Wasn't really a wait time, I was greeted and I then told them I wanted a full set. He told me to sign in and I sat and then he called me right back. The first picture is of what I wanted and all the others are of what I got. I started to read a book on my phone so I would take my hands from under the light to swipe the pages. This was the first time going to this place and it will be my last. The staff seems to be inexperienced but very friendly. I got a pedicure that I had to ask three times for the message to be done. My tech was just rubbing the products lightly on my legs. She didn't cute my cuticles either. I asked for squared nails and she did it for some and others she didn't. My friend and I went in for two full sets they were very quick and accomadating but both of our nails are so crooked and hers are blotchy she could have used 1-2 more coats they didn't even apply oil to my cuticles (I've never had a manicure and not had oil put on my cuticles) she also didn't put lotion on my hands I had to ask she filed my finger untill I was bleeding! I have been coming here for over 4 years. The staff is friendly and for awhile the service was pretty good. Lately the service is hit and miss. Sometimes the technician will do a great job and give a good massage and sometimes you barely get a 30 second rub. This last time my toenails were barely trimmed and the cuticles weren't even cleaned up. The polish job looked bad because hardly any was applied. There was hardly any top coat used so the polish started chipping the next day. And I have a little hang nail that should have been trimmed but was just polished over. I paid extra for a scrub to remove dead skin but the lady barely applied the scrub. I always leave a great tip because I know they work long hours. $10 on $35 service. It doesn't seem to make a difference anymore so I will find another place to go. Done with this place. read more

Second time going here and both times have had a bad experience. First I upgraded my pedicure which states 45min. The whole process took 20 minutes and while they are supposed to massage your calves she only slapped them for a minute, then put scalding hot towels which almost burnt me. My daughter was getting a full set and asked for black nail polish. she is a shy teenager and I feel they took advantage of her. When I went to go pay they charged me an extra $10 for gel even though she did not ask for gel. So when I explained this the guy said okay go sit down we will take it off . I went yesterday and someone new did my eyebrows she took a chunk out of the end of just one! I'm so upset! This is the second time I've been here. For convenience sake I came back because it's so very close to where I live. Last time the guy that did my pedicure cut me by my nail/cuticle on one big toe, being too rough and over cutting. It bled and had a red spot, took a while to heal. I don't know why I got lazy today and decided to give them another chance. Got another guy doing my nails and he just shaved my heel with that rough pumice stone thing and drew blood. It's not a huge place but it bled and it burns. And when I reacted to the pain he just kept pushing my foot down in the water. He's already painting my nails and knows I'm mad and it must still be red or bleeding because he keeps turning my foot to look at it. I'm not mad that this is the fastest pedi ever because I want to leave as bad as he wants me gone. Let me say too that I don't have particularly fragile skin nor do I have thick callouses, he was just scrubbing my feet with that scrubber too hard like he was cleaning a dirty sink. Not necessary, they need to be more careful, pedicures are supposed to be relaxing, not painful and there should not be any blood involved. Ridiculous. Never again. Next day: Where he scraped me is painful and oozing. I woke up a few times in the night because it hurt when my foot rubbed against the bed sheets. I usually only do positive reviews if I review a business but this is a well deserved poor review. I wish I could give it them zero stars. read more

One lady F my feet up! I had two toes with skin scraped off and big toe nails cut way too short. I was distracted when getting my pedicure otherwise I wouldn't have let it happen! I will not be going back and this place made me feel like I need to stay at home and do my own gel pedicures! A week later I had a swollen left foot where the scrapes were. I came here to get my nails done and just polish on my toes. I spent 65$ on my nails and 10$ on my toes. I got gel nail on both so it would last longer which normally lasted 3 weeks before I would need a fill in or before they would start coming up. After week one I noticed my ring finger on my left hand was in a lot of pain I wanted to cry then I noticed the nail was coming up which pissed me off the pain in my finger kept getting worst so I decided to take my nails off and found out my real nail had split in half I have never had this happen to me so this place gets one star! read more

Let me start off by saying, I never leave bad reviews because I know that it can make or break a business, but for Florida Nails, I'm willing to make an exception. From the moment we walked in, my two friends and I, were extremely rushed. One woman, who I assumed was the manager/owner, was very pushy for us to pick a color with zero direction on what colors were dip, gel, or regular polish. The lady who did my mani/pedi, cut my toenail too short, misshapen, and obviously wasn't aware what the shape of a square is supposed to look like. I had to ask the lady to repaint my nails multiple times before finally relenting and saying that everything looked fine just so I could leave. All of our nails were filed unevenly and left with paint around the nail bed. Normally, paying 45 (my friends paid 60) at the end of getting our nails done is something I have grown accustomed too but for this experience I was livid. They weren't worth my time or money! They were ready to get us out of there and made no attempt to show otherwise. I will never return to this location. If you want a nice, relaxing place to get your nails done, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you want rushed, disorganized, and poor quality service then this is your spot. read more

Do I decided to give this one a try first time I went there was about 2-3 weeks ago to get a fill, which a guy named Key did, very quick he did a good job over all although shaping is not his strong suit. Quickness can be good and bad because he was in such a hurry to get me in and out I didnt get a chance to choose a color nor did he offer he just did clear he offered a gel top coat for $5 more I agreed. Today I go in for a full set and Kayla starts giving me all the gel colors I said I just wanted polish and she got an attitude she did my nails and started off bad she put tips that were too big and barely glued them down she then started pushing me to do gel again $40 i said no thank u but I would do the gel top coat for the $5 extra she said no it has to be all or nothing. Umm ok well she paints my nails very badly she did just the center I had to ask her to please do the sides I hate doing that bc everyone should know their job but ok I had to speak she did but again not very well and with an attitude. After sitting for 20min for my nails to try I go home no problem when all of sudden I look down at my nail and notice one of the tips doesnt have acrylic on the edge so it had bent and obviously ruined the polish so I called and they said no problem we will fix I go and they push me to the side after waiting 25min with my 3 kids he finally brings me over and says o u ruined your polish I tell him like 4 times it's not just the polish it's the tip that has no acrylic and its bent plus 3 of my nails are lifting since they weren't glued right due to poor sizing he adds glue to the back of my nails and files the tip of the ruined one and repainted I tell him it's not just the polish and he says it's fine I had to get up and walk out I was so frustrated and felt so horrible I must admit I even cried in the car from frustration horrible experience will never go back. Just lost what could have been a loyal customer I know the job is to get people in and out cause it produces more profit but a little customer service skill goes a long way. read more

I have been a loyal customer to this nail salon for over 7 1/2 years. Whenever I pay my money for a service, I expect my nails and feet to be done right. Especially by "experienced" staff. The last time I went to this nail shop, the owner, Raymond's, 80 plus year old aunt was doing my pedicure. Mind you, it took her almost an hour to finish the pedicure and when she polished my toes, the polished looked like a child had polished my toes. I brought this to the attention of Raymond and advised him that I was not pleased with the way my toes looked. Mind you, I joked with them before, but when it comes to me having to pay my money, I expect for the service to be correct. Raymond tried to correct to the best of his ability. Fast forward 2 1/2 weeks later. I usually make an appointment to get both my nails and toes done on the same day to avoid the wait. Well, I called on several occasions from both my personal and work phone. They would not answer my call. It wasn't until I called from another phone that "Kayla" answered the phone. I asked her why they wouldn't answer my calls when I called several times before and she claimed that her phone wasn't working and it didn't ring. Mind you, I hung up and immediately called from a different number. I informed her that I wanted to schedule an appointment to have my nails done, Raymond is the only one that I allow to do my nails, and Kayla claimed that Raymond was not doing nails and she didn't know when she would be back. I proceeded to request an appointment to get a pedicure and requested that the 80 year old aunt not do my pedicure. Kayla stated that because I complained about my pedicure service, no one wanted to do my pedicure. I am very tentative to service I am paying for. My big toes were both infected due to cross contamination from non-sterilized utensils, so yes, I always inquire about the utensils being used. As a loyal paying customer, for almost 8 years, I have seen workers come and go. If a loyal paying customer has a legitimate complaint/concern, as a business owner, one would try to ensure that customer is taken care of. Not to mention, I have referred, NUMEROUS, ladies to this nail shop. However, after what I have experienced and been treated, I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to Florida Nails again!!! And I can and will take my money elsewhere! Where businesses know how to treat their loyal customer(s)! read more
