our wedding florist. Our wedding was in Rye, NY. They are very professional and were able to work with our budget. Everything from the centerpieces, bridal bouquet, corsages and even cake topper were beyond my expectations. My family has been going here for years for flowers. The old man in this store always allows my granny to separate up the bunches and add gladiolas or other flowers. I just felt after doing business with them for over 5 years now, my review deserved an update. Nothing has changed and THAT IS THE GREAT PART! Consistently amazing and accommodating. In the time I have known them now, they have produced incredible floral arrangements, balloons and bouquets countless times for me on such occasions as: -Birthdays -Anniversaries -Mother's Day -Easter -4th of July -Sympathy -Thanksgiving -Christmas ....and my wedding. I used them for as many of my wedding flowers as I could (our location had a very short approved vendor list for INSIDE the hall) and I was thrilled. Carlos came to my hotel and pinned all the flowers on all 11 groomsmen plus myself. If you have any floral needs at all, feel comfortable in ordering from a family run business run by great people. read more

I love to shop local, and this wonderful family business is a great example of why it is important to stay connected to the people behind the product. The flowers are fresh and long lasting(my last purchase lasted 8 days!), They will work with you to stay on budget and build something beautiful, and they. always greet you with a smile. Don't be fooled into thinking the flower stand options are more economical. In my area, the flower stands are more expensive, and the flowers dead within a few days. Another reason to stay in Astoria! read more

Even if I'm not a big fan of Valentine's Day and its commercialization, I have to confess that I appreciate the eloquent use of flowers as the language of love. That is why I have no objections at all when I receive flowers on different occasions throughout the year, including Valentine's Day. For several years, my husband has ordered flowers from Carlos (the "Flower Man") of Flowers by Lunelly. I am delighted to receive the flowers, see the elegant lilies, touch the regal orchids and smell the sweetly fragrant roses. During summer, the sunflowers are almost as big as the watermelons of the season and they never fail to brighten the room. Most of the time, it's the Flower Man himself who delivers the flowers. Lunelly is a family business so his wife, Marcia and their children help out at the store. They also have cards, party favors and party balloons. I would love it if Lunelly adds more options for flowers, like my favorite, ranunculus, or even peonies. No matter what, there will always be those among us who like to say it with flowers. May their tribe increase. read more

Amazing florist! I am so glad I found them. I came here twice so far and both times I left happy. The first time I bought a premade bouquet that was outside and it was so pretty, fresh and priced perfectly ($15). The second time I came, I got a big beautiful arrangement in a vase ($60) with ballons ($3 foil, $1 latex) and I got to write a card. The whole arrangement was huge and gorgeous. They offered to deliver, but I chose to carry it, since I was only taking it 2 blocks away for a co-worker/friend. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures, I wish I had. But trust me go here you won't regret it. I'll be coming here again soon for sure, and I'll try their delivery service. I wish I had found Lunelly's much much sooner. Because I've ordered really expensive bouquets online before from other places and when they get delivered they don't even look like they're worth $10 let alone $80-$100 I pay. They were so small compared to what Lunelly's had to offer. I always thought florists were ridiculously expensive, but not Lunelly's. They're so reasonably priced here, and are so so so nice. They work with you to make whatever you want/envision. And they work with your price point, just tell them what you want to spend and they'll make something gorgeous. You'll leave smiling! read more

I work in LIC and received a dozen roses from this florist from my fiance. All i can say is OMG!!!!!
