My Partner and I drove 35 minutes to visit this Float Spa based on their couples float option! I was surprised to see that it was in the back of a CBD shop, I thought it would be its own location as my only other float experience was in Seattle. The owner was friendly, explained all the CBD products to us and gave us free CBD samples and drinks ! I was mainly excited to try the "Oasis Float Cabin" which is 'large enough for two bodies' and $99 for 60 minutes. I think I misunderstood the description originally online but i was expecting it to be a bigger floating room than just the normal one person one. It is definitely bigger than the "Float Pod" but 'Oasis Cabin' made it seem like it would be bigger. When kyle (the owner) was showing us around he showed us a 'Journal Room' that was next to the float rooms and decorated with nice chairs and a nice ambiance, however i wish i was told to bring a journal beforehand, or had them available to use because he went on to describe how being able to journal after the float is so helpful, but we didn't get the opportunity to do so. The room that we floated in was nice, had an 'Instagram Worthy' vibe with the plant wall, but i felt there were some elements of cleanliness that felt lacking. To me, floating feels like a spa-like 'luxurious' experience and the laundry basket with towels from previous guests and hair on the shower wall made it feel not as luxurious. I felt the room was a bit cold, and i noticed a strange smell upon entering the float room (which may have just been the salt - not sure) I also didn't love the button system that controlled the lights and sound inside the float room, they were difficult to press while floating and required you brace against a wall for resistance to actually be able to press the button - inconvenient especially when floating with another person. The shelf inside the tank with a towel and spray bottle of clean water was an excellent touch though! Nothing is worse than accidentally getting salt water in your eye when floating, they also had some extras like pool noodles and a head support for floating if you wanted to have some extra support for your head or legs. The Shower soap dispenser did not work very well which made it difficult to rinse out the salt after the float. Also there is no brush, detangling spray, or hair dryer for afterward so if you float here, plan on going home after. - i felt like i had to shower again once home to really get the salt out of my hair. Overall, im glad i was able to experience floating at this location, however i would definitely try out other float places in the area before returning to this one. read more

Great location situated in between 121 toll in Lewisville and sandy lake road. Upon walking in, the cute little shop had other products for health, wellness, and certain conditions that one might have including anxiety and depression. They even had a dog supplement area. During the first visit, it was a consultation to show the facilities, explain how the float session might work and go through any other things in my own life that might be contributing to stress. The following session was an hour long where you actually got to float. The owner did a good job explaining the process again and was very helpful. The float session was very peaceful and I think towards the last 20 minutes of it, I might've taken a nap in there. I truly floated the entire time due to the mass amounts of salt they put in the water. It's like going to the Dead Sea and absorbing all the goodness for your skin. I definitely was more relaxed upon walking out of the float session. I would highly recommend to anyone that needs time away from the kids, the spouse, or just the busyness of life. read more

Our 10th anniversary was a day away and we had absolutely nothing planned and reserved. With 5 kids, it can definitely get challenging and like most parents we think of ourselves last. We initially wanted to do a couples massage, but due indecisiveness and late planning we could not find any available couples massage. My husband has been sharing with me about his recent morning routines of showering in freezing cold water, I know weird right. However, it is very therapeutic for the body. We were looking for a getaway near to home that we could just relax for a few hours before picking up our baby from daycare. We called and Kyle was very friendly, accommodating and was able to squeeze in a time for an earlier morning appointment for the ultimate date night/day. This was such an amazing deal that did not make us feel like we were emptied pocket at the end. It consisted of an hour float and being able to plunge and sit in the sauna. At the end of our experience Kyle and his wife had setup the most romantic room for us. There was a charcuterie board, various breakfast muffins, a bottle of champagne to enjoy mimosas. The lighting was dimmed with soft music, it was perfect. We got to refocus on us, our marriage while away from our children. The areas were clean and sanitized. The sauna was amazing with inside lighting, sound and the choice of music or watching a movie! Wow how amazing is that! We plunged a couple times, that was definitely a freeze experience. The float was different, but it was relaxing, we did both get into that very relaxed zone. Soothing and calming! All in all, it was a great morning/day just being able to get away from the norm and being able to try something new and enjoy each other. They really helped to create a wonderful 10 year memory. I research everything. Character flaw? Maybe, but I don't like surprises, so I'm going to keep doing it. I knew I wanted to try the whole floating experience because I'd read so many good things about it. Then came the question of where to go, so what did I do? I researched. I looked into every float spa within a 45 minute drive of my home. I was disappointed there weren't more options close to me. Float Coppell was on the list, as were 3-4 others. It didn't take long to realize that Float Coppell would be the place I'd go based on their website, the pictures of their facilities, and their reviews. I had my first float on Saturday. I chose well. I arrived about 30 minutes early and figured I'd have to wait, but I was able to get right in. Yvette was wonderful. She made sure I had all of my questions answered before my time began. I was given 6 minutes to shower to remove all products in my hair and body. If I have any constructive criticism for this place, it would be to be give more like 10 minutes (especially since I'd arrived so early). I'm a chronic over-thinker, and it takes me a while to shut my brain down, so feeling "rushed" right before trying to relax made it a little challenging to unwind, but I overcame it. Next time I'll shower before I go to get all of the product out of my hair, that way the 6 minute shower will be more than sufficient for washing my body. I'm not going to try to put into words what floating feels like. There are many, many resources available that will do a better job of describing the experience than I can. I will say that I thought I'd want the light and music on. I was wrong. The serenity that came from utter darkness and silence...which is virtually impossible to find in this world anymore...was exactly what I needed. I lost all track of time, so I have no idea exactly how long it took me to hit the "zone," but I did, and it was glorious. I never fell asleep; I knew where I was the whole time, but it was like a surreal, half-asleep, dream state that I cannot wait to get back to. Oh looky there, I did try to put it into words. :) My suggestions to bring with you: 1) Immersible, custom earplugs (if you have them), 2) Comb/Brush, 3) Hair cream/gel for after floating, 4) Face wash. They provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but if you're particular about the products you put on your hair/body, you might want to bring your own. I didn't. Theirs was just fine. I just bought 10 more sessions and am so eager to get back! Try it. You will love it! read more

I just want to start this review by stating that I NEVER leave reviews anywhere. If I had a bad experience, I just move on. If I have a great experience, I just don't say anything. However, I had an AMAZING experience here, and I'd feel absolutely horrible not spreading the word about this place. I booked a couples float together for Mother's Day online, and the package I purchased came with an hour float for you and your spouse, and champagne/snacks afterwards in a relaxing suite. I thought that sounded cool, but was apprehensive on what the snacks would be. Coincidentally enough, the day of our session, the man who runs the place is named Kyle, and he actually called me from his cell phone while he was shopping at Market Street to ask me what snacks I'd prefer after our float. I told him my fiancé loves charcuterie boards and stuff like that, he told me not to worry and he'd take care of it. I never thought someone would call me personally and do a personal shopping trip for me, before my session. So I was already very impressed. Once we arrived that evening, Kyle greeted us very welcomely. He showed us around his shop and even offered us each a free CBD drink to help us relax, if we wanted. It tasted delicious! I don't even take any CBD products ever, but he was so nice and passionate about all his products, I gave it a chance, and we very much enjoyed it. After he walked us to our room and got us acquainted with everything, me and my fiancé got to take a candlelit "rinse off" shower together before we got in the float pod. The float session itself was awesome, a totally new and different experience. I highly suggest this for anyone with anxiety, depression, and even people that have joint problems, a bad back, etc. You really just lay there and float, almost like you're in outer space, pitch black, no noises whatsoever. It's the true definition of "peace". You can also turn on some meditation music and a small, relaxing light in the pod if you want a slightly different experience, both options are there waiting for you with a push of a button. After our float we took another rinse-off shower together, to get all the salt water off. Waiting for us after our shower were incredibly nice and comfortable robes, fresh high-quality towels, soft slippers, and anything you'd ever want at a spa. There were even free hair ties! We were reassured multiple times by Kyle that we could relax, and take as much time as we needed, and that makes everything so much better when you're trying to unwind. After we got dried off, we were welcomed to a HUGE tray that he had personally made us full of fresh fruit, cheese, sliced meat, crackers and DELICIOUS little muffins, just like I had asked for on the phone. We sat down in a nice little room with peaceful music playing, while Kyle poured us our Champaign, we even made a comment about how we wish we brought our own orange juice for mimosas, and he's like "Don't worry! I have some right here!!" and brought out the orange juice for us. After we ate as much of the tray as we could and got all the relaxing out of our system, it was time to clean up and go get our kids. We had already stayed at least 15 minutes after they closed and we felt bad, but he was still encouraging us to stay as long as we'd like. I literally felt like we paid $1,000 and were being treated like we were royalty, it really made us feel special. The effort this man was putting towards us was unbelievable, and I'm only making this long and detailed of a review because of that incredible customer service. If you want to feel like royalty, book a session here. You don't have to do the couples session with the snacks and stuff if you'd just like a session on your own, I guarantee you will still leave feeling incredibly relaxed and taken care off. This man will bend over backwards to make sure your day, week, and life is changed, I sh*t you not lol While we were leaving, he even showed us some more of his products and talked to us about them. I told him I wasn't familiar with any of this stuff, and he even opened up one of his bottles to give me a free sample. I'm like, more free stuff?? Amazing! I don't want everyone thinking they can just go in this man's shop and get a bunch of free stuff all the time, no business can survive that way, but it was just amazing courtesy on his end, and I know whoever goes in there will be taken care of wether you're looking for CBD products, or you're only looking to go relax and float. This place caters to anyone and everyone, and it's incredibly beautiful. The drive home, my fiancé mentioned many times how she just felt so clean, fresh, happy, and amazing. Just went today and it was AMAZING! My husband and I did the couples float and it was an EXPERIENCE. I highly recommend everyone try it. At first I thought there was no way I'd actually relax. My mind is always wandering and I'm not the best at letting myself just chill. But I was amazed to find that I actually fell into a deep relaxing sleep. I felt like I was floating in the air. My float experience here was absolutely incredible! Get ready to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. Bring a change of clothes for after, they will provide you with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels etc. You shower in their beautiful luxury shower area (before as well as after) and then get in your swimmy suit to hop in the salt water. There is a calming voice that announces when it is time to take your dip. Personally 30 minutes was just enough time for my float. I could see getting super into it though and wanting to stay longer. My body and muscles felt relief after and mentally I just felt more clarity. I also slept super good that night! I like how they offer a rate for first time floaters and they also have deals if you want to purchase a float package. I also loved the music they played throughout. One of my favorite health/wellness activity in the Dallas area! We had the most amazing customer service with Kyle. He was so sweet and super funny. Kyle guided us each step of the way and made our experience absolutely amazing. As for the float tank, this was my boyfriend and I's first time and we will definitely be coming back soon! The areas are clean and have everything you could possibly need. The cold plunge was a nice chilly temperature and we loved the sauna. Bonus points for Netflix! I don't get to do it very often, but I've tried several float places and this one is the best....I like that they have the "space pod" as I prefer a float pod to the ones that are more like a rectangle box. Just know you're looking for the "American Shaman" cbd store...its on the corner in a plaza. Both times I've gone everything is super clean, they give you more than 1 towel, and the owner offered me a beverage when I got there which was nice. They are able to answer questions; since I'd floated before they just took me back, showed me the room and gave me a few reminders which makes you confortable. Even though it was storming outside I had a relaxing silent 90 minute float! Highly recommend, especially if you've never tried it and are curious! read more

Was my first time floating and I enjoyed every moment of it. We did a Couples float for 60 mins and it did the job I wanted, making me feel revived. Working at an animal shelter my emotions and mind are everywhere. This place was a nice private and small area to be able to clear my mind. The host (Kyle) was very informative in walking you through the process and had everything you needed there to clean up afterwards. Only con I had was when it was over. Tried their float therapy tank tonight and as avid floater from Seattle I was very excited at their setup. It was just like my float place in Seattle. The room was big with a large shower. I so needed this!!! I came in feeling burnt out from work and this darn panorama we're still in and genuinely feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders. I left with the same problems but they felt so much smaller, manageable and like I had solutions (both work related and not). An hour was perfect but I probably could have gone for longer. I will definitely be back. The facility is VERY clean and the guy who owns place reminds me of Oaken, the ski shop guy from Disney's frozen. Super calm, kind and hospitable. People who are mangers by profession should totally give the gift of floating to their employees. It would be an instant morale boost and get the problem solving juices flowing! read more

I booked a float, looking to clear my mind. From the moment I walked in--I knew that would not be the case here. I was shown the room, and discovered that the door did not lock. The owner gave some bs excuse that he needed access to the room if he had to "get my ass out of there." However--other rooms had locks. It was him finding an excuse to try and overcome my privacy issue. The door clearly should have a lock, but he didn't want to bother putting one on....in an area where the person is nude. Think about that. The music also did not work in my pod--however it worked in the other one? The shower is not "luxury". It's so small there is nowhere to step away from the water to lather yourself--you have to turn the water off just so you don't rinse immediately after applying soap. I went to throw away something in the garbage can and it was filled with other items, probably from a previous client. And unlike every single other float I've been to, this business did not have an area to dry your hair. I had planned to do this, shower, dry my hair and go about my day. Instead I have to go home and do this. The owner is a man, and bald. Perhaps he doesn't have the female perspective on this? Honestly, I don't know; however it's something he should seek. Overall- i was disappointed. Especially with the non-existent lock on the door, and the owners overall dismissive attitude about it. I do not recommend this business. read more

I signed up online for a promotional 7 day stress relief for free. Got contacted by Kyle and was told he would be in the working with a pod so to please text him when I got there and to make myself at home. I replied promptly and that was at 12:05 with my appointment being at 1:00 pm. I show up to their store promptly at 1 and the door is locked and a handwritten sign say they are closed due to unforeseen circumstances. So in less than an hour something happened and they had to close which I understand. But I still drove 25 minutes to their establishment after communicating with them less than an hour before! So my time and gas was of no concern to them when 3 seconds to send a text would have cleared this all up. That's less time then it takes to find a piece of paper and write it out in print to then tape to a door. I think that customer service means something different to them then what I think customer service is supposed to be. read more
