Well now, where do I begin? This dentist is in my network and I primarily chose it because of the…read morereviews on the different sites. But what I didn't realize was that the reviews are years old. Nonetheless, I thought I was scheduled with Dr. Vacarean, the prosthodontist, but instead, I was scheduled with the general dentist, Dr. Young, for a cracked tooth. After figuring all  that out when I got there, it just went downhill. I decided to see the general dentist because I was already there and the front desk convinced me that he was very good, with all of this experience. Dr. Young and his hygienist said they did NOT see any cracks on my x-ray (from my regular dentist). However, he was very proud to note that he saw plaque and questioned the last time I had my teeth cleaned. (It had been 6 WEEKS, and I go twice a year religiously). He was a bit arrogant. He then said that I did NOT have a cracked tooth and that if I did, I'd have constant pain and couldn't take it. Well, he is WRONG!! This isn't my first cracked tooth and like before, I had pain sporadically. I know my mouth. He advised that I get a 2nd opinion from Dr. Vacarean. I set the appointment, then canceled because I didn't want any parts of that arrogance and wrong diagnosis. Good luck to anyone that chooses to go there!

The work the dental technicians at Trail Creek do is fine. I've had no complaints there. However, when it comes to their administrative staff I am absolutely finshed with them. They've messed up the schedule on my last two cleanings. They messed up the schedule on my wife's last cleaning and were very rude to her. To the point the lady at the desk wouldn't talk to my wife and walked away. Then they snuck in a $50 missed appointment fee for "my" missed appointment on her bill and didn't tell her they were doing it!! When I called and discussed it with them, there were no management around to discuss it. I gave them a chance at making this right and I will not be back. Don't write trite response just to save face. Just another bad Dentist.

Appointment can be at 2pm and you're not going to back until like 15-20 minutes later with long wait times in the chair afterwards. Alright, so... This…read morereview is based on the billing, nothing more or less. As I reviewed below, the customer service, the cleanliness, and the staff are all wonderful. The care they put into their patients seems genuine, just as the type of care; or maybe that's where it gets questionable. With what I'm here to share, it may sound as if, I'm contradicting myself. Now, billing. I'll say this, now. I'm very grateful I understand medical billing, even with this being dental; some things follow suit. On: 10-28-2023 - They took over my treatment (my braces were already on, I moved and needed to find a new Orthodontist) X-rays were taken at the same time. Nothing needed to be corrected or changed, I picked up from where I left off. Meaning, that being charged for services as if I was starting as a brand-new patient, wasn't necessary. 06-2024: My braces came off - I had a full cleaning. At that time, they wanted to do another complete set of X-rays. I mentioned, that I had them done in October of 23, and the insurance will not cover another set within the same year. They said that would not be a problem and if so, they'll take care of it at that time. I will have to deal with that on my own, I should have asked for that in writing and I didn't. Needless to say, the insurance did not cover those sets of X-rays. I was also, looking at what was submitted to the insurance and what was billable/paid. From the dates above 10/28/23 - 06/20/24: They billed my insurance a total of $9,094. $76 - Oral Hygiene Instructions: This is something I was billed for, but I'm a grown adult, I know how to take care of my teeth and should not have been billed for this. My insurance did not cover this and I will not, either. $22 - Flouride: This is something I get once a year and will pay for out of pocket, but this is something I was not told would not be covered by the insurance. However, I already knew this. I am faithful to getting my teeth cleaned every six months, with my prior dentist, I've never had this issue. I always knew what my costs were before my cleaning and my costs were only for my, fluoride. If you choose to visit this office, I'd suggest you get the procedure codes for what will be done, YOU, call your dental provider and get the coverage information for those codes. When it comes to Orthodontics, I would suggest you look elsewhere. Again, their staff is wonderful, and the customer service is excellent; but when my money is being mishandled, that cancels out everything else.

It wasn't until we arrived at the appointment this week that we were informed of an EXCESSIVE price increase in their membership fee from $300 annually to $400 annually for each (3) family member (no discount offered for multiple family members). The office staff informed us that the new plan price includes a 3rd office visit. Who goes to the dentist for a cleaning 3x a year? Every 6 months is sufficient. We cancelled this appointment and two other future appointments. Our family changed to another dentist in the area with a reasonable membership plan. My X-rays and cleaning were done thoroughly, and while they offered some extra options, it never felt pushy like I've experienced at other offices. Kammy took care of me from X-rays to cleaning and was fantastic, friendly, and professional, making the experience very comfortable. Kelly West was very informative and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. Communication overall was excellent. Highly recommend this office if you are looking for a dentist that values your time, gives you all the information you need, and makes you feel at ease. Will be bringing my whole family here.

I paid the other dentist office I visited that day out of pocket. I could've done the same with them but that's what being prejudice gets you.... Loss of business and a bad review! Definitely WOULD NOT recommend them!! Only gave them one star because you can't give zero or negative stars.

I submitted my insurance information on July 13 to determine what treatment would be covered. After waiting without any response, I sent a courteous follow-up. The office requested my date of birth, which I immediately provided, yet I still never received an answer to my original question. I don't expect instant results, but I do expect communication. A simple email explaining that verification was still pending would have been sufficient. Instead, I was left to repeatedly follow up while having already shared personal information. That experience did not inspire confidence in the office's communication or administrative processes, and it makes me question how responsive it would be once I became a patient.
