He took the time to help my wife and I by explaining the different types of wood/laminate/bamboo flooring including the thicknesses and made it all simple and easy to understand. Because of virus scare we had to order tile on line and pick up in back of store. No problem. On line said the Pompano store had 8 boxes. Ordered and paid for it. Drove 40 minutes. Got in there early, waited 30 minutes and MANAGER comes out and says they have none of the style of tile we ordered. She said I should have called to check!!! I was with my aunt and they also seemed to have many different sizes in stock such as plank ceramic tiles, large square, and even smaller traditional. My bash is on the customer service. Trashy looking fellows who seem pre occupied. Get your ass over here and tell me about tile. Don't tell me oh everything in the size is gonna be down somewhere over there (points aimlessly in a vague direction). I want to know where the tile was manufactured, what materials it's comprised of, what's the intended application, and maybe if your lucky I'll ask your aesthetic opinion. Selection of tiles and assistance from the staff in front of the store was great. I purchased close to $4k in tiles and picking them up in the back of the store has been a nightmare. They claim that I picked up some tiles already when I have not. They told me they had to review the videos and research more. The Manager told me to call back tomorrow to find out what was researched...why should I have to call back? Lack of customer service skills and ownership to resolve the issue has been the issue. At this point I do not know what is next...at the end they told me it's possible my order was mixed up with another customer with my same last name? In addition, I ended taking whatever tiles I had there to pick up since my contractor is waiting on these tiles...the worker there said they placed 60 boxes of tiles in my truck...I told him I counted 30 and I had him go back and check and he then realized I was right...he counted 30 boxes and not 60 like he was going to have me signed for. I placed a order to retile my entire home, my installer warned us to double and triple check with F&D that they have the quantity in stock before you order. We did and placed the $7700 order, they told us 3 weeks for delivery. after the delivery date came and went I called the store and they told me the order was never placed, even though I have a order number and they took my money....Apparently their ordering system is manual and the salesman never emailed the order after taking my money. When we asked how quickly they can resolved this, they told me maybe another 2-3 weeks but they don't know for sure as the tiles I ordered was sold already to someone else. So I picked a second option that was in total $600 more, I asked if they could eat the difference to make it up to us for their huge mistake. They refused so I asked for my refund. Huge waist of time and forget trying to call the store unless you like waiting 20-30 min before someone answers the phone. These stores have good selections for small jobs but forget about receiving any half decent customer service. read more

AVOID THIS STORE IF YOU NEED A TILE CONTRACTOR. I was going to purchase tile from them and they recommended Installation Made Easy. Was told to pick 3 dates for estimator to come out and that company would email me date and time and estimator information. This morning I start getting texts and call from someone who didn't give their name or company name who had ALL my personal information trying to "negotiate" a different day for the estimate. I called Installation Made Easy and talked to a CSR who told me all contractors are given ALL of your personal information. Something that was not disclosed to me when I initially retained them. I am sorry Floor & Decor recommended this installer because I won't use them anymore either. If you don't want your personal information broadcast everywhere, don't call this vendor. read more

The other customers were very helpful but the actual people who worked there -- the employees--were disinterested, rude, and clearly not into customer satisfaction. As soon as they saw a customer coming toward them they walked away in the other direction and if they couldn't get away in time they pretended they didn't work in that dept. I asked where I could find a cart and the guy I asked who was just joking with other employees didn't even look up at me but mumbled to go outside and look -- clearly annoyed that I had intruded on his day. I wasn't the only one, an older gentlemen asked an employee to come and help him put something in his cart and the employee said no that someone else in that dept would help him and then walked away. If you know what you're doing it's a great place to find products but if you need help order from Amazon because these people in this floor and decor aren't there to help you and they let you know it. read more

This store is very poorly managed. I paid for an order of tile on Saturday July the 15th. I was told the majority of the boxes were hard to access and to please return on Monday to pick them up. when I returned Monday I was told it was still buried and they could not help me today if I could please come back, I said I would return on Thursday and to please have the order ready which I was assured it would be. Thursday I got the same story and returned today, Friday July 21st and was told the tile had been lost. I have lost at least 7 hours of my time and with no discount or anything other than to send me to the West Palm store where supposedly they have my tile. I do not recommend this amateur run company to any professional looking for a smooth transaction, horrible loss of time and money. read more
