During a recent visit, my wife and I were looking for backsplash ideas for our current kitchen remodel. The process was pretty overwhelming until we were assisted by Cina, one of the design services reps. She presented several options and reasonable price points. I made a $1000.00 purchase and returned the items for a different product. After. the return I was told that my fund could take up to 10 days to post back to my account. Floor and Decor should properly inform customers upfront regarding their practice to delay refunds to the customer's account. To hold on to the customer's money for up to 10 days is unacceptable and a poor business practice. To date still have n received my refund. Shameful. read more

19/2023 Final Installment Was contacted by Installation Made Easy. These are the people who I guess, contracted Nicks Tile and Flooring to do the job. Lady was not a bit interested in solving the issue. When she found out I was about 20 days past the warranty period, she ask why I waited until now to call. Understand, I just started the renovation and I don't usually go in and tear up that which was just installed to make sure it was done correctly!?! Couldn't seem to get her to understand the concept. So; with that said, I'm done. But, if you're planning to do anything that requires you to use Floor and Decor; please do. If you can't do it yourself then by all means do NOT; use any of there people they suggest. They are shoddy workers and will probably screw you as they did me. If you do decide to go with them; stand and watch every single thing they do! Lesson Learned for me. Liars! So, I take my box of carrara marble tile back, and one box had a different design. It okd them I wanted to check and make sure they were ths same, and their like " all tile is like that, sometimes you can get a completely white spot and tile even if the rest are gray". FIRST OF ALL - " My white and gray marble veil ring is MORE EXPENSIVE so take that cheap piece of white tile out". SECOND, I paid for a consistent white and gray marble, I spent over $2000, so get me my consistent marble. If I wanted to have differnce types of marble thrown in, but your prices in half! THIRD, It costs the 3 sales rep absolutely nothing to changes so why were they so I distant on lying and trying to make me believe I was paying for a marble floor with 3 different types of tile on it?? Anyways, if they tell you that BS you look at them and tell them to exchange it out AND help you get it to the car. That stuff is heavy. Customer service is nonexistent. Trust, if I could have found my marble somewhere else I would have. I'm not buying anymore from that place, I'm not booboo the fools, as I am a real estate investor, but I know some people might believe that crap and I want them to be informed. read more

We came to the store in Hampton today on the advice of our contractor. We will make sure that he never sends anyone else here. There are multiple people working there but no one seems to be willing to help customers. We finally asked Eli for assist and he showed us the engineered flooring as requested. He then proceeded to tell us we needed to look at vinyl flooring which we told him was not what we wanted. He continued to push that the vinyl sold here is better and different. When my friend had to raise her voice to be heard to say that wasn't what she wanted, he declared her "aggressive" and refused to help her. Said he would need to get someone else. He took over 10 minutes to find help for us. He just walked up and down the aisle instead of getting someone. The aggression was his. He does not belong in customer service... in fact he should not be working here at all. We had to find someone to check us out for the samples we had. The associate started the transaction, and In the middle of ringing us up, walked to a different register and did a return. We stood there for 15 minutes until I flagged down other associate and asked for help. Please do not shop here. The service is terrible and the associates lazy and extremely rude. Management needs to review what is happening in the store. And, I hope that Eli is removed as an employee. read more

Do NOT I repeat do NOT shop here as a contractor and try to pay with a card over the phone. 1st off, it won't happen. They dont do that unless you have a "card on file". If there's a card on file, why would there need to be a phone sale? So, they send you a quote instead. Then you check out with that. Oh,but you have to wait until that processes so the people at the store see a confirmation number and that does NOT happen in real time. I had this situation with the store in Va Beach and the store in Hampton. It is the most unprofessional cumbersome bs system i have EVER had to deal with. And i can tell you that myself nor ANY of my crew or subs will EVER darken a doorstep and ANY floor and decor again. There are far more suppliers that run a much better operation in the area that will be getting my business from now on. I purchased Cherry High Gloss Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Plank - Cork Back Item #100378884 less than a year ago from FLOOR&DECOR in HAMPTON VA . Almost immediately I was disappointed with this product. It scratched and dented very easily. Needless to say I wasted $550 on this product. Now I have to replace the existing flooring with a GOOD product. Customer support is non existent. No one was in the store to assist me in any way. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT FLOOR&DECOR EVER AGAIN and rest assured I will never buy a NUCORE product ever again. read more

I wanted to place an order online for a $40 item for my tile cutting project from Floor &Decor and when I attempted to check out to place my order there was a $104.24 "Shipping & Handling" fee that I would have to pay(total cost $151.86) to have the item sent to my nearest location for pickup?? I was confused by this and reached out to customer service to inquire and was advised "they don't have delivery trucks" and I would have to pay to have it sent to my nearest location. What a "RIP-OFF"! Due to these economic times they make "NO Concession" to accommodate loyal customers as myself who has shopped there for several renovation projects. This is an informative review that I want to bring to any potential customers who shop online with Floor &Decor since all of the stores are closed. "BUYER BEWARE"! Do not buy flooring from this company! Do not select any duralux brand of flooring. They advertise it as completely waterproof and easy to install but it's just a gimmick to get you to buy it. I installed the flooring and only had it for a little over a month and had a minor flooding incident. Had about 2 inches of water that needed to be cleaned up and within a couple of minutes the flooring immediately started warping and peeling!!! It was a complete and total loss. They say there is a warrenty on the product but when confronted with the issue they refuse to refund any money. When I tried to look up the company online, they do not have a direct website for duralux. They send you to floor and decor website which also doesn't have a direct number to the actual duralux company. Management has NO IDEA what they are doing. They gave me a number to a "claims department" and when I dialed the number an automation stating that the number was not in use came up. When the manager dialed the number on his phone it went through. Extremely shady business practice!! $768 is down the drain that I cannot get back. read more

I am writing to provide a review of Installation Made Easy, Accel Unlimited and Brandon Foster. I went through Installation Made Easy after obtaining a brochure at Floor and Decor. Prior to my visit, I had a few contractors provide quotes; however, I opted to use Installation Made Easy based on their branding and guarantee for a satisfactory service. 1) Installation Made Easy provided my information to Accel Unlimited LLC in August 2020. Accel Unlimited sent an estimator who provided the original quote for services. Upon receipt of my order from Floor and Decor in November 2020, Accel sent a project manager to verify that I was in receipt of the correct items to accommodate a kitchen, family room, dining room, foyer, and half bathroom flooring job. Accel contracted the job to Brandon Foster. Mr. Foster came to review the property in early December and asked to move the project to early January as he believed the project would take more than 4 days to complete. So, Accel Unlimited postponed the job twice once the final date was set. 2) The job ended up taking approximately 6 1/2 days to include work on subflooring (paid separately to Mr. Foster). Most days, he worked alone and on Sunday, I received a text informing me that he would return until the following Saturday to complete the job. Additionally, he noted via text that he was going to mark the job as complete in the system. I thought I misunderstood the text as I was dealing with a young child and an elderly parent; however, when I returned home, I found:the toilet was in the living room floor (on the new flooring)the quarter rounds were removed but not the baseboards the baseboards and quarter rounds needed to be installed my kitchen table was on the back porch all furniture was in various places throughout the house 3) I reached out to Accel Unlimited as Brandon Foster refused to return to the home sooner and complete the work. He was approximately 80% finished. Michela with Accel Unlimited expressed that her hands were tied and that Brandon could return on Saturday; however, I did not find this to be a viable option. As a customer, I involved Installation Made Easy as this was not their guarantee. The manager, Amber was unapologetic, unprofessional, and unsympathetic to the circumstances. Her only consolation was to refund me for the unperformed services. When asked for compensation for the inconvenience, Amber insisted that she could not assist any further and refunding me for the work Brandon did not complete was the only option. 4) The problem is Installation Made Easy should not have ever sent Accel Unlimited. During the job I learned, the company was no longer working in the Hampton Roads area; so, they did not have the resources to send anyone but Brandon and with Brandon no longer working with them, he did not have an obligation/commitment to finish the job to completion as promised. The estimator provided the wrong items in the estimate and Brandon said it was not his job to fix that. I offered to pay him for the materials when he picked up materials for the subflooring. The estimator no longer works with Accel Unlimited. The project manager who accessed the materials no longer works with Accel Unlimited. So, there's no oversight in this area and a worry for me that my one year guarantee will not be honored. 5) Aftermath, it's been a few weeks and I've been waiting to see how things pan out. One of the transition pieces seems like it needs to be glued down and a porcelain trash can was broken. After reading this, my recommendation is pretty clear. If you are looking for Installation Made Easy or Accel Unlimited to professional experience, you're better off finding your own contractor and winging it with them. read more

We will never purchase from this business again. We spent nearly $500 and they did not sell us the bathroom tiles that we picked out. The clerks may not be sufficiently trained or incompetent, but for whatever reason, we were sold the wrong tiles. At one point the clerk just walked away without a word. Very bad customer service. We didn't notice the mistake until the installer was at our house and had a number of the tiles installed. At that point there was not hope of correcting the mistake. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Do not buy from ANY Floor and Decor unless you are guaranteed to have a perfect installation (not a realistic expectation) of your flooring within 90 days of purchasing. They will not accept a return beyond 90 days. I purchased my flooring including stair nose in October. Despite the fact the stair nose was not delivered for 3 months and I could not actually complete the job beyond their 90 day return window they would still not authorize a return. If you dispute the return you will call a contracted call center that doesn't speak English as their primary language and make it impossible to understand. So now I have $430 worth of unused flooring that can't be returned. I'm sure they will claim it's because they no longer carry the exact color and flooring, but I'm sure they conveniently renamed the flooring to make it more difficult to return. I will never buy anything from them again or recommend anyone purchase anything from them. Go to a local small business and check their return policy. read more

What pathetic service from what I was told a good place to get flooring. I live over a hour away and been there 2-3 time in the past two weeks deciding what floor I'm going with. Had no problems at all, never had to wear a mask or anything. Yesterday my wife and I had finally decided what flooring we were going with and was about to spend 8-10k In flooring. Go to the door and was denied entry for not having a mask on by a lady who wasn't even wearing hers correctly. Go to truck. Got mask even tho I have a medical condition and I shouldn't be wearing one and came back in. No problems at all. Started dealing with a sales associate who wasn't wearing a mask he couldn't understand Me so I removed mask temporarily to complete the deal help him pull the boxes out and count to make sure they had enough. And he never said one thing or had a issue with me not wearing my mask for that moment. And suddenly the cops were there saying the store manager wants us off the property for not wearing a mask. One cop had a mask the other didn't. The employee I was dealing with didn't have one and a bunch of other customers didn't either. And not one employee came to ask me to put it back on or ask me to leave. They just called the cops. But I was asked to leave while my wife was asked to stay to complete the sell. I decided to take my business else where. I wouldn't give em 1 star if it was a choice So let me get this straight? I get removed from store by cops for not wearing a mask. But yalls employees don't have to wear them properly or at all for that matter? As the employee I was dealing with didn't have one on and the lady at the door wasn't even wearing hers properly? read more

Buyer beware! I went to the Hampton, VA F&D to purchase wood flooring and tile for my kitchen backsplash. The experience was a nightmare from beginning to end. The lady who helped me pick out the items needed for my two projects did not enter the items into the system correctly. She was supposed to enter my larger/heavier items as a "Storage Buy Order." This is because I could not transport those items in my car and was going to come back later with a truck to pick them up. When I returned to the store, I found out that she did not do this and many of my items (which I had already paid for) were not included on the wood slab that was ready for pick-up. Once I made it home and was able to remove the plastic wrap to see all of the items, I noticed that several items were not included. I told the store associates that they could check the store video to see what items I left the store with on the day I made the purchase...Why not, I had nothing to hide and I don't need to steal! I requested to speak to the store manager and he told the sales associate to pull the items that were missing from my original pick-up order. Once my project was complete, I went back to F&D to return the unused/unopened items and was told that for 2 of the most expensive items, I would be given a store credit. WHAT??? It had not even been 60 days and the items had not been opened. Again, I requested to speak with the store manager. Before the manager came to address my concern, I was told by the associate that he would refund me the amount of those items. This experience was awful! I would not recommend F&D, to anyone. If it is store practice to keep the items you paid for and not refund you the money you spend for unused items, they can keep it! I will spend my hard-earned money somewhere else. read more

Heard from our contractor to check this place out for flooring. We were there Friday May 24th in the evening. A tan, dark haired young man "helped" us out. From the moment he started talking I could tell it wasn't going to go well. He kept trying to up-sell us on every product we even looked at in a pushy manner. At one point he asked if I had kids or animals and tried to make it seem like if I didn't get the padding and product he was suggesting that my kids wouldn't be safe. What?!?! He was so pushy that it came across as creepy. I felt very uncomfortable. I understand sales, but we clearly were not interested in all of the additional products that he nearly demanded that we purchase. He was following us around the entire time that we were in the store. He was basically arguing with us the whole time and we went right down the street to Lumber Liquidators, which I suggest everyone reading this post to go ahead and do.
