Where it falls apart is the install. They hire bottom of the barrel workers to actually install the products. There was not a single thing they didn't screw up on install. Because I don't want you to think I'm being dramatic I'll include pictures..... 1. Appliances- we ordered super nice LG cafe appliances from the store. We waited....and waited...and waited. Finally when the day they were suppose to arrive (ordered in February it was now late April) we called and found out they wouldn't be in until December. We had to have something as we moved in to a new house with no appliances. So, we bought a second set that they gave us a "good deal" on. When they arrived, they were clearly used appliances (food in the microwave and crumbs in the oven). However, none of this compares to the splinted mess they left in my beautiful custom cabinets when they drilled a hole for the microwave (pictured). Total disregard for someone else's craftsmanship. 2. Carpet- the carpet was ok on install. There was the normal drywall dings and paint scrapes. The transitions were sloppy but, not the end of the world. My biggest complaint is they didn't clean up after themselves. There was fuzz and carpet pieces everywhere. We spent hours vacuuming just so it didn't look like a shag rug exploded. 3. Tile- Tile 101- use the same batch for the entire floor. If this is not possible mix the batches to insure you don't have a chunk of tile that was noticeably different. They didn't do this and we ended up with a section by our doorway that is noticeably darker than the rest. In addition their gout job was sloppy and there were low spots and spots where thinset was poking through. Once again, no clean up was done. Gout was all over the walls and splattered on tiles. We did call them on this and were given a discount and a worked came back and cleaned up. However, I have to look at the mismatched tile everyday (picture). Bottom line...hire your own installer if you buy product from here.

5 STARS for Sean Thompson and The Flooring Guys!!! My experience working with Sean and with this…read morecompany was awesome! I called Sean to get a quote, he showed up the same day, he knew exactly what I wanted, and he delivered. The carpet was installed within a week and it is gorgeous. It's exactly what I wanted and I'm very pleased with the quality of the service, the product, and the professionalism. The two carpet installers were also amazing. They worked quickly, they were great at communicating, and they did a nice job. I highly recommend The Flooring Guys. Thank you!

The flooring guys is a great business that saved me last minute. Lowe's came out to install luxury…read morevinyl flooring and after tearing out all the carpet told me it couldn't be done because the floors were not level enough. They simply wouldn't and didn't want to level or sand down anything so I was left with no floors on site. I did not want carpet and already had all the flooring I wanted delivered. I was in search of a flooring company that would help and found great reviews for this business so I submit a message or email to their site. Within minutes at 10pm I am getting contacted by David Vaughan saying he would come out the next day to inspect the floors. After he came out and told me the other installers were simply lazy and didn't want to put in the work needed and they were able to squeeze me in last minute I was very relieved. They promised me that they would do the work until I was fully satisfied which they did. They came out 2 more times to address all of my concerns and kept their promise to satisfy their customer to the end. I would recommend going the this business over lowes or home depot budget installers that don't know what the heck they are doing. You get what you pay for and I'm fine paying a little more for a lot more satisfaction!

This rating would have been higher if the installer followed through on his word but that seems to…read morenot be something he can do. The good: Russell was very friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to work with and the purchase of flooring went smoothly. The install itself is above average. I have no real complaints there aside from the floor feels weird in spots upstairs. (Subfloor most likely and may have nothing to do with the install itself.) The bad: I paid for everything. I should have waited. The trim hadn't come in for the transition on the stairs. It was backordered for roughly a month. I had to send numerous emails asking what the status was. It's now been in a month. It hasn't been installed. I get a family emergency coming up and gave that two weeks. But then I had to follow up again, we scheduled a time, he forgot, we scheduled a time, he got behind. Will the trim ever be installed? Who knows! It's been TWO months! So yeah, I'm annoyed at this point. I would not pay him again until everything was done and if you aren't rich, just expect to be lower on the priority list. Is that worth good work? You know, I'm just not sure anymore. Is it good if it isn't finished??? Floor is done. Three months from start to finish.

ProSource is place where contractors send you to check out flooring, tile, backsplashes, carpet,…read moreetc. If you want to see pretty much every option for your home IN-PERSON, this is the place to go. They have tens of thousands of samples from hundreds of lines/manufacturers. And you can see, touch and feel them all, if you have the time. The selection, as I said above, is very large, almost intimidating. If you don't have a good idea of what you want, I can see you getting lost. However, they do have great staff that give you one on one attention and can help give you advice and help you figure out what you really want, or really need. The only real drawback is that there are price "codes" on everything, not actual prices. You can ask for selections in a price range, but until the order is set up, you really don't know the cost. This can be intimidating and disappointing when you realize that something you instantly love turns out to be way out of your price range.... In summary, ProSource is absolutely the best place to interact and sense what flooring/walls, etc are available without trying to divine it from a picture or written description. Unless you're absolutely sure of what you want, allow yourself enough time to see all the options...
