I was put on hold for 11 minutes, then I was disconnected. No problem I'd spent the time enjoyably looking at colors for various rooms. I called back was put on hold, then disconnected. I called again and was hung up on. I called back - I REALLY wanted Sherman Williams paint for our new home - I was hung up on. We have used Sherman Williams paint for 40 years, we liked the quality. Not for this home. If they have so many customers they can disconnect them or hang up on them rather than answer a simple question it is time to google a replacement quality paint brand rather than follow our long tradition out of loyalty to a brand.

We even took it to have one of the guys put in the string thinking we were doing something wrong. After taking it back home, as soon as he starts it, the strings come out. He then went to return the failed weed wacker and they would not refund us because they said there was gas in it. Really?? How else were we to test it? With no gas? Outrageous!! I believe his name was Anthony. I thanked him and then about a week later I went back in with a picture of the colors I was looking for. Anthony said (with his head shaking and eyes rolling) you brought a picture? It was a very condescending tone. I said yes. I then received a 5 minute lecture on the color depends on this, that, and the other thing. I thanked him and told hIm I would find the colors myself. When I got over to the color swatches and walked out the door. I then called the store on Cattleman and spoke to a girl named Hannah who invited me to stop by her store, which I did and she helped me find the colors that closely matched what I was looking for without making me feel like a stupid woman!

It's so cute in there and there are so many wonderful things to see and purchase. I could have spent hours there exploring everything. I love anything international especially an area of the world I haven't visited. I loved all the runners. They were all so cute and colorful with beautiful patterns. I wanted them all but sadly had a small suitcase. I also loved anything Christmas they had. I have a wooden village and found some cute things to put in it. I especially love this cute little wooden tree that fits in perfectly with what I have. My mom and I also got some delicious chocolates. She got two 70% cacao bars for her and my husband. I got delicious little chocolate praline Santas for us to all share. We were too late to get a Kringle since most were sold out and my husband's family is picky. They have 15 different flavors that I'd like to try sometime. They're so good. I've had them before. I also loved all the wooden dolls, straw horses and local food stuffs. Such a cute store! Sadly, my Leaders experience could have been far better. I purchased a 48" round table for my…read morelanai. I opted for Leaders $149 delivery to my home. When the table arrived, it was accompanied by two young men that obviously were not trained properly. The deliverymen couldn't even figure out how to get the table through my front door. After watching them take a chunk out of my front door jamb as well as visibly scratch the 4th plank of the (previously undamaged) table. I had to verbally direct them as to how to lift and tilt the table through the door. Unfortunately, this is where things go even further sideways. Soon after letting Leaders know what transpired, two men were dispatched to my house to "repair" my door. The lead fellow claimed that he could sand the damage down and repaint the area. He did admit that matching the paint would be a challenge. These men were not carpenters, but rather more like damage control reps. Neither to my knowledge had any professional carpentry licensing or authority to represent themselves as such. Like anyone else, I was very reluctant to have them touch my door and make matters even worse. I later received an email from a Mr. Tim Newton, President of Leaders who apologized and offered me my $149 delivery fee refunded to conclude this matter or Leaders could pick the table up and refund my purchase price. In order to simply move on and not incur even more damage to my home while removing the table, I conveyed that I would be willing to move on from what had become a very stressful situation. I stated that I would accept $500 for the damage to my door and the scratch on my brand new table. This was beyond reasonable. Mr. Newton refused my offer and reiterated that $149 would be all that he would offer. Let me state clearly that all I wanted was that my brand new table arrive undamaged AND that my home remain also remain undamaged during delivery. That's all I wanted. Buy the furniture, have it delivered, and enjoy it. Through no fault of my own, this is not what happened. To top this whole debacle off, Leader's unprofessional handing of this matter was absolutely atrocious. I will think twice before ever doing any further business with Leaders Furniture of Sarasota. I would strongly recommend that you do the same.

Found a Vegas T-shirt with the original Vegas sign on the front of it the shirt. T-shirt was very soft material. Really really reasonably priced. Bought it! While in the store the owner gave a little trivia about a deck of cards and the area and also had a sign that said "Lumos Maxima" it is a spell in Harry Potter. Their store creates conversations. Love it! That was a plus. Very organized, well designed and colorful and fun store to go experience.
