However, as we were…read morebroke down in the middle of the highway I chose them because of their shorter time frame. we had a quote of 375 for our 2005 Chevy TopKick C5500 diesel but was a bit longer wait time. Rescue failed to quote me and we assumed they would be competitive. Wow, were we wrong! I got the text to pay and was shocked that it was almost 600 for a 9 mile tow. I called to question it and asked why he never gave the quote. "You never asked for one." I said so if I forgot to asked you can bill me a million dollars and I have to pay? I didn't have enough service to get the payment to go through, so I was going to do it when we arrived home. Before we arrived, I get a call from the driver asking if and when we were going to pay and letting me know that for every 15 minutes wait it would be extra!
