My sister was Catholic (my mother was not), so this time we needed a much more detailed, tradition-specific service and planning began right over the Fourth of July weekend, which made everything harder from the start. Suzanne, Matt, and their team never once made me feel like anything was too much to ask. They helped fill in gaps the church couldn't cover, helped us plan a rosary hour at the wake, and handled every detail with real care. Even something as small as picking up my sister's ashes was made to feel heartfelt rather than transactional. Having now worked with them for both a non-Catholic and a Catholic service, I've seen firsthand how knowledgeable and adaptable they are across different religions and customs, they never made either experience feel like a one-size-fits-all approach. That Mortuary actually set up a room and a real casket with flower and all. I was the only family member that was able to go. So it was all for me. However, now that it is owned by some company, the entire process was very "transactional". They even put my husband's ashes in the wrong urn! When I pointed it out to them, they said they would change it and it would be ready 3 days later. They called to tell me I could come pick it up and I told them it was their mistake and that they should bring it to me, which they did. None of that should ever have happened in the first place. That's what happens when you have to order from a catalogue. I guess. When my son and I first went in, no mention was made of an obituary and you cannot get a person on the phone when you call...just an answering service. My best advice? Stay away from Beckman-Williamson and any other funeral homes in Brevard County now owned by this company!

My family and I trusted this funeral home with my late father, they returned him to us in a damaged…read morescattering urn (see the large dent on the inside and the gap that allowed the ashes to escape) that resulted in some of the ashes spilling around my kitchen. Upon calling back to inform them what happened, June ultimately blamed us for this experience, explaining that they would never sell a damaged product and not apologizing once. On the phone, the funeral director Harvey said he witnessed the cremains being put into a sealed bag and an intact urn, and picked up yesterday. The ashes were not in a bag and were picked up days ago. I would not wish this experience on anyone, nobody should have to pick up the remains of a loved one off the floor due to somebody's negligence.

We did not know how it would work because my parents have moved a few times since. The hospice nurse who came the morning my Dad passed called and dealt with Jeff. Jeff is a funeral director at this funeral home. He called me and was so very professional and understanding. He arranged from hours away to find a local funeral home to deal with us. He kept in touch with me during the whole process. He even did what he could from there so the funeral home we dealt with didn't have to. The funeral home near by never even called us or confirmed anything just let Jeff do everything. I highly recommend this funeral home, ask to see Jeff he is very knowledgeable and caring. It was great everything was preplanned the only charges that change is the price of death certificates. Jeff was up front and honest about the difference. Thank you Jeff you made the process so much easier in this sad time.
