We arrived at approximately 9 p.m., and from the moment we pulled up in front of the ER, we felt welcomed and cared for. Tiffany, a pharmacy technician, greeted us with a wheelchair. She was kind, compassionate, and efficient as she helped my husband out of the car. While I parked our car, she stayed with my husband and assisted him with the check-in process and escorted us to his room. The triage and nursing staff were prompt, attentive, and genuinely empathetic. His nurse, Steven, explained every step of the process, which helped calm my husband's nerves and made him feel safe and comfortable in his care. Steven listened carefully to my husband's concerns and took the time to listen to me as well. Although the emergency room was busy, the entire staff worked seamlessly together to ensure my husband was comfortable and well cared for. Everyone treated us with kindness and professionalism, and we truly appreciated the teamwork and compassion shown throughout the visit. Even the discharge process was smooth and straightforward, with clear instructions provided to both my husband and me. We were incredibly fortunate to have such dedicated personnel such as Tiffany and Steven caring for us at St. Joseph's South. Their compassion and professionalism made a stressful situation much easier. We are so glad St. Joseph's South Hospital opened in Riverview, and we are grateful to have this wonderful resource in our community.

A disappointing and painful experience. The triage evaluation staff member wrote "Rash" on the intake sheet, delaying my being seen. When I finally saw one of the doctors, he took my finger between his fingers with both hands and squeezed very hard, causing pain of which I made him aware and he continued squeezing an already very sensitive and painful area. Less than compassionate and effectively causing more pain than I went in with, the result was not at all helpful. I ultimately had to see another doctor asap outside of this ED and received the attentive, professional and much needed care that should have been provided by this Emergency Department. Will avoid this ED if possible moving forward.

There were SEVERAL instances of their unbelievable behavior...here is one from my letter of complaint to John Couris, president of Tampa General Hospital: "I will NEVER understand why you and your staff treated me the way you did. I did NOTHING wrong...I am happy to share what happened to me in reviews. I went to their clinic in Sun City Center...and that turned out to be a massive nightmare. I'm 65 right now and have never...NEVER met people as inept and rude as the staff that runs this place. It is almost funny it is so bad...but when you are on the receiving end of their nastiness...it is really ugly. Here is just ONE event I endured with these people. 1) My appointment with Dr. Lamielle was for 1 PM 2) I arrived at 12:45, checked-in, told to take a seat (usual stuff) 3) Soon, it is after 2PM so I walk up to the next open window to ask how much longer. 4) The girl says to me "Oh! You are really late!!" 5) I said no, I had been waiting since 12:45. 6) This office manager walks up and points out where I had indeed been checked in. 7) The girl said I missed my appointment but could come back in 6 weeks. (No, I am not kidding...they both told me that.) I was so angry, I just walked away but not before I asked how on earth could I have missed my appointment when I was there, on time and waiting. She told me the doctor did not have time to see me now, but I could come back in 6 weeks. UNBELIEVABLE!!!" To add to this lunacy, the doctor actually called me at home, a few days later, at 9PM at night (yep, that late at night) and told me he actually wasn't even in the clinic that day. So...ummmmm...wait a minute here! What the hell is going on? You lied? They lied? Why was I asked to even be there!?!?!? Hopefully, this clinic will shut down or, learn how to deal with patients in an appropriate manner instead of doing what they did to me. They are unprofessional, rude, and clearly incompetent. The scheduling is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to call the morning of to get My appointment time and realized it was at almost 2pm. I hadn't ate for almost 24 hours by the time I got home after procedure. I literally could have went to work, but had to use my PTO for the day where I was laying around hungry and couldn't drink anything. I've been here before, but they had a time and scheduling was better. I will probably look for somewhere else next year.

I was at the point of getting surgery but decided to come here first to see if maybe getting adjustments/alignments could help me. Dr. Mark was my initial chiropractor and he was very caring, thoughtful, and informative about what he's doing, where he's adjusting, and the process of the what he thought was the best treatment. He recommended Dr. Thomas! Dr. Thomas is also a chiropractor however he specializes in muscle tissue breakdown - longer story even short, Dr. Thomas has relieved damn near all the pain and inflammation I had/felt in my legs and feet. I went from this being my last resort and going to surgery to visiting Dr. Thomas every so often or when I feel my legs starting to get tense on me. The pain that I had compared to where I'm at now is night and day. I went from having to always have shoes on even to walk around my house to being comfortable in sandals and flip flops for HOURS without ANY pains in the slightest. I'm very grateful to have found this practice and the amazing individuals who work here as well. The entire staff is very friendly, engaging, and they certainly make you feel like you're important.
