When I was choosing a photographer, a friend of mine had used Kinga and recommended her. Her pictures were fantastic, so I was really thinking about it. The sun finally poked at sunset (it has been mostly overcast), but she was able to get so many beautiful shots before then too. We took some photos near the waterfall and beach! When it was time to view our photos, she had put together a short slideshow and we watched it in her cozy office. We ended up buying an album that she designed especially for us and we love it. Little did I know what a true gift it was for our family. Lisa met our group of 8 at the designated park right on time. She really has a great way of working with both adults and kids and has an eye for focusing on the person but encompassing the beautiful background. We never felt rushed and were able to request specific groups for pictures. We all left feeling really positive and excited. The hardest part was waiting for the results and hoping they would turn out as great as we had hope. The results are in! They are ALL amazing! I researched several photographers' websites, but many of their family photos seemed a little tacky. When I came across Wendy's portfolio, I was impressed by her more artistic and candid style. She uses film, which is extremely rare these days! She agreed to meet us early in the morning, and she suggested a beautiful, secluded beach nearby. It turned out to be the perfect location because we had the entire beach to ourselves. She brought a couple props for the shoot and gave us just the right amount of direction.
