First, they were prompt and did a great job installing the wood grain planks in my den and hallway. My problem is with their financing. Sunlight Financing will collect a finance fee around 30% for every dollar you owe. I paid $2000 up front on an $8300 loan, and still owe over $13000 on the loan. You can't pay it off early without paying the financing fee. Don't recommend using this financing company. read more

Two years ago, my husband and I were left to deal with a completely trashed rental home. I was both livid, and equally concerned about the financial obligation that we were about to face, in order to prepare the home to be sold. Dee was very prompt, in making a home visit to assess the condition of the very worn and stained carpet. She documented measurements and offered her professional opinion, based on her knowledge and expertise in this industry. We knew the price range that we needed to adhere to, as the home also had to be painted and the kitchen cabinets rebuilt and stained. We hired Floors to Go recently. Their painting crew did our downstairs walls in light gray and loved the results. Later we had their flooring crew come and tear out and install in the downstairs in luxury vinyl. We always knew when their crews were expected. All were polite and courteous. This has to to be the worst flooring store I have been to in a long time order 100 ft of carpet and no one is there that can load it so I had to get on the forklift my self and load and then was call after I left and was told never to come back I. This store every again ... No Problem read more

Floors to Go did an awesome job with my house. I had some new windows installed, painting done, and new flooring in my home. It was great being able to go to one place to get all of that done. I had two polar experiences with this company. I hired them several years ago to install hardwood throughout the house - the team that did the work at that time was prompt, professional, and did a good job. Recently, I hired them to do two small jobs - tiling a floor and patching some of the hardwood. What you must understand about this company is that they don't do the work - they hire whatever contractor they can find, apparently now at the lowest cost. The tile contractor showed up at noon the first day, instead of around 9AM as promised, then left for three hours after working an hour. I was later told he had an emergency, which would be fine except they were also late the second day, and again left for several hours for lunch. The last day the 'lead' of the team left his crew at the house and went to get an air compressor part so he could install the quarter round moulding. He returned 3.5 hours later - his crew had been on the front porch talking for at least 2 hours waiting. As to the wood, it wasn't much better - this crew at least showed up on time and worked, and the floor looked okay when they left, although they did complain to me several times that the job was more work then they were told. A few hours later, we had two boards popping up in the floor. Called the company and they sent the contractor back up, who said it was their fault for not buying enough wood, because he really had to run it to the wall to relieve the stress that would cause the board to pop up. So, they ordered more wood (At no cost to me, which was a good move). When he returned to fix with the new wood, he only replaced two boards - I asked him why he wasn't running it to the wall like he said the first time I was told - "Look, I don't get paid to come back here. I'm going to do this and hope it holds". Great way to stand by your work. The patch did hold, but the floor looks bad - the boards he placed are not level with the others, but I assume that will be caught on the final 'walk through' floors to go promised me. I suspect had he removed the old glue and prepped the floor correctly all would have been fine. Well, 5 weeks later and I'm still waiting for my final walk-through. I did receive a bill, so I suppose my walk through isn't coming. Bottom line, avoid this place if you can - they used to do good work, but apparently are now just in the business of hiring the cheapest contractors they can find. The people in the store are nice, and the one worker they have that does some general repair work is fantastic, but I can't recommend them for installing any flooring. read more

This company did my entire house minus one room w/ ceramic tile and bamboo flooring. they did not tell me there would be an almost 2 inch difference between the two floors even though I asked because someone else had told me this would happen and I would change the tile if this was going to be the case. My baseboard was covered and now only 1.5 inches of is shows but you can't just pull it up because the flooring is right up against it ( as it should be). My stove now sits an inch above my counter tops. I was told to make sure I finished all my painting prior to installation now however my walls are a mess and I will have to repaint my entire house. Even though they only asked for 20% down I gave them 80% up front and was asked everyday during the installation for the rest of the money. The bamboo guys stole narcotic pain relievers from my husband. I filed a police report and when I brought this to the owners attention it was blown off. I would never allow these people in my home again. If anyone asks I show them the work and tell them absolutely to not use this company. Love my floors disappointed in the service. read more

Floors To Go has done a wonderful job with our flooring, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The pricing was very reasonable, as I believe you get what you pay for and our flooring is beautiful. Very satisfied with installation and followup by owner was a nice touch. read more
