Shopping for an area rug for our new house was a daunting process. The store does custom orders, and also has "off the shelf" rugs to purchase that are organized by size. The size organization was a huge time saver, allowing me to concentrate on pattern and texture. A staff member brought me some water to drink and large plastic clips to mark the rugs I like (the same process as wedding dress shopping for any ladies who have been through that). There were a lot of rugs I liked, and one in particular that was exactly what I had pictured wanting for our space. The staff brought it down and laid it out on the floor for me to look at, and then wrapped it up for us to put in our car. The purchase process here is a little different than a normal store - you "sign out" rugs for 48 hours with a credit card hold, and if you like it, the store confirms over the phone and then bills your card for the rug(s) you are keeping. They emailed me my bill and care instructions within 30 minutes of talking on the phone. The staff here were lovely and the selection is top notch. The rug I selected was within the budget I set out before going shopping, and prices were totally in line with other stores I have visited.

They just want to sell you the pieces and will say anything to get the sale "these couches are indestructible" "liquid just beads off of them" You think you are buying high end furtinature at the cost you are paying but that's absolutely not what you are getting. The warranty company they use is even worse. I use the word warranty very loosely because they don't actually do anything and deny most claims. do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere.

The ladies working here were very helpful, and were so happy to look up some items I was in search of. Not to mention that the products in this store are just gorgeous. Totally my style. As they lived out of town they were not able to be at the store within 14 days to exchange it for another color. It was 3 months and the product was still new inventory. It had not been discontinued and was currently stocked. It was reutned in original bag and with receipt. They would not give a store credit, or even exchange for a different color. The client did have additional products at the register that they were going to purchase but decided against this due to the behavior of the staff and the return policy. Please be aware as I have had clients with issues with this store before.

On May 13, three weeks after my order cancellation I reached out to customer support to figure out what was going on. Their solution was to cancel and resend me my refund. On May 17, now 24 days, after my order cancellation the initial refund card arrived, but now cancelled. At this point it will be June before I receive a refund for a purchase I cancelled in April. I feel I received a poor customer experience from Crate & Barrel.
