I purchase parts here on a regular basis and the service, parts and availability is usually good. Perhaps the staff was having a bad day or they have changed employees because today the experience was horrible. I called this morning about a part for my car. The customer service over the phone was excellent. When I went in to pay for the part he arrived at 4:32 pm there was one person ahead of me. When I got to the counter the staff person was rushing and did not give me the same information as over the phone. He expected me to pay for the part and wait for it to come in to see if it is the right part. I said since you are in a rush to get out of here I will let you go. The staff person threw the keys to a co-worker and said let's get the "F" out of here. Of course they have lost me as a customer and that's why I'm writing this review on Google and Yelp. They sold me a part that wasn't for my car and as a result the part broke I didn't realize they sold me the wrong part so I took it back and got another part when it didn't work I looked at the receipt and the part was for a four-cylinder and not a six cylinder. I took it back to Florence auto parts and they gave me a hard time again they said they couldn't change it cause the warranty expired and I told them u just exchanged it 9 months ago for a defected battery and you guys are giving me another defected battery. This place is horrible! I called for a new alternator and was told they had it. Got there and the guy says he doesn't think they have it. He finally found it. My mechanic removed the old only to find that the new one didn't match. Took the new one back for exchange. They are supposed to open at 7:30am, but didn't open until 7:45am. Only one guy there who tells me that they don't have the right part and they need to go to Vernon to pick up the right part. So now I have to wait an hour for the guy to pick up the right part. I also don't appreciate the management watching everyone as if all customers are thieves waiting to steal their parts. I went to return a part I had purchased from them on Sunday (10/18) on Wednesday (10/21) because it detected my ABS light after i drove it for a few miles I went elsewhere to purchase the same part I put it on the car no issues so their part was the problem. They only do a fast pass on the rotors, resulting in a poor job and consequently a noisy rotor. ON TOP of that, they don't take the time to hone the rotors after they machine them. read more

I went back and they "fixed" them but when I picked them up the Asian guy at the first computer on the left got mad because I got them turned again for free and said that I had to get new ones because they were too thin. My rating is based on the quality of work and customer service. I had my rotors resurfaced here. The cost was 7 dollars per rotor. That was fine. When I reinstalled them back on my car, my braking system made a horrible screeching noise. The sound occurred each time the tire made a full rotation. This only happened to the drivers side. I decided to go back to the shop and try and see what they could do about this issue. The person who assisted me blamed the noise on my caliper. He said that the noise was due to bad calipers. I advised him that this was a brand new vehicle and that the caliper were in good working condition. I asked him if he could at least resurface one of them again. He said no and that if I wanted to get them done again I had to pay. At this point I decided to leave the shop. I went to Toyota and purchased a brand new rotor. Guess what, problem solved. Screechie noise gone, no vibrations, no nothing. Moral of the story, do not go to shady parts place with horrible customer service and poor quality work. Buyer beware. read more
