I spent such a long time reviewing all of the bouquets of flowers for my daughter's birthday. I chose 'Fashionista Blooms' and upgraded to deluxe. The woman on the phone reviewed what I wanted to say to my daughter; "Happy Birthday, Sam. Love Mom and Dad.". Instead the card read "Between 3-6" with the restaurant address added. The bouquet looked NOTHING like what I ordered and had half the flowers it should have. I got ripped off, basically. My daughter said the flowers smelled amazing. I showed her what I picked out vs what she received. Disappointed to say the least. I will say, the woman who answered was wonderful to speak with. They just don't deliver what you actually ordered. read more

Wow! After being an extremely satisfied customer of Flowers By Kristil for many YEARS, I finally decided to take the time to write a positive review of the business. My first reaction when I saw the negative reviews here was "is this the same business!" Sadly, my research revealed that it is in fact the same business the negative reviews discuss. Fortunately, my many years of being a customer of Flowers By Kristil paint an entirely different picture of the business than those in the negative reviews. For example, in September of 2021, a friend of my wife lost her son to suicide. This friend lives in Lynnwood. On 9/8/2021, my wife ordered flowers from Flowers By Kristil to be delivered on 9/9/2021. Everything occurred without a hitch! The flowers were gorgeous. The service was spectacular. On 10/1/2019, I ordered flowers from Flowers By Kristil to be delivered to my wife at her work. There was no occasion for the flowers other than I love my wife and I wanted to send flowers to her. I also wanted a stuffed animal to be included with the flowers. Flowers By Kristil provides this service as well. The flowers and stuffed animal were to be delivered on 10/3/2019. On 10/2/2019, Flowers By Kristil contacted me by email to tell me they could not get the stuffed animal that I wanted and asked if a substitution would be satisfactory. I agree that it would. I thought the stuffed animal was going to be something the size of a Beanie baby and cheaply made, like something out of a vending machine where you can win a stuffed animal if you operate the crane correctly. WRONG! The stuffed animal was full-sized! My wife loved it! And the flowers, as usual, were gorgeous! In all of the years I have been ordering from Flowers By Kristil, have they made a mistake! Sure they have. What human being doesn't! When I contacted them about the mistake, they not only replaced the flowers (the substitution I agreed to when I placed the order was a less than desirable flower compared to what I ordered), they did so WITHOUT CHARGE! They delivered the replacement flowers the SAME DAY WITHOUT CHARGE for the order! Where do you find such dedication to customers! So, although I don't doubt the negative statements made in the posts by others here on Yelp, the negative comments are not indicative of the Flowers By Kristil that I have known and done business with for many years. The flowers and chocolate truffles (from Trader Joes) that he included with the order were literally dumped at the bottom of our driveway In a pile of dirt. It was 96° and the vase was not even in any kind of protective box. The truffles, of course, were a puddle. I paid nearly $400 for a special order bouquet for an event. When it arrived I saw that the majority of the flowers were wilting. I had to go to Safeway and purchase an additional $100 worth of flowers to replace what was wilting and make the bouquet look like it should have. I would not recommend this florist as their primary job is to know flowers- and to be able to tell when they're dying, not stick them in an overpriced bouquet. Had high hopes, since this was the only shop that would deliver on valentines day due to the late nature of my order. Flowers were delivered. Girlfriend was confused with wrong last name attached. No big deal though. The teddy bear was forgotten by the delivery driver. Little upset. Wrong vase, since they ran out. Little irritating. Then a different driver calls to verify address, after I had already given to the gal that answered the phone. He informs me that they do not deliver to where I am, Graham, since they are in Olympia. I inform him that the flowers have already been delivered and was just missing the bear. I call the ship, again. Yet again am told they do not deliver to graham, evwn though my flowers made it there. She says "we will refund the bear, is that okay with you?" . I say to her" I don't really have an option do I. " she say "no, because we don't deliver there, I just want to make sure you are okay with us refunding the bear?!" "No, I am not okay with it but I don't really have a choice do i?!" I also inform her that they need to fix their website as to not allow such customers as myself to have the option to go through the entire process of paying for said delivery then to be told they do not deliver to us. When I say that this business owner is RUDE it is a complete understatement. I am always down to support local businesses over the larger chain stores, but I would drive 20 minutes to Walmart (gasp) for flowers before EVER supporting Kristil. I'd heard from several Steamboat families, and a couple ex delivery drivers that she was absolutely unbearable, but I like to give the benefit of doubt to people. I went in there and was speaking with a woman creating arrangements (she was pleasant!) when Kristil stormed out from the back and ripped the papers from my hand I was mid conversation with the florist and barked "Nope, nope, nope, I'm not the one... I received Mother's Day flowers from my son in Upstate New York. He used this shop, in part, because they were one of the few in our area that would deliver despite the virus. The gentleman who delivered them was Covid compliant and still polite with a big "Happy Mother's Day" greeting. The flowers were beautiful and are just now beginning to fade. When I called to check on the order the woman I spoke to was NOT helpful and blamed being so busy on it being Valentines Day-which is a week away. Very disappointed with the service and product the was delivered. I prefer patronizing local businesses and ordered a beautiful floral arrangement online for my auntie's birthday. The arrangement delivered looked absolutely nothing like what I ordered. I understand and read the policy prior to placing the order that the flowers may be replaced due to what's available in store BUT it also stated that the flower being replaced would be the same price range. This was not the case! I was so embarrassed at what my auntie received. The arrangement looked wilted and did not look fresh. We had a big, formal Christmas party after just moving into our new house that we had extensively renovated. We gave Kristil a budget and told her to go way over the top. AND SHE DID!!! The arrangement is unbelievable and kind of took over our high-ceiling entry hall, which is just what we wanted - it stood over 6 feet tall! One close friend told us it was exactkly like the displays she sees on her trips to the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach. People are still calling us about it a week later. It totally made the party. There's a picture of it on my Yelp page if you want to take a look, and I've also set it as my profile photo. We have nothing but great things to say about Kristil. She is very imaginative, completely professional and, considering that our budget was large, very reasonable. She communicates well and offers great, great ideas. She even loaned us a very elegant bronze urn to put the arrangement in so it would stand tall enough. We will definitely be coming back for more. Livid. My husband ordered the ENDLESS bouquet that is 59.95 with roses and Astoria. He specially ordered this bouquet because it did not have lilies and he said DO NOT PUT LILIES MY WIFE IS ALLERGIC. WHAT WAS DELIVERED WAS BULL SHIT. IT WAS THESE UGLY SPRAY MINI ROSES THAT HAD A BUNCH OF BROWN LEAVES AND LILIES. I worked in a flower shop so I have an idea what flowers cost this bouquet was maybe worth 39. Not 59 plus 10 delivery and tax. I can't even enjoy them because they are filled with lilies. Called to find out why what was ordered was not delivered and was told they would replace it. Well still have not picked up this crap and delivered a new one. I have pics of what was ordered and what was delivered. Not worth the money at all. Word of advice when someone orders a certain bouquet maybe you should make it that way, there is probably a reason. I have always received incredibly respectful service, rapid delivery and a happy response from the person receiving the flowers. She has always been glad to add a little something extra... I would not hesitate to order from her again, and I would recommend her to anyone. I have visited her shop many times, have often observed her creating the most beautiful arrangements. Having read the previous reviewer, I could not believe they were talking about the same person! I can't see the point in trashing this business. In February and March of this year (2013) I ordered condolence bouquets for my sisters who live in the Olympia area. I was ordering by phone and didn't have an opportunity to actually see the arrangements myself, but my sisters were really pleased with them, and said the bouquets were beautiful. I do see a negative review on Yelp for this seller, but my experience was completely different. I found her to be kind, helpful, professional, and sympathetic both times, and personally I would not hesitate to order flowers from her again or recommend her to others. read more

I never write reviews, but I am so frustrated by this experience. My husband had a bouquet sent to me for Valentines Day. It was delivered, and I couldn't have been more disappointed. It looked scraggly and haphazardly put together, and the 1 Lilly was torn and dead looking. I looked up the specific bouquet online, it was $50 and the one sent didn't resemble ANYTHING like the picture online. They also forgot the balloon. My husband called and they sent a replacement one. That one was better put together, but had very little flowers. Not full at all. Still didn't look anything like the picture. Such a disappointment. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I called and ordered a sympathy flower arrangement for my sister-in-law's deceased sister's memorial. The picture on Flowers by Kristil's webpage looked beautiful. It was the most expensive arrangement on the webpage ($102. inc tax). My sister-in- law sent a picture to all of the relatives thanking us for our kind thoughts. I was quite frankly embarrassed! If I could give this florist less than one star I would. I posted two photos to her business page: "Flowers by Kristil" on the Yelp site. The first, with roses, was a bouquet I received at a hospital following my surgery on October 8th. The arrangements were ordered by my workplace directly from the florist's website. The bouquet had wilted Peruvian lilies, orange and brown mums on the backside of the bouquet (which aren't shown in the picture) in an ugly orange vase, with no ribbon. The salal greenery had brown spots and torn foliage, and there were broken stems that hadn't been trimmed back. I had never seen such a mismatched and unprofessional bouquet. When I returned home, I contacted the florist and told her that something wasn't right about the arrangement and proceeded to describe it to her, since she said that she couldn't tell me what it was that my workplace had ordered for me, when I said that I wanted to view a picture of what the bouquet was supposed to be. Kristil was very short with me, and seemed irritated. She said she would send a new bouquet, which sort if resembled the second picture that I posted. It still was messy and unprofessional. My husband returned it and asked for a refund. Kristil told him I was a nut and told him to leave her shop. At his insistence, she provided my husband with a receipt, crediting my workplace for the cost of the original $57 order they had placed. I spoke with my coworker who placed the order, and she told me that the picture of the bouquet that I had taken in my hospital room was not anything like what she ordered. I think that Kristil thought she could get by with sending an inferior and obviously wrong arrangement to me, since I was in Olympia, and the order was from out of Seattle. BAD business decision, and what I think could be credit card fraud. She should have apologized and tried to make things right. Instead she hurled insults and was completely offensive. Shame on her for trying to pull a fast one by providing a cheap arrangement with discards to a person who she probably thought could be taken advantage of! I'm posting this to Facebook as well, to spread the word. I wonder, how many other people has she ripped off? By the way Kristil, I know you won't be receiving other orders from my employer. Horrible! I am so disappointed! Do not order from this place. Did NOT have delivered what I ordered! I placed an order for a the health nut plant basket for my sister in Olympia. The basket should've included a plant, assortment of nuts and fruit....the basket arrived with ONLY nuts and a little fruit and NO plant included! My sister was offended was wondering if I was trying to send her some type of message that she's a "nut" since I sent her a bunch of nuts! When I thought my friends were gone and wouldn't receive the flowers, she had the driver go back and check to make sure they were received, and offered to bring them back to the shop if they weren't. My two daughters sent me a bouquet through Teleflora for my birthday. The arrangement they order was not the arrangement I received. The arrangement was suppose to have roses, mums, lilies and in a lovely round vase. The arrangement that was left was horrible. It was made up of miniature carnations,2 gerber daisys literally stuffed in a plain tall vase. What makes matters worse is that after complaining, apparently there was to be a replacement made for the correct order. Third day and still no bouquet.
