She texted me right away and got me in for a morning cancellation. With only 1 hour to spare I wasn't sure how much work could be done but it was a complete fill and my 1 eye that was almost bare was completely restored along with the other eye that wasn't in quite as bad shape. Mira is a star, she has been doing this for many years and knows what she is doing. I wish I lived in Van so I could see her often. It's been 10 days and my lashes are still as full as the day I got them done and they look amazing! Thanks so much Mira!

My entire experince with Ashlene was top notch. It felt like I was gabbing with an old friend while…read morehaving my treatment done. Ashlene was incredible genuine and that is hard to find in the beauty business these days. I getbtired of the constant upselling and other BS that often goes all with your service. I was there with a Groupon, which I have had terrible luck with as of late, but this was a pleasant surprise. Generally, I feel the beauty Groupons are a let down with astheticians often lacking the proper training for the treatment they are providing. I came to Ashlene for a retry on the whole lash lift experince. I hate wearing a lot of make and love the lash extension look, but I am just not that high maintenance. My previous attempt and a lashlift had me looking like I stuck my fingers in an electrical outlet; months to recover. Ashelen does very nice work! I was very happy with the end result, and though I was initially a little skeptical, after 4 or 5 days its time to give a well deserved 5 star review!! Thanks Ashlene! PS her services are through the Infinity salon. I was temporarily confused haha

When you get a service with Ashlene you can always be confident that she is professional with years of experience which is a must for pain free waxing! Ashlene offers a groupon special which is where I learned about her studio. It is located inside of Infinity Salon, there are some free parking at the plaza but can be hard to come by. There is online booking offered as well which makes it really easy to secure an appointment. I find that the waxing experience is much more reliable and relaxing than your regular waxing studios/chains where there can be inconsistency depending on the technician. Happy to be supporting a local business and an experience aesthetician like Ashlene. Highly recommended if you are nervous about getting waxed, it's a good way to ease into the experience in her capable hands.

I booked Maria for a facial and massage today because as a mother of an one-year old, I thought I…read moredeserved the time off! At the time of booking, Maria asked me if I can make it at 4pm, I said No I can not, I have to drop off my child at 4 and the earliest I can make is 4:15. She said no problem come! I even double checked "That's okay right? What time do you close? How long are the treatments? I can always come another time." Wanting to ensure that 4:15 still work for her 6pm closing time. She assured me that 4:15 was fine. So I booked my babysitter and I showed up right on time. When I got to the front, the receptionist was puzzled. Clearly Maria is with someone else. He went upstairs to check with her "Sorry, Maria said you were 15 minutes late so she took another client instead." What? In this short 15 minutes, she deemed me late and was able to get another client so quickly?? How is that even possible? Firstly, we specifically had that conversation about timing so how did she have me as 4pm? Secondly, if it was an honest mistake thinking I truly should have came at 4 instead and that I was late, it would be professional to call the client to check? Maybe when that other client walked in while you were contemplating taking them and cancelling me? That would be a nice time to let me know I shouldn't be coming anymore? No call, nothing. So incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful to simply take another client and ditch another without even coming out to address the issue. The receptionist was very apologetic "I am so sorry about what Maria did, there's nothing I can do as she only rents the room with us..." the way he said it alluded as if it's not the first thing this has happened. Even if it was truly an honest mistake, as a business owner there just is a respectful way to treat your clients with integrity. You could have called to cancel me, you could have called to check in with me, you could have came out to address this with me, and you could have even not blamed it on me saying I was late and therefore you took a client. You simply took a client and lacked integrity. Hugely Disappointed. I just went back to my child, picked her up and say forget it to my spa day.

The first time, I waited for an hour for my appointment because she messed up the date. And today, she insisted that my appointment is 10:30 and not 10:00. I even have two text messages from her to confirm my appointment. When I showed her the texts she didn't take a look and still insisted on her hand written note was 10:30. Instead of apologizing immediately, she asked, do you still want your facial done? As a business owner, I think knowing your own system and how to communicate when there is an error are so important

As well, I was informed that I could not pick which facial I wanted; she would decide what was needed after seeing my skin. Given that one facial is 60 minutes and the other is 90 minutes and more expensive I was not surprised that she booked me for the 90 minute facial. Had she honoured the prices on her website I would have been okay with the longer facial but then she told me that those were "old" prices. Given that I saw them on her website today I would not consider them old. I recommended that she update her website and canceled my appointment.

I wonder if they will add more in the future! The lady that did my nails was a lovely Irish import that I enjoyed chatting with during my treatment. She took great care and time with my nails and did an impeccable job. It was a full 60mins and she did it properly!! It is a bit expensive with $15 added to their Manicure rate of $40. They also charge you for shellac removal. I probably wouldn't come here on the regular for these prices but if you want to treat yourself or find a Groupon they do wonderful work! It's been five days and the nail polish is already starting to lift on some of my fingers. I will have to go in and pay to have it removed again. Wish up keep.
