My gold standard for CBD Plus is the Plano location, which has an extremely knowledgeable and…read morehelpful staff. Molly at the Coppell location is at that same level and shared some great information.
It appears the franchise owners select excellent talent and set a high standard as Plano, Coppell and the NRH location (that Molly opened) are all in the same franchise. Fort Worth, Richardson and soon to come Flower Mound and Southlake are also in the same franchise.
If you've been to one of these locations then I think that will tell you a lot about what products are available, the hours and the training of the staff. The Lewisville and Frisco locations are in a different franchise. If you haven't yet been to a location, you can find a lot of that information on their website.
The reason I prefer CBD Plus over all these other companies, is they have people familiar with CBD benefits, more effective products and reasonable pricing. Not all CBD is created equal, and I was not convinced it even worked until trying this company's products. CBD can help with pain, insomnia, anxiety and difficulty focusing.
After suffering from chronic pain for several decades and just dealing with it, I was genuinely shocked to try a sample of the Colorado Cures brand topical at the Plano location and actually feel a difference! They do their own manufacturing so they keep the prices down compared to the competition and can actually tell you about what's in their products!
You can go to American Shaman and get 2 oz of a topical for $110 that does nothing or you can spend $60 at CBD Plus to get 4 oz, 1000mg of Colorado Cures and actually experience relief. They even came out with the full spectrum version recently which is 5000mg for $85. When you consider the fair pricing alone, that's amazing!
They of course have different sizes at cheaper prices (including a travel size for $20) but once I learned how well it worked, I stocked up on the 1000mg. I look forward to trying the full spectrum once I run through my stock.
When using it, I would start to notice pain relief in lesser areas within 20 min and worse areas within an hour. When using it for 3 days I could tell some of my pain receptors were normalizing and I could actually feel the heat from the hot cream in those lesser areas. I would get a good percentage of relief for at least 12 hours. I didn't need to use it daily for it to work, which was great when I was rationing my supply to make it last.
Most recently I've started using their roll on applicator by Brio. It's $70 for 500mg and it's a broad spectrum dermal topical. It gets through all 7 layers of skin and you will feel a difference in a few minutes but it doesn't last that long. I find I use this in those moments the pain is literally taking my breath away. I personally use this in concert with the Colorado Cures topical, not instead of.
Another product I swear by are the gummies. I currently use the Smokiez brand which are 25mg and $20 for 10. It doesn't knock you out or make you groggy the next day, it simply helps to promote sleep. It's just as effective if you take it occasionally or multiple days in a row. This is the one item I wish they would make in larger quantities.
However, it's been my experience that they are continually improving their products and adding to their selection. I see new things every time I walk into a store. They have tinctures of oil, CBD water, a variety of edibles, bath products, cartridges, cones and even dog treats. What will be added next??
Not only did I get to experience products that actually work with CBD Plus, I've recommended the ones that I personally take to others and they got to experience that pain relief too! Of course, I feel more comfortable recommending products to people in similar situations where they are dealing with chronic pain or even insomnia, although I've heard many people who rave about how the oil helped their anxiety.
The topicals and gummies that I personally take and recommend are CBD only and have zero THC in them. However, as they have added products, some of them do have trace amounts of THC so make sure you consult with the staff on what you're looking for.
Other changes since they first opened in the North Texas area is they offer a happy hour (mostly on the oils, bath bombs and coffee) every afternoon starting at 2pm and all day Sunday. The veteran discount is now 22% off if you open a profile.
There are lots of reasons why you might be considering CBD. If you're wanting to try it, let me save you the hassle I went through and recommend CBD Plus and the Colorado Cures brand over the competition and every corner vape shop.
This location is sparkling clean, organized and labeled. There is a comfortable consultation area and unlike some locations, they are well stocked. Molly both knows what she's talking about and cares about your pain. This is definitely a company and location I can strongly recommend!
