I love this place for fresh flowers and their door wreaths. Great products. Wonderful and friendly customer service. I bought an Ohio State wreath for my dad. Fred and his assistant were so sweet and helpful. My dad wasn't sure if the one I got him was too big for his front door. It wasn't a problem--Fred told me to bring it back and he would exchange. We brought it in and compared to the smaller size. We were treated warmly as always and were never made to feel we were a bother. (My dad ended up keeping the larger sized one.) read more

I have shopped with Fred from Flower Galaxy for at least 15 years. I took my daughters Homecoming dress in for Fred to match her guys boutenneer, they are so accommodating! They are the only florist I trust!! I ordered an expensive bouquet for an Aunt who I wanted to honor for her funeral in the Detroit area, using Telefonica. The arrangement was so tacky and in an orange plastic bowl, I was embarrassed and disgusted. I bought all the flowers for my parents memorial services from Flower Galaxy and drove them 2 hours away to know their flowers were perfect to honor them. read more

This is not your carnations-and-baby's-breath kind of place. You'll get classy, unique flowers here for a good price. I always just give them a budget and let them come up with something beautiful. I've never been disappointed! I usually just walk in without pre-ordering. I'm not sure if that's their style, but they're always very accommodating! And 10 minutes later, I'm carrying a masterpiece of flowers out the door! I've used them for birthdays, a funeral, get well and "just because" arrangements. They deliver, too. The nicest, most professional and reliable florist in Upper Arlington. They have lovely custom made arrangements for just about any budget and any occasion. Their wreaths are so beautiful and hanging on most of the finest homes in UA, and the surrounding Columbus area. We get compliments on our huge block O wreath from there all the time. We also have a giant flower one that is equally as lovely. Our flower wreath is so realistic that a bee tried to pollinate it! One of their cutest wreaths to date is of a pastel pink Easter PEEP. Talked to one guy there who was very nice and helpful. Had to follow up because the flowers that were delivered were completely different than the ones I ordered. When I called back I spoke to a different guy that couldn't have been more rude and disrespectful. He was upset that I "had the nerve to call back." I was very disappointed with the service I received after I got the wrong flowers. Plenty of other flower shops in Columbus. Will never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone. And by the way, they have an extremely overpriced Block O for $170. This place is a joke. read more

We used Flower Galaxy for our wedding two weeks ago and I just cannot say enough great things about our flowers. They were stunning and looked exactly how we envisioned them. Judi is so wonderful to work with. She is amazing at her craft, and follows your personal vision through perfectly. All of our flowers were delivered to our wedding location in great condition. The ribbon work and attention to detail put into the bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces was amazing and we received compliments on them all night. Judi also created two large floral planters which we used on pedestals during our ceremony that were far beyond our expectations. All of the flowers held up beautifully thanks to the time and work Judi took when putting them together. They were a colorful and beautiful compliment to our garden party wedding setting. I ordered an arrangement off Flower Galaxy's website to be delivered to my mother. The online option had some fine print stating that, if the exact arrangement was unavailable, a comparable arrangement would be delivered. The arrangement I chose had poinsettia and cyclamen. The actual arrangement did not have a single flower! It was just greens, which is most certainly not what I paid for! I know I agreed to something similar being sent, but I assumed there would be some other red and white flowers, or SOMETHING with color! When I called to discuss, the owner insisted that my mom loved the arrangement (sure, she was pleased to have received a surprise floral arrangement, but again it was not what I paid for), and that he had no live blooms available (what florist doesn't have live blooms??). As I expressed my frustration, he continued to be very aggressive with me and insisted that if my mom's happiness was what is important, than I should know that she was very happy. He was so aggressive and unflinching, I told him I was going to hang up and take my business elsewhere. He promptly said "fine with me!" He didn't care in any way that his customer was disappointed. I am a very strong supporter of several businesses in Tremont Center, but I most certainly will not waste my money with them again. read more
