I recently delivered here and what an amazing experience I had!…read more From initially pre-registering after our tour, we knew this hospital would be a wonderful fit for my birthing experience! On the tour we were shown the different rooms, got the opportunity to ask a variety of questions and were given a plethora of information, all was extremely helpful! We were told about a variety of prenatal classes HCA offered, and we did take them all! The staff that led them were incredible and we left each class feeling better prepared and more knowledgeable on topics from breastfeeding, newborn care and labor/delivery. We did (unfortunately) get to visit triage a few times through my pregnancy and each time I felt like my care was individualized and I was a priority for them, not just a number. Their triage is small, but they do an amazing job to ensure you and baby are safe! During my labor/delivery experience I had the most incredible care team! My birth preferences were discussed and respected, the nursing staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and safe. There wasn't one thing I would change about my experience, everything was so great! Even afterwards, dealing with billing/insurance (while normally a pain) the HCA representatives I've interacted with have been so pleasant and extremely helpful in solving any issues that came up. The *only* down side to this hospital is that they do not have a NICU on campus, HOWEVER if your baby does need NICU time, they are transferred to Nemours down the road, which has every resource available for baby! Overall I would highly recommend UCF Lake Nona Medical Center to other low risk moms-to-be in the area. The level of care and service was unmatched and truly exceptional!

I was thoroughly impressed with her professionalism and the thoroughness of her questions. She took the time to explain to the family members what to expect and answered their questions in an unrushed manner. She matched up a caretaker with my friend and everything is going well. I will certainly look to hire this company when I need their services in the future.

The guy called me back up and I tried to explain I thought I had strep and he was just being an absolute douche about everything and said there is no strep test which makes no sense because there is. I just ended up leaving and going to the care spot down the road which was much nicer and the people were not rude AND they gave me a strep test... imagine that.

To see so many positive reviews of this location is frankly infuriating. This is not an urgent care…read moreyou should take yourself nor your loved ones too. They are not there to give you an earnest diagnosis, they want to get you in and out the door as quickly as possible to cash in on your insurance. My brother in law went in with severe abdominal pain, extremely high blood pressure and heart-rate, a fever and several other conditions that were obviously severe in nature. They sent him home within a few minutes of looking at him despite the severity of his symptoms. Within 24 hours, he was dead. The hospital was shocked and confused as to how appropriate medical attention was not taken a day earlier. Keep in mind he was very young (40) and in good shape-- it was determined he had experienced organ failure over several days which ultimately killer him. How a "urgent care" could be so shockingly obtuse is more than incompetence or negligent. It's genuinely evil. I will be telling everyone far and wide to avoid this location at all costs, if they had done their job he would still be alive. Horrifying.

I have serious concerns about the safety and well-being of the patients who seek treatment here…read more After several days of complaining of abdominal pain, nausea and occasional fever and chills, and very rapid resting heart rate, my son stopped in on a Friday afternoon to have it checked out. When he was discharged, he was given a prescription antacid and recommendation to see a Cardiologist. He worsened overnight. In the morning, he was convinced to get to a proper Emergency/Trama Center. When his mother and I arrived at the ER, the attending Doctor explained that he was exhibiting signs of Sepsis. As they began the process to confirm with lab work, his heart stopped and the ER staff were unable to resuscitate him. MiniER's web page contains the statement, "The miniER in Waterford Lakes is not your typical urgent care." This seems ironically accurate to me. I believe that most typical medical providers would have immediately recognized the seriousness of our son's situation and called for an ambulance. Instead, he was treated for an upset stomach and released. It is an insult that this webpage requires at least ONE STAR rating!

Specialists include Breast Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Urogynecology, Hematology, and Physical Therapy. Some other health related services coming soon are Heart Care, Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, and Spine Care. I'm not one who loves going to the doctor or shifting my schedule around at work for a bunch of doctor appointments; however, I've had no issues working with staff to coordinate an appointment for my specific needs. What's really great about this location is that if your doctor orders up bloodwork during your visit, staff can perform the bloodwork on the first floor and they can usually get you in right away. The health park is very new and it is kept spotless. There is also a coffee shop on the first floor if you need a pick-me-up while you wait or on the go. Another great thing about this location is there is an emergency room right next to this building, so if you are having an emergency you don't have to go far. All-in-all, I recommend this new facility. If you are in need of any services noted above, this might be the place for you.
