I gave ACS a call and was able to speak to Barry about the service I was interested in. A single story home I can handle, but two stories should be handled by professionals. Barry was friendly, professional, and very honest in articulating his recommendation. I've dealt with this type of service a few times, so I had a good handle on what would be deemed a reasonable rate/price. Barry quoted me a competitive price over the phone, and we agreed on having one of his employees proceed to my residence right after lunch. John called me prior to arrival, and showed up within the time frame we discussed. He was professional, and just a good dude! He noticed that my solar panels were heavily soiled, and mentioned that they also offer solar panel cleaning for their customers. The team did a great job and got it to pass inspection flawlessly and quickly. Thankfully, this new composite shingle roof is likely to last my lifetime but I am so impressed by Jesse and his team, that if I had any other roofs to replace or repair, I would happily give him a call. The integrity comes from both the literal performance of the new roof with whisper silent vents during loud windstorms, absence of leaking during rainstorms, but also the way that Peninsula Roofing conducts business. I received a detailed and very competitive estimate. Once work started, we were able to save money on things that we discovered were unnecessary and when other problems arose, and I was at the mercy of the roofing company, the added costs were very reasonable. The quality of work was great and actually came under the original estimate based upon two items being skipped and only one thing being added. He was right. See for yourself in the pics. Dan showed me the de-inoizer he uses to clean the outside windows that prevent mineral deposits once water dries. Awesome! He also used a scraper to get out muck that was resistant to wiping off with water and scrubbing. I'm blown away by how much better my sunsets and ocean view are and I'd even say grateful. The guys at Big City Softwash are conscientious workers who are proud of the excellent work they do.
