I believe others have pretty well covered this amazing place, but I will add my experience as a skeptic. I was surprised with a trip here by my wonderful sister after an extremely difficult two years, both physically and mentally, and recovering from a recent and very difficult brain surgery which left me with some deficits. Throughout the last two years I have tried just about every traditional and non-traditional method to deal with anxiety and trauma and some serious health issues. Yoga, Reiki, EMDR, meditation, acupuncture, dry brushing, traditional massage and craniosacral, on and on and on and although all of these things did help a little, nothing really "broke through" and seemed long term. I am truly, TRULY in debt to both my sister for this surprise trip, and for the staff at Float Light. There had been a slight hiccup with scheduling which at first left me skittish upon arrival, but the female owner quickly made things right and gave us a tour and led us to our rooms. Everything from the music, to the lighting was soothing. I used the float cabin, and had an incredible experience. I didn't "travel" or see colors or have any breakthroughs like others have, but what did happen is that for one hour I was weightless, thoughtless, calm, and at peace. I even fell asleep for a little while. I left so calm and relaxed, and had reached a point that I had felt was unattainable for me. Even my monkey mind was quieted, which is near impossible for me. I slept so deeply when I got home and napped in the afternoon, and then again through the night, and even into the next day I was exhausted and I had a headache and was nauseous, but in a good way. It was like my body was detoxing. Here I am 48-ish hours later and I am about to schedule another longer float and am bringing my husband. I don't care the cost, or the drive (I live 40 minutes away), but this WILL become a regular part of my self-care routine and healing journey. I know it's going to get better and better each time. TIP: Wear the darn earplugs. I did not and even though I rinsed with the solution provided after, my ears were still "crackly" from the salt that had gotten into my ear. read more

An experience like no other! This was my first float, and I was both excited and apprehensive. From the moment I entered Float Light facility, the ambiance, the staff are so welcoming. You are given a tour and procedures are explained to you. At first I thought I would forget, but was quickly assured, that staff is just a push button away, should I need help or have questions. The float itself was definitely what my soul, mind needed. I felt as though my soul was on a Holiday. (I can't find the right words to describe it). I had the Starlight cabin, which was amazing. as I dozed off, I opened my eyes to see the beautiful stars. For a split second, I forgot where I was! I thought how cool it is, so travel through space. I wondered and hoped that death would be like this. (yeah, my mind was all over the place). LOL. I thought 90 minutes would be too long. I was disappointed when it was over. After the float, I showered in my private shower. All toiletries are provided. (Shower gel, shampoo/Conditioner, lotion, deodorant, q-tips, Vaseline). As you enter the lounge area, in robe, slippers to sit an come and come back from the Journey. There are Journals to write in, coloring books, and books. Whatever you need, including a variety of hot herbal teas. I found myself sitting on the sofa, reviewing my journey, it felt surreal. I became aware that my knees weren't hurting, my back, neck. I realized that I had not been able to lie on my back, without feeling pain and discomfort! I definitely have to do this again. I couldn't wait to share this experience with co-workers and friends. That afternoon, I got home, and slept on and off through out the day. on Sunday, I felt like a new person. Another amazing factor I noticed, the swelling in my knees have nearly disappeared! My right pant leg was always tighter, because of the swelling. What even more incredible? MY husband noticed! That man notices nothing! I jumped on the scale Sunday morning, (the day after my float). I was about 4 lbs lighter. I believe now, that was inflammation. I am ready to book a Float within 2 weeks, and this time I will bring a friend. read more

Going in for my first float I was super nervous. I didnt know if this was going to be some complete flop or life changing. Let me be clear on this, this is typically not my kind of thing but I went with an open mind. Was I going to like it? Could I get my racing thoughts to stop so I could shut down? Well once I got there I had a guide show me and teach me everything I needed to know. He was extremely helpful and answered all the questions I had. I went from super nervous to feeling a sense of belonging right away. This place is clean! Like you feel like you're in a high end spa. Kind of felt important and the vibe there is 100% zen. I think that Float Light might be the best thing I've ever done for myself. Words can't describe how incredible that was. My original plan was to sit under the stars the entire time but once I finally let go, I decided to turn the lights, stars, and music off. It was absolutely wild. You sit there floating like you're in space, while you focus on breathing. The only sound you can hear is the sound of your heart. Complete sensory deprivation. Honest to God, while I was in there I do not know where the time went. All of a sudden a soothing light started to go on and a recording on your speaker telling me my journey was ending for the day. I wanted to hit the snooze button and stay in there. Once out of the pod you get to take a shower and put on a robe. I walked down to the "melow" lobby. It was so cool. Dark lights with stars on the ceiling. I honestly just stood there looking up with a relaxing feeling that took over my body. 100% everyone needs to try this. The facility has such great team members to answer all your questions and make you feel welcome. And again, this place was so mellow and so clean! As I said above I was worried about my racing thoughts well once I surrender to the experience they went away. It was almost like my brain took a break. 10 stars! Worth the drive from Green Bay, you're able to use your HSA, and it is such a fair price considering how much goes into just 1 float. Thank you all so much. I appreciate you all. read more

I've had a gift certificate for almost 2 years for a "Float" from my husband. I was anxious and not sure what to expect, so I kept putting it off. For 2 years! lol Recently though, stress has plagued me and reeked havoc on my mind and body. Even to the point of an ER visit during this pandemic for severe chest pain. I thought I was dying. Yet, that still didn't get me to go. My daughter is such a social butterfly, like so many of us. We've been smashed down with this Covid-19 Pandemic. It too has taken a mental and physical toll on my kiddos, but especially my daughter. Last week she developed stress induced tics. Both physical and verbal. It scared the living daylights out of me. So I thought, mows the time for her and I to try Float Light. We did yesterday! Wowza! It was Covid conscious, and met protocol... so that eased my nervous mind. Then, Dan, our guide, put us at ease for everything else. He was amazing at explaining all that was in store us - and answered all questions before I even had a chance to form the words. Dan was and is amazing!! Our floats were obviously individual, so I didn't hear about my daughter's experience until we were in the Float Lounge after the Float part of the experience. Although each experience is different for each person and their needs, one thing in common for sure was that we loved it. It was BEYOND.... beyond expectations, beyond fabulous.... just simply BEYOND. I cannot ever remember feeling so relaxed and happy in my life. And for the first time in over a month my chest didn't hurt from anxiety and stress. I highly recommend The Float Light. I cannot wait to go again. They are my new favorite place!!! Float Light is mine and my husband's new favorite spot for date night! We love doing the Fire and Ice contrast therapy room. We have such a good time reconnecting in the cozy sauna, then cheering each other on in the cold plunge. We leave feeling 10 years younger, with our aches and pains gone and an incredible boost of energy (and a little more in love). The staff is knowledgeable, and gave us a tour and clear instructions before starting the service. I was delighted to see they have size inclusive slippers and robes, and offer a delicious complimentary kombucha flight with every service. We can't wait to go back again! read more

Had my first experience at Float Light which was a gift from my son. WOW. So glad I found this place. Hoping to spread the word. I'd never even of heard of this before and was a little apprehensive but my son assured me that I'd love it! He was right! If you like massages, try this! If you don't like massages, try this! John was so knowledgeable and accommodating as soon as I walked in the door. He was so welcoming and comforting to talk to. I received my first float as a birthday present and was a little nervous, but all my nerves were calmed and I already started to relax by the time I was left alone for my float. The float itself was extraordinary! I had recently suffered from grief and anxiety and within 20 minutes of floating I was content, I was finally at peace with where my life was. This was my first adventure into Float Light. I am in town for a conference and decided to give it a try. I travel a lot for work and per my doctor, need to find a way to reduce my levels of stress. The facility was absolutely beatiful and the staff were very inviting. The staff have thought of every aspect of care down to the hair ties. The sensation of floating is so natural to our psyche and I immediately fell into a deep sleep. My skin feels hydrated and soft and I my energy level was so much better the next day. I really didn't know what to expect with it being my first time floating, but they walked me through everything I needed to know before floating. I got into the tank and I laid back at first my head was really heavy feeling and then my body started relaxing. I could feel all the tension, stress leaving my body. I also felt very relaxed and didn't feel anxious or depressed coming out of the tank. I will definitely be going back for a second float in the near future. I have a high demanding job, a 5 year old, and a house full of craziness. My anxiety can get super high and I get burnt out so much. I started the floats not to long ago and I have noticed a huge difference in my ability to brush things off. I dont feel like the my daily life is so over whelming. I visited Float Lite with a friend who has had been there many times. I wasn't sure how much I would like it, but I you it was one of the best things I've done for myself. My first float in a cabin was phenomenal. I was able to relax and reset! The amenities at float light were amazing. Not only do you get a full spa experience with a robe, your own personal shower and a chance to freshen up afterwards, you also get tea and kombucha and a chance to use the salt room. This was my first experience floating and Rachel (my Float Guide) was amazing. The facility provides you with everything you need, linens, robe, earplugs, etc.. I got a little warm while I was floating and mentioned this afterwards. Ironically, I over heard someone who had come out of another room complain that they were a little cold. I guess everyone is different. Rachel did say that they could make a note on my account and lower the temperature next time. I will definitely be back and plan on scheduling a massage as well. read more

Everything about our experience at Float Light was fantastic! Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who explained the process and gave us a tour. The spa environment really made the experience extra relaxing and enjoyable. We LOVED being served kombucha in the float lounge while relaxing in our robes! Floating itself was incredible, and felt like floating in outer space-a full mind/body experience. Next time I will be doing an hour and a half vs an hour. The time flew by! Impressed by the extremely clean yet inviting spaces here. Jess gives a very thoughtful and thorough tour and explanation of each area at your first visit. The room with the Float pod is impressively clean, well planned out with supplies making one feel relaxed and very safe. The Float experience is hard to explain, except that I enjoyed it, relaxed, eased my back and neck pain, my skin was so soft afterward and the 60 minutes went by way too fast. I cannot recommend Float Light enough! Their contrast or cold therapy is amazing for immunity boosting, inflammation reduction, and quickens muscle recovery!
