Helen was recommended by our wedding planner to do the flowers for our wedding. The florist was the last thing that I booked because I was just so worried about it being too expensive. I wanted beautiful flowers but couldn't justify spending the kind of money that I know wedding flowers can cost. Helen worked within a VERY reasonable budget to create gorgeous bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, centerpieces and ceremony decor. In our meeting, she did a great job finding out what was the most important to me to spend the most on and what my "vision" was for our flowers and came up with flowers to fit it all. For something I was dreading planning, she made it fun and easy. And, I cried when the bouquets were delivered to my bridesmaids and I, which I think says it all. I'm no expert on flower shops, but this seems to be a pretty great one. They have a good selection, the flowers are really nice, and the prices are fair. The people who work there seem nice too. (Why not a 5-star review? The hours are weird, especially on Saturday, and I have no idea when they'll be open. I went by the other day, and the sign on the door said "HOURS Monday thru Friday: 8-6. Saturday: 8-" And I was like, No duh, "8-." You guys need to make your hours consistent.) read more

I worked with Flowers and Such for my wedding this past weekend and they were absolutely wonderful! I was doing all of my wedding planning remotely and they were so flexible and happy to do all of the consultations over the phone. And the bouquets they put together for me and my bridesmaids were absolutely stunning! They fit exactly what I had imagined! The boutonnieres were also fabulous! I have two teenaged girls, we've been through five proms now because one has a boyfriend a year older than she is. Twice we've ordered prom flowers from Flowers & Such, mostly because I was under time constraints. Both times the flowers were pretty, both times they were ordered via the offerings online, which are standard industry offerings and can be found at almost any flower shop with a website. Flowers & Such is considerably more expensive than other shops in higher end surrounding areas like Ann Arbor and Sylvania, OH. I believe this cost increase has nothing to do with the quality of the flowers or design, since the same arrangements can be purchased nearly anywhere. I believe this is due to the fact that they are one of a very small handful (3?) flower shops in Adrian. I frequently seek out local, private businesses but I feel they are taking advantage of the community and will never order flowers there again. It's very unfortunate. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Flowers and such has always been known as being more expensive, but better quality than other shops around town, but I would like to make it clear that they are NOT. I ordered one of their unique creations from the website and had it delivered to my mother's work for Mothers Day, but she got a completely different bouquet that was NOTHING like the one I ordered. When I called and complained they agreed to exchange the flowers with the right bouquet but when she got the new one, it was even worse than the first!! I expected professional quality, but what I got looked to be THROWN TOGETHER by a child... I paid a lot of money for the worst piece I have ever seen. I will NOT be going there again and I don't encourage ANYONE ELSE to do so either. read more
