Initial visit was good, knowledgeable staff. All fell apart after that. Install was being done by their guys. First team arrived, and despite being flooring installers, openly admitted they didn't know how to do stairs, only flat areas. This team also did not complete the transition strips to bathroom and bedrooms, I had to finish their install. After about 6 weeks of my house torn apart, the stair "specialist" showed up. He rolled in sporadically for a couple hours here and there and finished after 2 more weeks. It was rainy out, so I foolishly let him use my garage for cuts, which he left a gigantic mess and did not clean up anything after himself. Fast forward a few months, and every stair is broken, ends are lifting on flat surfaces. The company proceeds to ghost me for a few months, until someone finally responds, sometimes weeks/months between replies. The warranty you get with the floor basically isn't real, it is offered just to make a sale. They blame the issue on anything that won't be the material or installers fault, example being "you must have had something too heavy on it". It's flooring, should be able to handle people walking on it. Had a third party inspector come in and confirm install was done terribly and incorrectly on stairs and that the flooring itself failed on flat surfaces. Reps for the company came out and confirmed that as well to me. Was told "FloorIt would follow up with me", this being sent via text message. Both FloorIt and the company reps have since ghosted. What a waste of money and over 1 year of fighting to get compensated for thousands in failed material and installation. Would never do business with this company again and will actively tell people to avoid them as well. read more

My biggest requirement for purchasing flooring was that it was water proof or water resistant. The salesman at FloorIt Hassan told me that the Mohawk RevWood was water resistant for 72 hours and it was right at the top of my budget. I bought it and installed it and I had recommend the flooring to my mother who was looking for something similar she found out that in fact it is ONLY rated for 30 MINUTES..... not 72 hours. I have called and emailed Hassan many times and he keeps doubling down that it is indeed good for 72 hours. When in fact the manufacture tells me only 30 min. Very frustrating. Buy from somewhere else. UPDATE: They offered me $500 and sum dollars to shut up, which the MANUFACTURER has already PAID TO floorit. When it comes to the money Floorit is the middleman, I don't know why. They told me the money had come in and to come pick up the money on Tuesday. So I came the following Thursday and it wasn't there. "Come back tomorrow when the owner is here". Today is that day and he won't give me the money until I delete my previous review on BBB (Which they're name is now The Carpet Discounters Ltd. for some reason). I have been buying flooring from floorit for the last 20yrs love there service and pricing. Always been satisfied.

They did the job with adequate product. Big whoop. But they also drove over my lawn for no reason to save one millisecond to get to the lane. Then they told me to wait at home so they could come to clean up. I waited 6 hours. They never showed and I had to do the clean up. I'm being generous with 2 stars. read more

Words cannot describe how horrible this business is to deal with. The pictures speak for themselves - scratched flooring, damaged furniture, damaged cupboards, burnt wall, and sharp unsafe trimming just to start. This all started in January 2017 and the headache continues today (November). These crooks took our money and destroyed our home. My only hope is that others will see these reviews and go elsewhere. 1 star is too high of a rating. The whole story is far too long and unbelievable. Steer clear of this company. My home is located in Saskatoon and we hired Floor it to come in to install new tile while we were away on holidays. The manager is very unprofessional and will deny they have made any mistakes and will leave your home unfinished or finshed incorrectly. The list of mistakes is long in our home. Floorit hired a contactor to come install tile in my home and they didnt get one thing right. They put several holes in our walls, laid the 2'x1' tiles the wrong direction, didnt finish the trim correctly, dented my $7000.00 front door. They were paid in full and when we went in to discuss how to resolve the issue the manager Ryan denied everything and told me he was prepared to do nothing for us. They have excellent product. But sales staff fails to follow up does not advise when installation time and date have changed. Scheduled to start my flooring installation on the 9th of Aug it is now the 6th of Sept and it still is not complete. There are many other issues with this install.
