He also pretended to have his father running the business. We found out there is no father running it. Paul will pretend to be him on the phone. He sounds intoxicated at times. He would say "we" are heading there now but only one guy would show up. My husband called him to ask about adding on a service only to get "are you wanting your lawn cut" 3 times in a row fastly without stopping. I'm not sure what that was about but again he sounded either drunk or on something. My husband interrupted his chant and said we no longer needed his service. Paul stayed on the line and my husband had to just hang up on him. There was no question as to why or response at all. As if it fell upon death ears. We blocked him. We used his service 3 times. We received probably 15 text messages on requesting to cut. One wasn't needed due to drought and cut a week prior but was very persistent and we caved. We hired David Wilkes tree service on June 28 2018 to cut a tree down for $500.00. We agreed and I…read morepaid them cash. My husband and I were going to clean it up and remove it. They also agreed to cut the logs into manageable pieces so we could remove them without equipment. The did cut the tree but left the trunk cut into but not through. It was still whole and many very large logs. So my first problem was they didn't cut the tree up in manageable pieces like we agreed too. They came back on July 27th 2018 to grind the stump away. And did so. I asked if they would finish cutting the logs so we can dispose of them and Michael Wilkes said it would be easier for them to bring their claw truck and pick them up instead of cutting them. So we agreed on a price and I paid them additional money for the stump grinding $75.00 and the pick up of the stuff that wasn't cut up for $50.00, $125.00 total cash. They were supposed to come back before the weekend and They never came back or returned any of my calls. I've left many messages. Today is August 13, 2018 and I'm still waiting. We paid them a total of $625.00 for an incomplete job. Mean while my sod is dying because of the logs that are left.

Yelp connected me with this contractor to repair my irrigation system that had been damaged by a…read morepool installation. The first company quoted $2100 to re-do the system. Mikey came out and said that wasn't necessary, that he would charge $150/hr and could fix it in a couple of hours...6 days (most of which he showed up in the evening and staid until late into the night) and $3,450.00 later, this is what he left me with. He said he would come back and fix it, but after seeing the entirety of what he did, I don't want him back on my property to do more damage and leave more mess. The system not only looks crudely constructed, it doesn't work at all. I had the company installing my sod send their irrigation guy out to assess what would be needed to repair it properly, and yep, the whole job needs to be ripped out and re-done. I requested a full refund of what I paid as I now have to pay again for the labor and parts, but Mikey is unwilling to do that. I am asking Yelp to honor their $2,500 guarantee and will be filing suit in small claims court for the remaining $950. I can't reply to your reply, Michael, but as you are the 'contractor' and the person that did this work, you know that you have been telling me you would be out since July 27th, the day after you finished the work. It is not my job to tell you to come clean up the job site and fix the shoddy job, though I've been requesting such since August 12th.
