Although I came here for a specific reason, I would definitely stop in again if I was shopping at CityPlace or downtown, as it is located a short walk from both. Chelsea Lane is a wallpaper store with a tiny boutique tucked into part of the showroom. The wallpapers decorating the walls and the bathrooms and everywhere were so interesting and intriguing! Even though I'm not in the market for wallpaper, I could have sat down and looked at samples for way too long just to see the beautiful prints. The boutique features a carefully, artfully curated collection of small, beautiful items such as books and jewelry, plus a few furniture items and a small rack of clothing. It also carries some locally-made products. The prices ran the gamut from super affordable (really lovely sea glass earrings, for example) to high end. The bathroom here is one of the most beautiful I've ever visited, simply because of the wallpaper!

There are more items I need to purchase for more organization and reduction of clutter calamity but I can't be spending whole paychecks on organizers, especially as the Container Store is next to Total Wine. We had quite good service from Effy on our recent visit…read more I'd seen an ad on TV advertising a sale in which they had just the sleeper sofa I'd been wanting to buy for a while. We decided to stop by Baer's and check it out. We were greeted immediately on entering by Effy. After explaining what I wanted, we were taken directly upstairs to the sofa I'd seen on the TV. After looking it over and making sure that I could open up the sleeper bed portion by myself, we said we would be very interested in it. It was perfect. And it came in a color that was good for our decor. Plus, the discounted price was much less than I'd anticipated paying originally. We then proceeded downstairs to process the order and to pay. This was one of the easiest house purchases we've made. We set up a delivery date. Now if they deliver the right sofa on time on the date they've promised, the four star rating will be justified. I have high hopes at the moment.
