My Favorite Fish Store!…read more This is hands down my favorite fish store! It's such a relief to know the crew here--Jillian, Evan, and Chris--are not only friendly and laidback, but also incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. I'm fairly new to the hobby and they've always been patient in answering my questions, guiding me through everything, and encouraging me to do my research before purchasing. I'm especially into puffer fish and rainbow fish, and every fish I've brought home from here has been healthy and in great condition. Of course, as a buyer, it's also important to do your own due diligence--acclimating and quarantining properly really helps your fish settle in and thrive. What makes this store even better is that they offer special orders! If there's something specific you're looking for, talk to Evan--he's amazing! Super friendly and attentive, and he'll take great care of you and your order. Every visit is a great experience--the whole crew creates a welcoming, fun, and relaxed environment. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned aquarist, I highly recommend this place. They also carry a wide variety of amphibians, reptiles, tropical, and saltwater fish--definitely a well-rounded store for all things aquatic (and more!).

Today just two hours before my appointment, PetSmart calls to cancel because they are short staffed. After explaining my demanding work schedule, I asked if they would "squeeze" my dog's grooming in on my next day off. They quickly said "no." No effort was made to accommodate me, even after I explained I had been a customer for nearly 13+ years. I have spent thousands of dollars at PetSmart over the years; gladly paid for the grooming that shot up from $40 pre-pandemic, to now $80+. Cats, rabbits, dogs, birds, they have it! My biggest complaint, though, is pricing. Some things are way overpriced and others are on the lower end. There's no real balance when it comes to their prices so just know that going in. We bought our dog a few hide-free bones and a toy, which they have a great selection of both. However, with the confusion on prices, I'm unsure if we will be back for anything other than the treats we normally buy her and toys (since those were reasonable). Oh! And they have Ziwi which is normal priced, so that's a bonus!

I actually got home a bit early, so it was terrific that Justin could give lots of attention to my male cat (who obviously adored him and wouldn't stop rubbing up against his legs) while I brought my stuff in. Justin even offered to help me unload, but it was even better to see how much the cats loved them!
