My Mach-E was delivered missing a few options, supposedly due to the chip shortage. Most important missing item was a power lift gate. I solved that problem by buying an aftermarket one. I visited and called a few shops and they were all scared to take on the installation. One of the shop managers told me to try Florida Sound & Protection as they would have the know how to install the power lift gate. Sure enough! Even though they had never installed a power lift gate before, Ronald and his crew were not intimated by it. A few hours later, the lift gate is operating and works better than factory! 1 visit to this location after being recommended to it by others. Before visiting, I called and explained the problem I was having with my double din radio and they told me to head over they will look at it right away.The radio stopped working but when you move the radio a bit it tends to turn back on so to me it seemed like a loose cable. The young man at the front counter explained there would be a charge to diagnose the radio and if there is any issue they can fix they will in that cost, but anything more would be extra. I was fine with it and up to now everything was great. I know cars very well but did not have the proper tools to remove the radio myself and was in a hurry so I brought it to them. 20 minutes into the process the technician comes in and tells me he fixed the problem, while a gentleman by the name of Luis behind the counter kept asking the tech, "you reset it right?", and the tech finally said "yes i reset it". I know they did not reset the radio like they said, because the radio stil had my saved radio stations and all my bluetooth and speaker setting the same. Luis then mentions the radio is about to give up on me and I should think of getting a new one, so I asked him for a quote. There was a huge difference in the price of a new one compared to what it cost to fix so I mentioned i will stay with mine until its last day. Luis went to charge me and said they have to charge me the full hour of labor since they had to remove my whole dashboard to get the radio out, which is a complete lie and their work only took 30 minutes from the moment they drove the car to the back to where they brought it back to the front. Later in the day I decided to shop around for prices and the same radio they were trying to sell me, I found at a large local retailer for $400 LESS than what they were trying to sell one to me for. read more

The people were nice when it came to me paying them to do their job. I had an interlock system installed yesterday by them, I got it in at 1:30pm and was done by 4:30pm (9-6 they are open until) I had got there before 6 to pick my car up since I had walked to the gym while it was getting installed. Got told how it works and was on my way. I had an overnight shift that night and my car wouldn't start the interlock wouldn't even turn on. So I got my car jumped and had to do the same thing when I wanted to go home. I replaced my battery 2-3 months ago so why would it be that?! Fast forward to today I can't turn on the interlock again so I called the wonderful place that installed my interlock, here I was told that I had a bad battery over the phone by the white male with glasses at the front desk. Meanwhile before I left the day before you couldn't have told me my battery was needing assistance so I could have fixed it and I wouldn't have had any problem or they should have called me and told me just like they called me multiple times to let me know my car was done but they did not. Then I get transferred to the CEO just to have him tell me the same thing and they cant do anything about it, when I got a life and things I need to do and that's all you have to say - no human decency. Trash of a place, irresponsible, unethical, money hungry people work there and I highly recommend going elsewhere because if they mess up on there end they don't care and continue to do so to other people. read more

update after luis r replied ever so professionally 6 months later 8/31/17: i didn't misunderstand the price at all. perhaps your employee did. the nissan was cheaper bc the quality of the tint i was offered was below the grade supposedly of the 3m tint i chose for the truck. also, lets try and use common sense for a second here, if the truck is only getting the front two windows tinted plus the strip ($10) wouldn't that translate to using less material, less time as well as less effort to complete thejob as i was told and as was proven by how fast the truck took compared to the sedan??? therefore that would tell me that the sedan would logically cost more & even more of a reason i did not go for 3m on the car. thanks. how could this have been resolved when i spent nearly 5 hours at this establishment including the time going back and forth about the price at the end...just to have nothing resolved then?!?!? what, are you upset about my truthfully accurate review of this "business"? to suggest that the customer is lying about watching this guy fill in the prices where israel did not further shows why this place is a shady practice. israel absolutely did not write in the prices on the invoice in front of me so much so i said something about it to my bf when i walked outside!!! so much so that i waited there at least another 30min to have this fool fumble around his computer screen pretending he couldn't access the recording to back up the tapes from the morning to prove the prices were left off!!! how about this? a good place conducting solid business would have customers sign off prior to work being done so this issue wouldn't be an issue. your welcome. thank you for replying nearly 7 months after the fact and blaming the issue on the customer's "misunderstanding". i suppose i misunderstood the fact that the tinits to this day are still bubbly and my vehicles were to be left filthy upon completion upon half-assed work. really indicative of how this place is managed. i hope my review has deterred at least one potential customer from spending their money with your shady establishment. should anyone reading this review need an actual good place pm me and i'll send you a reputable establishment. read more

BEWARE!!! This place is a scam! Had my windows tinted on my brand new vehicle a year ago. Only to have the tints start bubbling. Contacted the shop spoke with "Manny" who initially seemed professional. He offered to redue the tints since it was under warranty. After Ii brought in my vehicle and had the tints replaced they ruined my car starter and stated it was a manufacturing defect that Mercedes has if you leave the doors open for two hours!!!! When Ii asked Manny why he didn't disclose that fixing my tints would cost me over $500 in repairs and 2 days worth of headache, he started yelling at me stating it's not his responsibility! Absolutely appalled and disgusted in the lack of communication lack of customer service! If you have $ to throw out the window or time to loose then choose this location, otherwise STAY AWAY! Then I went back to the business and explained the problem to Manny, the manager, who is a great person. He told me that his works were guaranteed for life.
