Awesome Vespa and scooter rental service. Friendly people and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this company for rentals and day tours.

Only found a few places that rented scooters in Florence and was deterred by some bad reviews, but…read moreso glad we went with Knowleggi. Francesca made it super easy and was so kind and friendly helping us. We rented a 125cc Kymco scooter for a day in Chianti for 50 euro for a full 24 hours. We were outfitted with two helmets and were shown how to use the scooter features. They gave us a map and said that we could park anywhere in Florence at night where there were scooters (they assured us that scooters could travel safely with in the ZTL). The scooter had a place to store/lock the two helmets while parked and there is room under the seat for a small messenger sized bag. We did end up finding a gas station upon return (on Via Senese), but that was also a challenge to navigate on how to pay (cash only). Ended up asking a local using hand signals, but since the station was self serve (kiosk closed for holidays), we didn't get the change from our 10 euro (the tank is small... a full tank was about 6.50 euro). Again, for your sanity, it probably makes sense just to pay the fee to have them fill up the gas. While the process of renting and returning was super easy, you should definitely have confidence driving a scooter as well as navigating in italian traffic! Driving through Chianti was beautiful and amazing, but navigating out of and back into Florence was stressful. I had remembered to download the Google map of the region so I could access it offline. Without that, we would have been toast. Remember to review the italian street signs -- the red circle with line through it means ONE WAY STREET. The blue signs with arrows indicate directions that you can continue... so if it has a straight arrow and a left arrow, you can keep straight or turn left -- but not right. If it only has a left arrow, you must turn left. It's also helpful to know that a red slash through a city name or through a speed limit means that you are EXITING or LEAVING that zone.

They share a garage with a handful of other agencies so check around for the best price and selection. I was able to get a great price online only a few days in advance. We found the place easily and there were about 3-4 parties ahead of us when we arrived. After waiting about 15 minutes, I was helped and the service was very friendly. There were no attempts to upsell. After getting the keys, we were told where the car was within the garage and walked across the street to get it. It was a nice Abarth Fiat 500. I circled it for damage and had a few things added on that wasn't noted. There was a 200km limit per day day so 600km for our 4 day rental. I was worried about this, but it ended up not being an issue. The return was tough as it was hard to navigate all the one-way streets to get back to the garage. I returned after hours so I parked it and dropped the keys off at the designated box and that was it!

I made this reservation for my honeymoon 4 months prior to our trip and when I arrived at Florence…read more- Via Borgo Ognissanti your employee told us that we needed to be 30 years old to rent the car that I had booked. We're both 29.5. There was no mention on your website of needing to be 30 years old and you were happy to take my money at the time so you can start to see where my frustration comes from. Instead of offering to help fix the situation, your employee told us that you had no more cars and that there was nothing that she could do and to essentially leave. We were then forced to go across the street and rent from another terrible business that made us miss appointments and tours by hours. You should be ashamed of yourselves. At the very least to protect future customers, you should make it clear on your website that you need to be 30yo to rent certain cars. Is there really a difference between 29.5 and 30 that you couldn't have made an exception for our honeymoon? What an embarrassing and horrible experience. I'll be notifying our partnerships team here at TripAdvisor to see what we can do.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!! Do not rent from this company. Very bad customer service. Scam…read morecompany. Rented an automatic fuel car, guy said it was fuel ended up being fuel/electric. The batter went dead, car would not run, the charger didn't work had tried to get help and others said it was the cars charger port that was unresponsive not the charging station. We called the emergency number for a tow, they told us it'd be 20-25 mins before they arrive and they'd call. No one called, we waited in the cold for hours so we had to leave the car and get a taxi. We went to Europcar in the am and were treated very poorly. They stated we called the wrong number, but it was the number the guy circled on the book. They also stated we were to stay with the car all night and also that there was no record of us even calling but then said the tow company called us throughout the night yet called us liars for calling to get the tow. so we were told we had to stay all night in 30* Fahrenheit weather in a broke down car until someone could come in the morning. (No exaggeration) they told us we needed to taxi all the way back to the car for the two truck and then taxi back to them to trade a car. Why should someone pay all these taxi fees when it's their vehicle that doesn't work? We declined demanded a refund and they said no, it's not their problem. Keep in mind I paid full coverage for any breakdowns etc. Do not recommend at all. Rent from hertz or someone else to avoid this scam company. Side note. Guy stated new car no scratches but there was a dent on the door so they do try to put blame on you. Careful!
