Stopped by The Varsity Club on a Saturday afternoon with some friends, and you can tell right away…read morewhy it's a town favorite. The service was excellent...quick, attentive, and full of that small-town friendliness you don't always find anymore. Smiles all around, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. I kicked things off with a sweet tea, and it was just right...refreshing and on point. Food-wise, it landed somewhere in the middle. My friends shared the Buffalo Chicken Dip...looked great when it came out, but it just didn't bring the flavor you expect. The salads, though, were huge and very fresh...definitely a strong point. I went with the breaded spicy garlic wings, and they delivered...tasty with a nice kick. Also tried the Cameo Deluxe Pizza alongside the wings. The pie was fair overall, but they didn't hold back on the toppings, which I can appreciate. All in all, it was an enjoyable time surrounded by friendly folks and a welcoming atmosphere. If you're in Willard, it's worth stopping in...just come for the experience and good company as much as the food.

My friends and I were in…read moretown for the Shawshank Hustle and chose this place because it looked lime it would accommodate for our different tastes. It was a lot smaller inside than we expected but it was nice. We were seated quickly but it took a bit for our server to come. We finally ordered ( nothing crazy - we all got sandwiches). Then it felt like our server just disappeared. One of the other servers heard us talking while she was servicing her table and told us that they had some event going on outside so food was taking longer to come out. No update from our own server. I had to ask ther other server for another drink. It was kind of irritating to see tables that came in after us getting their food before us. Now onto the food - it was pretty good. We all enjoyed our sandwiches. I got a reuben with fries. The rye bread on my reuben was nice - crispy crust yet soft. Very good ratio of meat to saukraut. The fries were eh. Very limp with no crispy at all. I've honestly gotten better fries off a food truck. They look crispy in the photo but they were not. So overall- drink was good, sandwich was delicious but fries were not and service was not good at all.
