I needed to have new vinyl flooring installed into a room that I planned to use to foster shelter animal. Some of them needed a lot of help learning to use the litter box, so I wanted to a high quality floor that was easy to clean and could withstand whatever the kittens were going to throw at it. The installers were able to come out quickly once the materials were delivered. They did their work quickly and professionally, and I am happy with the quality of both the flooring and the work. We've had the flooring in place for a few months now, and the kittens have certainly put it through its paces. I specifically chose one of the more expensive options because it met my needs, and I feel that both the product and the service met my expectations. I would certainly recommend Louie's to anyone looking for new flooring. read more

We have used them in the past with great results. This past experience was far from even good. We ordered our flooring 2-3 weeks before the install. A day or two before the install I was called and told the flooring for the basement was on back order for an unknown amount of time. Another product was picked out but this made the final completion another week or so later than expected. Every day the installer was supposed to be there I'd get a call saying they are running late. 45 minutes I was told turned into 1.5 hours or more I had to miss work to wait for them to show up. This happened a couple times. The main floor was done and there was thousands of carpet shreds that needed vacuumed. Another 1.5 hours as they are still using Covid for an excuse to not clean up the carpet shreds. The basement vinyl finally came in and the installer finished most of it in a day. He had a transition piece that he didn't bring to finish it. Was told the next day it would be done and wasn't. I had just paid to have the entire house painted even the basement floor. When they finished there was sticky glue foot prints all over the fresh painted floor. There was some on the walls by the kitchen and the fridge and glue splattered along the wood baseboards and wood wall. I asked them to come clean it. I was told to use a bucket of water as you'll always have some cleanup they said. This amount was unacceptable and I explained that to them. They promised someone would clean it up. Day 1 no one showed up. Called said they'd have some come and never did. Finally I after a 3rd call they came to clean. They still left glue footprints on the fresh painted floor and baseboard. I finally just had to do it myself. They offered $100 discount which finally turned into a $300 discount. That doesn't cover the week and a half my house was off the market, my missed time from work waiting on late installers, or my time on the phone requesting they clean up their mess and my frustration with the entire process. They also didn't put a air vent back on the wall and when I asked to have that done they response was my guy said he didn't take it off. Why would I have?? That was followed by him saying "so you're telling me my installer is full of shit." All in all this was an absolute disaster which has resulted in me not being able to recommend them. Then after the pathetic offer of a refund, the guy admits the way they handled this job was a "colossal failure", apparently they don't make things right even when they know they really screwed things up for a custumer. read more

Great service with fast installation. We had a basement room redone. The carpet looks great and even better than our other carpet. Highly recommended. read more

I can't say enough good things about Louie's Flooring.  My folks recently purchased a new home and wanted to get new flooring installed prior to moving in.  Unfortunately, they live outside the metro area and finding someone to even take the job was a task.  On top of that, we had a very short timeframe from closing to when they wanted to move in.  Having worked with Louie's in the past, I called Beth and let her know of our monumental ask.  Beth worked extremely hard to get an installer onsite to measure within 2 days.  A week later Louie's was delivering the flooring we had picked out.   Louie's installed the floor in the evenings and over a weekend to meet our deadline.  How many companies do you know who would do that?  And they came in lower priced than the original bid from a competitor who also wanted to charge an exorbitant fee for the job being "out of town". I can't say enough good things about Beth and the Louie's team.  Their professionalism, customer service, and desire to do great work is unmatched by any flooring company I have ever worked with. read more

Louie's installed wood flooring in my home for the previous owners that after only six years delaminated. Instead of managing the problem, they kept dodging my calls and after coming out tell me that the floor is only warranties for the previous owners. As if someone could take their floor with them! Makes no sense and is terrible customer service. Since they are doing nothing and the problem is getting worse, I am pursuing a claim with the Better Business Bureau and posting this wherever I can unless it is rectified. read more

After much shopping around we chose Louie's as they offered us the best price and seemed confident in the product that they had recommended for our situation. The installation was fine and the floor looked great for about a week. After a week it was clear that there were issues. The installer floated the floor rather than gluing it down and many of the planks shifted. Within a month a few of the planks had even started to crack near the ends. We called and "the best installer we have" came out to asses the floor. He was able to slide some of the planks and glue some cracks down. Days later the same issue occurred. Many phone calls were made and never returned once the checked had cleared... We now have a floor that has many 1/4 inch gaps throughout as well as some cracked tips. They didn't level the floors between all of the rooms so that's a disaster waiting to happen as well. Was hoping a brand new vinyl floor would last more than 5 years... at this rate we'll be lucky to hit 3 read more

I had ceramic tile purchased at this business August 2017 I had them come out on several occasions as the grout and tile are loose and coming out. They do not stand behind there work or products. I paid$3,699.40 for the work and it is horrible. My kitchen floor looks awful. My sister used them a few years ago and was also very disappointed in the work. read more

I will not return to Louie's. I like to give my business to the local business. After pricing a box store the salesman at louie"s quoted me a price for a lesser grade, but I could save $600! Long story short, he "made a mistake" and I got a lesser carpet for the same price I would have paid at the box store. We used to call this a bait and switch in my day. The installers did an OK job although they were hours late. I do not recommend. read more

We used Louie's for a kitchen floor remodel. It was a disaster. The floor was installed incorrectly and they would not stand behind their product nor the instillation. In fact, the person we dealt with said, "I'll make you eat that floor." Well.... we are currently in the market for a complete redo of the flooring in our home - two floors, and guess where we will NOT go!!! read more

Unprofessional installers. Poor quality work. extremely disappointed since they were so highly recommended.

This company is a complete nightmare to deal with. They did the tile in our bathroom and we had to have them come back 3 times because the shower leaked due to the backer they put behind the tile being 2" too short. It's ruined our drywall and trim. As for our carpet, it's taken over 4 months to get them to fix the issue - they let it go to the point that now we have to have everything replaced. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more
