I'd rate as many stars allowed as I could. Flor Bella Designs created a Custom, Stunning Arrangement for me!! I needed a casket spray; but HATED the lack of selection from the suggested list of florists; as well as the inability to talk to a local florist. My choices appeared to only be from florist brokers who contacted local, anonymous florists. I contacted one, asking to customize a beautiful red spray; but the person said they would try/couldn't anything. White Carnations, instead of Red Ones...like who wouldn't have those?! I then googled local florists, and found Flor Bella Designs. EVERY Casket Spray was gorgeous and what a diverse selection!! I decided to get flowers from Flor Bella Designs, right then and there. However, I read that she could also customize arrangements!! I called and emailed a picture of the one I wanted. Together on the phone, we constructed what would suit. She offered suggestions that went beyond my extra Baby's Breath and White Carnations. She added White Roses, White Snapdragons replacing the Baby's Breath, some White Mums... i would never have thought of those!! She was cordial, accommodating, actually excited about how this was going to turn out, and genuinely sympathetic to our family's loss. She worked within my budget to create what would be a Supreme Arrangement on the broker sites, but for the pricing of a Medium Arrangement. Here's the best part... this GORGEOUS Arrangement was there when we arrived about an hour early. Another family member's arrangement, a large standing Heart Pray, purchased elsewhere (Blooms Today) never came. At first that broker said it was running late, they would contact the local florist, and then that florist would call us, or the broker would. The guy also asked why my family member wasn't calling themselves, since my family member purchased it.. REALLY... who does that?! An hour passed. I called back and was snarkily told that they'd call us, no need for us to call them. An hour and a half went by... then the wake ended. No call... no flowers. Shameful, right? Read carefully though -- the negative paragraph above, is not at all directed towards Flor Bella Designs -- quite the contrary. I only write it; because when you lose a loved one, it's hard enough... nobody should have to worry about the flowers they purchased, not arriving. Well, I didn't have to. Flor Bella Designs exceeded our expectations, the owner was delighted work with, and attentive to my request -- even improving it; and prompt!! Local business owners need our support. I came from out of state so I yelped florists around Mahwah area and stumbled upon Flor Bella. Its a neat little spot and they really worked with my family to get what we wanted. We didn't know exactly what we want besides a full vase and purple flowers. I did wish there were premade vases of flowers there for us to pick from but it's OK.. I definitely wanted something different from the traditional roses, baby's breath, white, ect that many wedding centerpieces and bouquets are. And they gave us exactly what we wanted in interesting, colorful but tasteful arrangements. Our colors were purple and orange and they mixed them beautifully with succulents and other greenery.
