Very disappointed in this florist. Daughter sent flowers for her mom's birthday to be delivered on May 4. Flowers did not arrive until May 8, 4 days late. The flowers were in horrific condition with dried flowers, broken stems and looked dry and pathetic. Looking at the reviews it seems to be a pattern with this place. We had a friend send us flowers at the hospital after the birth of our baby. They were not delivered the day they promised they would. We got a call from the hospital 2 days later that the had delivered them but we had already gone home. I went to pick them up and was shocked at how bad the bouquet was- the flowers were old, only had 4 roses and a ton off spray painted greenery to fill in the space. It was suppose to include a car but instead it was a cheap printed note. This is the worst place to order flowers from I ordered them on a Thursday before Mother's Day. I got messages saying they were already delivered on Friday , they never were! So I spent the whole weekend trying to track them down. I paid $140 for a nice elegant card some Belgium chocolates and a beautiful bouquet.. what I got was a piece of copy paper with little note and their information on it folded in force, and that was supposed to be the beautiful elegant card, no chocolates and a vase of flowers that you look like they came off of your rose and bush outside no stems stuck into a Styrofoam circle, and shoved into a vase where the water was dirty. There was no stems in it, it looked like a fishbowl when I tried to call these people and find out what the heck was going on. They refused to talk to me. I work for a funeral home and let me tell you that this flowers shop is the absolute worst. Flowers are always dry/dead. They NEVER deliver to the appropriate places often leaving flowers on the sidewalk in the street if we are closed when the driver arrives. Do not recommend for funeral pieces. I know this because I was woken up by an alert that someone was on my porch. The man had a flashlight to see where he was going. Pictured is what was ordered versus what Floreria Mexico delivered, without a balloon, in the evening. Their phone number didn't connect over the weekend. Mid-week, it responds with a message saying that their mailbox is not set up. Clearly this so-called flower shop is a scam, based on the number of similar experiences here. They should be struck from all tele-flower lists and put out of business. How many times have they gotten away with this, where the recipient doesn't show the sender what they received? We used AVAs Flowers to order a bouquet, they used this vendor to execute the order, not only were they a day late, it was nothing like what we ordered. Recieved 3 roses, 1 which was dead!! This florist is AWFUL. No skill in flower arrangement, and dishonest delivery practices. They marked the flowers as delivered by early afternoon, but didn't arrive until 11:30pm!!!Only reason I know is because I have cameras around the house and I was able to confirm delivery time. Nothing like what was in the picture, they didn't even cut the stems, they just folded them in the vase. The flowers started dieing the next day. No gift card that I paid for just a piece of paper folded in quarters with misspelled words. They even put there advertisement and phone number on it, so I thank them for that. This is how I knew who delivered these horrible flowers. I could have went to Vons and spent 15.00 and got better flowers. Just look at the pictures. Stay away until they go out of business. This morning as I was walking towards my office around 8:25am, I noticed this beautiful rose bouquet on the floor in front of the door. Once I saw who this was from, I thanked the person and sent a picture. From what I gathered this was the wrong bouquet and was missing another item which was supposed to be delivered yesterday by 6pm at my office. I looked at the surveillance video to see when it was delivered and if someone had tamper with it. To my surprise, this bouquet was left in front of my office door yesterday night around 11:00pm and luckily no one took it or tampered with it. Hmmmm.... How unprofessional can this be? Even though I didn't purchase the bouquet, this bothers me. I feel this place needs a better system when taking orders and delivering. You want to keep your customer happy so they continue to do business with you. This is something to think about. read more

I ordered these flowers online at 1-800-Flowers for Mother's Day. Upon ordering, I chose the gorgeous purple and pink bouquet (screenshotted the picture online below) and received an entirely different bouquet (pic included below to compare). It was obviously NOT like the picture online whatsoever... As you can see in the pictures, I received an entirely different arrangement that I myself could have put together instead of paying over $100 for the bouquet. How disappointing is it to see the flowers I ordered for my mother on Mother's Day was nothing like the picture online. I could've purchased better flowers at Vons or a different supermarket. They do not answer the phone here at all. Voicemail is not set up either. I wanted to call to explain that the flowers were nothing like the online description, but again, no answer after calling multiple times and even tried to call again on different days following the delivery, still NO one picked up the line at all. Thankfully 1-800-Flowers gave me back a full refund after I explained how frustrated and disappointed the service was. I don't recommend this shop at all. read more

My sweet boyfriend sent me flowers yesterday The delivery was not during the time that was expressed - they came late, I was not home when they arrived and he was worried they would be taken from my porch and the arrangement did not look as it did on the website I received 5 flower stocks where the beautiful arrangement online had an abundance of flowers from the one side you can see in the online image there are 4 roses 3 naturally green mums, 2 yellow stargazer type and 4 purple ficus' now you know there is a back side to the bouquet that has probably the same amount And mine is so puny in comparison 5 flower stems, really! one of which was painted a not so natural green, no babies breath included and raffia bow as show on line There is no active phone line I tried to call several times no response to the only phone number and no voicemail set up to receive your messages I was thrilled to receive the flowers but feel so bad that my boyfriend did not have the benefit of sending the lovely flowers that are shown Please refund a portion of the money I received about 25 percent of the arrangement This Really made me feel bad more that glad to see what he ordered and I received I sincerely would not recommend this company read more

Placed my order with Ava's Flowers-apparently they subcontract to Floreria Mexico. Not sure why they chose this florist since the delivery address was in Downey. I paid extra to have the flowers delivered to my friend for her birthday by 2 PM. She never received them. Nobody answers the phone at Ava's Florist. The flowers were delivered the next morning. See pictures of what I ordered, and what was received. Not only does it look absolutely nothing like what I ordered, what they sent is sparse and even has diseased leaves. Called Ava's Florist for a refund or delivery of what should have been delivered and a refund of the extra $ I paid for early delivery. Ava's left a voicemail for my friend apologizing but still no replacement order or refund. I called Floreria Mexico. The card included for my friend (which was actually also incorrect) says I should call if there's a problem. No one answers the phone. It's a voicemail that is not set up. Never use this florist or Ava's again. Shame on both of them for not just ripping me off, but sending my friend a birthday bouquet that is not only ugly, but was late. Ordered the day before, delivery was supposed to be 8am :00 to 12:00 p.m.. at 2:00 p.m. they weren't there so I emailed customer service and they responded that the flowers were on the way. 4:00 p.m. they still weren't there so I emailed again, got another response saying that they were on the way. Same thing at 6:00, I asked them to clarify specifically what time they were coming and they ignored the email. 2 hours later I emailed customer service back because there is no phone number you can call, saying I wanted to cancel the order because no one was responding to me and they had been lying about delivery all day. Still no response. At approximately 9:00 p.m. or 9 hours after the delivery time I paid for they were delivered. Problems and delays happen but not one single time. Did the company ever acknowledge that they were actually running behind, update me on delivery, and/ or apologize. It was always hi, they're on the way. I have to seriously wonder if they would have been delivered that day at all without seven or eight texts to customer service and finally a request to cancel. read more

If you care about the flowers you are buying, the person you are sending them to and when the flowers are delivered, DO NOT order from Avas Flowers or Floreria Mexico. I am attaching photos of what I ordered and what was delivered. Not only did the flowers not resemble what I ordered (except in color), they arrived after the service. Once your order is placed you cannot reach them as they do not answer their phone. The flowers for my 81st birthday came so close to experations they only lasted that day and after being trimmed of most of the rose petals. They obviously are not concerned about their reputation. My lovely daughter ordered a beautiful bouquet and paid for Fed Ex delivery. I received a text message that the flowers had been delivered, that was 8:24 pm last night outside of my building. This was not a Fed Ex delivery as the flowers were unboxed. The vase was a quarter filled with dirty water, dead greenery and broken stem, dead filler flowers. The three roses were old and their leaves were dead and crumbled to the touch. There was no card, just the message printed on regular paper. My poor daughter spent good money only to be ripped off. The phone rings but no voicemail is set up. This place is unprofessional, delivers extremely poor quality and essentially steals from the people who trustingly spend their money. My family sent me flowers through this service - ordered from the US to be delivered to me here in Mexico. They were supposed to come Saturday before Mothers Day but they never arrived. My family spent several hours both Sunday and Monday, called various phone options on the site and was put on hold and never did get to a person. I finally called from here in Mexico on Monday- was put on hold for over an hour, still with no answer. I did finally reach someone through the WhatsApp chat. It winds up they could not find the house. It is not at all uncommon to have trouble finding a house in Mexico where the house numbering system is not consistent) and is understandable. But no one from the company ever called or e-mailed to let us know that they could not deliver. There was no attempt on their end to resolve the issue. And they never did answer the phone - in English or in Spanish. I finally got through to them through WhatsAPP. I was able to give them a google pin with the house and a photo so they were able to find it. But 2 days later and after many frustrating hours on the phone. I have to say, when the flowers arrived, they were lovely. The bouquet was big and beautiful and the flowers were fresh. The florist who brought them was very kind. I would buy flowers from this local florist DIRECTLY, but I would not recommend ordering through this service because the follow-customer service was so frustrating. Strong suggestions to the company: 1.On the order form, allow a way to include a google pin where the house is and/or a photo. Many taxi services in Mexico do this as a way to be able to find the house more easily. 2. When asking for the phone number on the receiving end, have a space to ask which country the phone is from so you can use the proper country code to call and/or a number by WhatsApp. 3.
