I canceled my membership, but I have been charged the $75 annual fee FOUR YEARS IN A ROW: 2023, 2024, 2025, and now 2026. Every year, I'm reassured that it's been handled and won't happen again. Then the next October rolls around, and there's another charge. These withdrawals have overdrafted my account more than once. I have an email from Charlie dated October 3, 2023, saying the previous owners hadn't removed me from the annual billing list and promising he would remove me and reimburse me. Three years later, under the same owner, I'm still dealing with the exact same problem. I'm currently waiting on $150 in refunds for the 2025 and 2026 charges, plus this year's charge caused another $25 overdraft fee. On October 13, Charlie told me my refund had been submitted and would arrive in "a couple days." It's now October 30. Still nothing, despite following up. The most frustrating part is how much time and effort it takes to get back money that should never have been withdrawn. I've been polite. I've been patient. I've followed up repeatedly. Nobody should have to put "check whether my old gym charged me again" on their calendar every October. After reading other former members' reviews describing similar charges after cancellation, unanswered messages, and repeated promises, I'm even more concerned. My experience clearly isn't the only one being reported. I'm attaching my email and texts so people can see this for themselves. If you're a former member, check your bank statements, even if you were told your billing was canceled. If you're considering joining, think carefully about whether this is a business you want having access to your account. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend it.

As soon as you walk in the lobby, you feel the camaraderie of the people enjoying coffee and conversation after a workout and the always available staff. It has been a great help to me in unemployment by getting me out of the house for regular exercise and human interaction. For those just starting a commitment to exercise, the staff and members help you feel comfortable in your first classes. The atmosphere draws you in to stay with the classes and workouts. For the fitness fanatics the gym has all of the equipment of a top gym plus enough classes for the variety and specific workout you are looking for. The teachers and trainers are all good. The ever present owners always greet you with a smile while making sure the facility runs well and stays clean and well maintained as you would expect from a great facility.

I am a Black card member, and relatively frequently enjoy the perks of use of the hydro massage and use of other facilities. The gym is moderately crowded in the "after" work hours, but nothing like other bigger city PF locations I have been too. I have never had to wait for a machine or treadmill here. Sometimes the area around the weights and mirrors is a bit congested, but usually there's always a bench available to use. The locker room is usually very clean. Fresh flowers often adorn the sink area, and I think that is a nice touch. I've never used the showers at this location, but I think everything looks pretty clean. The staff are quite friendly, and always say hi and "have a good day" when you enter and leave the gym. I don't give 5 stars because it's limited from an overall gym perspective - no pool, no group classes, but it's pretty sufficient for the self-directed fitness aficionado. Free pizza and bagels in the first week of the month are ok...but sometimes you can see the "free pizza" hounds that are only there for free food - that's weird.

Predatory business practice!! I was told "the annual maintenance fee will come out 60 days after signing" and the monthly dues wouldnt be charged until 30 days after signing. Those terms provided by one of their employees completely changed once I provided my ACH information. Any calls to corporate aren't staffed and they refer you to your local gym. They have stopped responding to me and have made unauthorized charges to my card. Pretty slimy. Nothing like trying to retain new guests, work with me, or even ask why I wanted to cancel in the first place! Take your business elsewhere! Hot yoga class was staffed by someone with limited experience. Barre class was staffed by a sub. Facilities are clean. Business ethics, basic decency, and responsiveness - abhorrent.
