Look up his arrest records in Missouri.....he was arrested and served jail time as recent as a few months ago for severely beating his baby mother and also put her in the hospital. Took off work for 1/2 the day and the plumber never showed up. Was scheduled between 12 - 5 pm. Called about 3 pm to make sure was on schedule, could only leave message. Did not receive a call back. Called again at 4:30 pm and got a person who told me I was on the schedule but the plumber was running late and would be closer to 6 pm but I was his next stop. It is now 8:35 pm and no one showed up or even called to let me know what was going on. read more

The very next day a rep was at my house providing me advice as to what needed to be done. I was able to schedule repairs the next business day. Initially, I called on this company because of the outstanding ratings. However, after they came out on the initial emergency call, their contractor snaked the pipe from outside our house which is also where we run our business from. He stated the pipe was broke and needed to be replaced and that was it. I paid them $405.00 for emergency service and that was all we got. I ended up having to have my brother in law come over and snake it for us and we eventually got relief after like two days of draining water from the inside of the basement pipe where it flows to outside. I set up for Flow King to come and fix the issue but they couldn't come on the scheduled date due to rain. The next scheduled time was due to me having to leave town for a family emergency. In the meantime, another vendor came over took a look as well and discovered that it was a piece of pipe that was lodged inside the actual pipe that caused the back up. I had given Flow King a deposit in good faith of $2,202.28 and when I called and spoke with Savio about not going through with his company, he stated he was going to take an additional $400 from my deposit for pulling permits and cancellations etc. I tried to reason with him but he kept talking over me. I would listen to him talk for minutes but the minute I started to talk he would rudely interrupt me and not hear my side and this went on for 30 minutes. I ultimately hung up and called my credit card company for resolve. This story goes on and it's not done yet as far as me getting my 2k back for work that was not performed, no signed contract etc. I tried to talk to Salvio again about this and again, he was rude, accusing me of taking money from his business etc. This person has over $2000.00 of my money that he did not deserve and he lied about pulling permits from City Hall to do work here and several other lies this company put together to tell the credit card company. He called me, a consumer a liar!!!!! Beware when using them and get second opinions before you allow them to do work on your property is my advice. For those who had great experiences, I hope they weren't blindly ripped for lack of understanding their issue. This is NOT OVER!!!!! read more

If you need a professional, Silvio is the man for the job. Silvio initially came in to diagnose and fix a leaky shower drain, and ended up discovering that all of the plumbing for our 2 upstairs bathrooms was done incorrectly. At several points during the investigation, Silvio stopped to explain to me what he was seeing, and why it was a problem. He also discussed potential "simple" fixes that some plumbers may try that would not fully solve the problem. In the end Silvio and his team spent the better part of two days ripping out and then rebuilding the drain plumbing for our bathrooms. I appreciate the time and thought they put into the work, the quick turnaround, and the extent to which they value getting to job done right. Will definitely be calling Silvio for any future plumbing needs around St Louis, but I think this house is good to go now! read more

Nice guy but quote for water heater install was WAY, WAY too high. Another company was there to start work on my job in less than 30 minutes and for just over 1/3 of their price. Said that shutoff valve had to also be replaced (more money) because if it didn't match the date of the water heater that it would void the warranty. I don't know if this is true or not and sounds like an up-sell, but I had the other COMPANY replace it as well and still was only just over 1/3 of their price. (Update: Note the $700 referenced in his reply to my review was for labor only.) (Update 8/26/19: I don't appreciate the lies he added to his reply to my original review. The tech arrived an hour late and quoted an estimate was well over twice what the next master plumber gave for the exact same work. It was shocking. Called their 24 hour line around 10:30PM. They advised someone could be here between 8AM and 9AM the next morning. Received text by 7:30AM advising Scott would be arriving shortly. The text included a photo and short bio for the tech. Scott wore a mask, was super friendly and willing to give us some tips to prevent other typical household plumbing issues. Simple issue resolved in less than an hour. I put too many cooked egg noodles down garbage disposal. Food made it past main sink pipe but the pipe in basement was clogged. 51 year old pipes. Scott went into basement with his tools/machine and cleared the line in no time. Will definitely use their service in the future if needed. read more

I had a clogged kitchen sink and called this business. They never responded to my 3 voice messages I left over a 2 day period. I reached out to Academy Air due to a recommendation made to me by a neighbor. They came, snaked the drain and left a half hour later. Excellent work in every respect. The best thing about them vs Flow King is the fact they respond. Flow King must be swamped with business. They will not be getting any from me in the future. The reason I give two stars is because I had two dealings with this company. The first was great the second, not so much. Had to replace some pipes to a sink in my basement bathroom in November. Made the appointment days ahead and they sent out a Tech named Scott for estimating and actual work. They even texted me his pic and a short Bio, I liked that. Scott was professional and did a great job very quickly so those two stars are for Scott the tech. I like what I saw so, this month, when the toilet in same bathroom was draining slowly I knew my main trap was getting clogged and I should get someone out. I called Flow King again and made appointment for 3 days from time I called, they gave me cable repairman hours, 9am to 1pm window and then never showed up! Got a garbled voicemail around noon that I could not hear, tried calling back several times but straight to voicemail. So much for 24/7 service. I get it, more people are home and more work for home utility repairmen as a result but, I called and an appointment time was set days ahead! Had to get someone else to show up the next morning from national chain that I know was super expensive because, by that time water was coming up basement drain. BTW it has been two days since appointment and Flow King had the nerve to call now to ask if I want to reschedule, unbelievable! If you are not consistent in quality of service you will not be around too much longer. read more

We chose Flow King Rooter based on location & on web reviews, and we were very pleased with the friendliness & professionalism of the owners and the plumber they dispatched. The office called ahead to advise on arrival time, and the plumber arrived as scheduled. He diagnosed our problem, and even checked our garbage disposal for function to relieve another concern we had. Since he was working on the sink connections, my wife asked him to replace the old kitchen faucet set with a specific brand & style. Once he confirmed availability & provided an estimate for the part and installation (reasonable prices based on previous plumbing work at our old house), my wife approved the work & the owner picked up and delivered the faucet set. The whole job was completed in just a couple of hours, and the work area was left clean. We would recommend Flow King Rooter for residential plumbing work. read more

So I'll start this review out as the people are nice but some of the services they offer they should not be aloud to do. They came out and did a sewer inspection on a house I ended up buying. That part was fine. The problem starts where we have a grinder pump lift system. Which they inspected with the sewer inspection. Yes they did charge extra for this & they don't do a thorough inspection. They don't lift the pump up & inspect it. They just say it works & everything looks good. Answered some questions acted like they knew what they were talking about. Made me feel ok about buying the house. Cause I was hesitant over it cause of this pump. Well 2 months after buying the house. The grinder pump goes out. We called this company during normal business hours & they were very nice. Said someone would call us around 6pm. Well no one called us back. We called back on the emergency 24 hourline & kept getting an answering machine. They didn't call me back until 2pm the next business day. Which wow that's some kind of emergency service. Wait almost 24hours to get a call back. They did blame it on the weather cause there was a little snow storm in the area. But with technology calls can be forwarded. So when someone did call us back. They offered to send someone over but by this time we had another company coming over to look at it. Come to find out if it was simple they could fix it. But since this would have been too big of a job they would have referred the job to a different company. Which we ended up going with. So after a 4200$ repair. I would say don't use this company for a grinder pump lift system inspection. Let a company who specialize in these pump systems do the inspection. Companies who will do an inspection on a complicated system like this & don't do them thoroughly should be held responsible but don't cause they cover their asses on the paper you sign after the inspection is done. So basically don't use this company to inspect lift system. Everything else I can't say. Don't buy a home with a grinder pump lift system unless someone else is responsible to fix it like the sewer company or the subdivision. Or you will be out 4 to 8000$ when it's time to replace it. It will need to be replaced eventually. (My reply to the owner.) It was not a major snow storm. I had drivers out in St. Peters area & they had no problem getting around. & in Maryland heights where your office is. There was barely any snow on the ground. Just like a business owner to lie to protect your collective ass. Btw we didn't flush any or put any foreign debris in our sewer drains. We were only in the house for 2 months. It's funny that your company looks at it in a half ass manor & says it's ok. But the 3 other companies we had out here said it looked like shit. Would have told us not to even buy the house with one of these systems. Especially on how crappy the grinder pump we had looked & that was b4 anybody pulled it out of the well. So get your facts straight. Your company should never had the right to inspect these systems. If you are not going to do a thorough job at it. Those other 3 companies as soon as they popped the lid could see 3 problems with the system. So yes lesson learned on my part. I'm not the type of person to leave a bad review just for any reason. So that just lets anybody know I wouldn't even wasted my time with this but, as an average hard working man. I felt wronged by this company & just wanted to speak my peace. So now I wouldn't suggest anybody to use this company for anything after the owners reply. read more
