I spent well over an hour looking through websites claiming to be for "the best florist in San Antonio" until I came across No. 9. The moment their home page loaded with their gorgeously gothic arrangement, I KNEW this was the florist for me. They don't have set arrangements to show on the site, so I called and spoke to Angel. She explained that everything is custom-made and their prior work can be seen on Instagram. Based on the vibe I got from Instagram and their website, I had no doubt that I'd be ordering from No. 9. Angel and I quickly discussed my budget, timing, the flowers she had available, and the color palette, including potential use of local foliage and flowers. The arrangement, delivered just this morning, blew me away. Even though I knew No. 9 would come through with something unconventional, Angel worked her magic and produced a heart stopper. My husband, Phil, and I waited for 3 years for this wedding because of COVID. At first, it was going to be at Wedgewood Brittany Hill in CO, then it got cancelled because of COVID, then Wedgewood Carmel in CA when things started to reopen, and finally we moved it to Hofmann Ranch because my mom is struggling with complications from her double knee replacement surgeries that were postponed because of COVID and she couldn't fly to CA. The day before our wedding, Southwest cancelled Phil's best man's and his wife's flights, Phil's cousins' flights, and my friend's flights and my uncle had to drive all the way from San Diego the day before the wedding. We were beyond worried and devastated. Because of the Hofmann Ranch team, we felt so secure and so loved and our families and friends were able to meet each other for the first time and connect with each other. Britney thought of everything: making sure that my mom had a place to sit so that she could march with me halfway down the path of the patio deck, she held onto my train, she made a water color Phannie drink sign that was gorgeous, she made sure that we ate, she thought of every single detail and schedule change when our families kept talking and singing (this is what happens when you get a whole bunch of Filipinos together LOL), she made sure that Phil and I ate food, and there are countless other things that I am sure that we don't know about. Giving Britney my bouquet was the only way that I could say how grateful I was for creating a magical place and experience in spite of all the obstacles. Phil and I are so thrilled and feel like we were destined to be married at Hofmann Ranch. You have a special place in our hearts. I hope that your mother liked the bouquet. This is what giving it to you means to me.  We would like to express our love and gratitude to Britney, Sara, Chef Daniel, Mark, Joey, Josh, and the Limelight Photography team. Our coordinator Brittany and captian Sara were angels! They ensured my husband and I got every thing we needed. Chef Daniel and staff Mel, Lizzie, Natalia, Sirena were attentive, efficient and kind. Our Bartender Teresa was lively and quick to tend to our guests. The planning, meeting with vendors and appointments leading up to our wedding were a breeze. Everything was taken care of so well. The venue itself is beautiful we couldn't have asked for anything different. I will forever recommend this masterpiece of a venue! Jeanice was so nice and although they did not have the tree in-stock, she knew what I was talking about and took the time to call her suppliers to find the trees I was looking for. Donnie, her husband, went the extra step to inspect the trees to make certain they were "worth it" before we made our purchase. Now that is customer service. The have just started out so the nursery is small but they are happy to order what you are looking for. Jeanice is a wiz with plants and will offer great advice if you ask. She singlehandedly saved our wedding countless times, and made our vision come to life in the most spectacular way! After having been burned by two other so-called wedding planners with 5-star reviews on websites like TheKnot.com and WeddingWire.com, I was reluctant, to say the least, to hire another wedding planner. The first wedding planner I had hired did nothing her contract said that she would do for me (like negotiate contracts and help me find vendors), so I cancelled with her - during which she had made me sign a non-disclosure agreement. The next wedding planner simply took my money and ran. That was a loss of $2K, right there. Gone forever from our wedding budget. Even so, my attendants couldn't help (they lived in Dallas, Oklahoma City, or were overseas) and I was in over my head. I decided to give it one more try. I asked a friend, Tricia, who she would recommend. She gave me Joanne Doll's phone number. Joanne and I met at Bakery Lorraine and I immediately just adored her. She arrived exactly on time, if not a little early. She was the sweetest, most down to earth person. I was impressed by how organized she was, even at our first meeting. She was 100% supportive and enthusiastic about our theme. She told me about her background in teaching and showed me examples of her work. She was upfront about her company's pricing and her contract was written in clear, easy to understand (without needing to have a law school degree!) language. I was VERY PLEASED that her contract did not have a non-disclosure ("no negative review") clause in it. I hired her right then, at that meeting. From before day one, Joanne was responsive, and ALWAYS did what she said she was going to do, when she said she would do it. I would get a super helpful email every month with check-in on various aspects which was insanely helpful. When my father passed away, Joanne gave space when needed and support when needed. Over the course of the past year, I grew to care for her as a friend, if not family, because she was just such an anchor at times. When things hit a snag, Joanne always was able to find a solution quickly and with the greatest of finesse. I was seriously impressed. When the week of the wedding cane, of course, some things went awry, but as usual, Joanne got it handled. Our wedding day would have probably not happened without her excellent judgment and fantastic problem solving skills. I was so very grateful to have her on our team. She really did MAKE our wedding happen! In fact, I was having trouble with the ceremony music, and she was able to, with her skills as THE BEST WEDDING PLANNER EVER, and her knowledge of us as a couple, recommended the perfect song for me to walk down the aisle to. Joanne has absolutely earned a place in our hearts and in our family for her incredible work on our wedding. Our only regret was that we didn't hire her FIRST, as soon as we got engaged. I HIGHLY recommend Lasting Impressions by Design, especially their FULL PLANNING package, because even if you think you already have everything planned out, Joanne will be able to take your vision and make it happen within your budget (if not under), keep you calm when life gets crazy (and IT WILL!), and make the entire process so much smoother. As dramatic as that may sound, I never understood just how important a day of coordinator was until we booked with LIBD. Every month leading up to my wedding day, I received emails keeping me on track for my wedding and reminding me of even the smallest details that I might forget! I sent every contract to LIBD to ensure that any breaches of contracts (I'll revisit that) could be taken care of appropriately. When the days were getting close to the wedding, I met with Joanne and Katie to discuss every detail down to the 10 minutes my groom and I would have alone time in the bridal suite after our ceremony. (A necessity by the way!) Joanne and Katie even helped me with some last minute rental items for small details at my wedding that I wanted but had a hard time finding on my own. Come the day of the rehearsal and they were able to lead my wild and crazy wedding party the right way and just as I imagined my wedding to be. Finally, on the day of the wedding, I didn't have to lift a finger. Joanne and Katie teamed up and took care of every detail for me, set up my signage and decor that I brought from home. These ladies made sure that my groom and I never had to stand in line at the bar and had a drink in hand at all times. They reminded me to breathe, kept me on track, and took care of our gifts and cleaning up the items we brought from home and loaded our cars. The photobooth at my wedding showed up over 2 hours late and Joanne and Katie made sure that we received a full refund without me having to say a word to the photobooth company. We have already recommended to a couple friends about hiring a wedding coordinator because of what a pleasant experience we had, we also will be sure to recommend LIBD to any local friends and family members of ours getting married! Thank you Joanne and Katie for every big and little feat you did for Frank and I. We cannot thank you enough!

We hired BE for decor set up and breakdown for our wedding. Based off our experience, I would never…read moredo business with them again. You will be left on read, treated like your business/event doesn't matter once it is happening or over, and given excuses because they can't stay on top of their own operations. Things as simple as confirming our event timeline ahead of time, checking in with us, were not done. Reading and responding to emails takes them weeks. Or you may never get a response. They have no problem taking your payments, though. Poorly delivered contracted services agreed upon and they did not do several things they were supposed to, left all my family, myself and the groom scrambling to do the job we hired them to do at the end of the night. Unbelievable. Owner was never present and sent people to work our event that I'd never seen, spoke to, had no contact information for, and we weren't told this would be the case. Poor follow up, customer service, and execution of services overall. Several things were wrong at our wedding, incomplete, or never done. I was assured ahead of time our requests would be met but they weren't. They were the most disappointing vendor we hired for our wedding. We would not recommend them to anyone.

I went to her with questions on the actual venue when the venue coordinator was out of town--and she was nothing but helpful! It was important to me to have waitstaff & bartenders who had been at the venue before, as in my experience that tends to lessen the chance for last minute problems--and they definitely delivered! The linens were delivered on time and set up in what seemed like record time (they estimated to be done by 2 or 3pm; and they were almost completed by the time I arrived at the venue at 1:30) Dinner was served in a timely manner (buffet style); and the cleanup crew did a great job of cleaning everything up quickly and unnoticeably. While I didn't get the chance to meet the bartenders, all of my guests had nothing but great things to say about their friendliness and service, and I am so glad we went with them! In addition, an important family piece was accidentally packed away with the other dishes. When we realized it was missing, Amanda took time out of her vacation to contact the staff that night; and people who could look and located the missing cake slicers! She offered to drop them in the mail, at no cost to me (though I opted to pick up). Working with Blue Bonnets was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend them to any of my friends looking for: linen/dinnerware rental; food servers/cleanup and bartenders.
