This place is a big one. Each areas is sort of section off by type, be it kitchen, bath, or living room, add to that by tile or wood. We went in looking for some deals on tile for the spare and craft bedrooms and found some really nice designs for not a lot of cash. We were really surprised at how reasonable the prices were compared to the chain hardware stores. Some of the tiles we found were half if not a bit more than half off what the the chains stores are charging for similar designs. Service was a different issue, as there were plenty of employees running around but we didn't hear a single word from any of them until we flagged on down to ask questions. Either way, the less expensive prices are worth the lack of customer service for us. read more

I've had the best experience here throughout my home remodel. They are so friendly and helpful from floor help to cashiers to managers. I'd recommend 100 times over. Way overpriced. Gave the salesperson a quote, they said they could at least meet it. Ended up being about 40 percent more.

Absolute nightmare. Wanted to have luxury vinyl installed in my home. Was directed to the installation made easy flyer, in which I set up an at home estimate for laying down the flooring. Unique flooring came out and measured - gave me a shopping list on what I needed to purchase from floor and decor. Was told this is the one contractor they use for flooring projects. Not only did he not measure enough flooring, he said I wouldn't need underlayment and measured for baseboards. Day of install I was told by installer I needed underlayment, had to go back to store and get that. Another $300. Took 2 days to complete two bedrooms less than 400sq ft. Already had carpet and tack strips removed. So all it was was laying the floor. Then they ran out of flooring. Had to go buy 4 more boxes. Went back to the store to get that. Finally when the job was complete. The installer didn't bother to tell me that the estimator - owner of unique flooring? Did not measure the base boards correctly. I was told to buy 3" base board moldings. Which I did. This is the result. Cannot return baseboards to floor and decor due to them using them - even though.... Maybe looking at this you would have thought they would have stopped after installing the first one. DO NOT USE THEIR HOME INSTALL SERVICES. You will only be spending more to fix it. Also the stair noses they installed are not flush and I almost tripped and fell down the stairs. So definitely a safety hazard as well. Update: Gave my information.... No one ever reached out. Update: Floor and Decor reached out to Install made easy. We were able to come to an agreement - without their help, I do not believe this would have resolved. Carra listened, understood my design goals, made great suggestions, and knew store stock and where it was located in this large store. (12/2023) This is an update to my previous - 3.5 STARS (so 'rounded down' to 3 stars): Shopped the store on Hulen St, Ft Worth. PROS: Found tile we liked (2 types), at competitive prices to other stores. Micah C., 'designer', was very pleasant, and assisted in ensuring that both types were of the same lot and caliber, respectively, for our large jobs. Pickup, at 2 stores, went smoothly, with a 'shout-out' to the experienced guy at the Arlington TX store who also used a 'push/pull' vehicle to distribute the pallets in our truck. All in all, pretty satisfied with F&D, but see --- CONS: (1) Found that NO ONE answers the phone at that store, no matter when we called - this is a real negative. (2) I repeat: their website 'doesn't work'; I can't get past the first page - Another (big) negative. (PS: They also hv reviews on Google, but couldn't access it for an update) read more

I have been to the floor and decor in Austin and spent thousands of dollars and purchased great merchandise. The new house we're building is closer to the Fort Worth store so we went there. After looking around for quite a while, we did find the flooring listed in the picture. We thought it was a fantastic price at the $2.99 per square foot. I took a sample of the flooring up to the cashier and she scanned it. Upon scanning it she said that she would have to check the warehouse in Houston to see if there was enough of the flooring due to the fact that it has been discontinued. She did check and the Houston Warehouse had plenty of what we needed and we said we wanted to go ahead and purchase all of it. We were told it would be about four or five weeks before we could pick it up. That's how long it would take to get from the warehouse. We were fine with that. When she rang it up the price didn't check out so she got her manager Mason. Mason went and looked and saw what the price was and okayed it and there didn't seem to be any problem at all. As we were going through the register to pay for it, Mason came up to us and stopped us and told us he needed to have the warehouse put eyes on it before we spent that kind of money on a discontinued item. This did make sense so we canceled the transaction. After approximately 5 minutes, Mason came back and said that he did have some good and bad news. He said the good news was that the warehouse did have what they said they did but they were not going to honor the price that was on the samples in his store. They went up over $2 per square foot on the item. He told us that somebody had written in a different price and that it was the only one there that was written in someone's handwriting and not typed. My wife pulled the picture up that she had taken of the sample and the price. We walked back over where we showed him quite a few more selections that had also been handwritten in. Mason apologized and said he couldn't do anything about it and he wasn't going to sell it to us at the price that was listed even though he had already okayed the purchase. The other items that I had to purchase I placed down on the counter and accused him of a bait and switch.  Very disappointed in Floor and Decor for not honoring prices that were marked by their employees. I never would have expected floor and decor to pull a bait and switch. All of the bathroom tiles and backsplashes that we were purchasing through floor and decor have now all been canceled due to the fact that their manager Mason pulled a bait and switch on us. read more

I scheduled an appointment with the Hulen Street design center online after a house fire. I was looking for the whole house flooring, bathroom vanities, shower tiles, pretty much everything. They called the day before to confirm. I arrived fifteen minutes early and waited. At the appointment time, I notified the clerk. She told me to wait at the design center. I did wait for fifteen more minutes and then notified the front cashier. She wasn't helpful and had an unpleasant tone. I told her I had driven over 35 minutes to get there. She said "Marco and the other person must have both called in". She decided to call her supervisor and when the lady came up she said, "I guess we will have to cancel your appointment." Nothing like, "I am sorry they didn't show up." Or "sorry you have been inconvenienced" Nothing other than, "I can't help you and the employees haven't reached out." I am now leaving the store. Maybe this place is decent, and the store was clean, but I just don't think I will go back. Very disappointed, they need customer relation training. read more

I am in the process of doing some bathroom remodeling and I was lucky enough to walk into the Ft Worth store and meet Javona (Well she found me)! I have been to Floor and Decor at the Arlington location many times and never had any help picking out tile. Javona not only helped me with my vision, she helped with grout colors, coordinating other tiles and helping me figure out how much tile I needed. I was shocked when I asked her at the end how long she has worked there and she said six months. She knew so much detail about everything we were doing that I assumed she had been working there for years. Thank you Javona for such a great experience! read more

Never shop here! I'd give them a 0 star but it's not allowed. After booking my delivery for Monday 4/18. They tell me that they are over booked. I tell them that's fine and tell them that to deliver it Tuesday. I schedule my trades. Tuesday comes no call no answer at the store. I drive down there and they tell me my delivery isn't even in the books. I tell them it's fine to deliver it wed and u reschedule all my trades. I ask for a 45 window so I can get someone to the house. They call wed 15 from my house. They tell me they aren't waiting and that it either gets rescheduled or gets dropped. I speak to a manager who basically tells me tough cookies and says the driver will wait 5 minutes and go on their way. I lost 1500 in trade reschedules and a whole week over a driver not waiting 15 minutes. They also left material outside and it was raining. NEVER NEVER NEVER SHOP AT THIS HULEN STORE read more

So I run a flooring Installation business and I do a lot of tile/wood shopping and this is a great place to buy the material but not near the best location. A past costumer of mine when to buy tile from this location and she came back disappointed on how the store manager had treated her in the process of my client picking some travertine material, so sense I refer this store to a lot of my costumers I had to go try the HULEN location while normally I shop at north Richland hills location (great location) Today I go to pick up a pallet of vinyl when the time comes to load it in my truck the loader not once spoke to me he made signs to my helper and I to move out of the way wile we had already emptied the truck bed of any tools or something in he's way and we were standing about 3 ft away from the side of the truck , I guess he wanted us 10 ft away. When the time comes to set the load on my truck I tell him I need the load to be pushed all the way back so the weight can sit on top of the axel and the loader said no the load is fine... now I don't know about you but when I'm carrying 1500 lbs I like the load on my truck to be secure and placed where I needed to make sure I can tie it correctly but thanks to his bad service I will not buy at this location neither the costumers... hope they fix this problem soon read more
