The staff was very accomidating and compassionate, and they personalized her service to fit a life story of her. She was a kindergarten teacher for 20 years, and they had set up a childrens desk with kids books, crayons, etc, as well as a beautiful poster sized photo of my mom from my wedding, the guestbook pages were a photo of her dancing when she was sixteen, and the plaque was beautiful- a collage of her young and at sixty. They took the time for personalized programs of her life story, and were very accomidating to our family. They were able to take all the pain and sickness she had been enduring over the last five years, and make her look beautiful, young and healthy again. The website is also beautiful, offering condolences, information about the service, obituary, as well as a photo gallery and an area to share a story. It's so hard to not have her here, and the grief is horrendous, but at least Martin Funeral Home, and its staff, gave her the beautiful ceremony that such a lovely and wonderful lady deserved.

I met with the Funeral Home to pre-plan arrangements for my Mom who was nearing end of life. The staff, particularly Libby, was so knowledgeable, very kind, and almost like family. The day we had to make the arrangements for the actual funeral, Libby went thru all the details. She was helpful and compassionate during a very difficult time. We went over details, and talked a lot about my Mom's life. The day of the funeral we were blown away by the attention and detail the staff took to make this a beautiful, special day to celebrate my Mom's life. Little details that were so meaningful. My Mom looked beautiful and the staff was so attentive and again so sincere and gracious. If you are looking for a funeral home that will exceed you expectations, this is where you should go. Both of my parents were buried out of state which added to the work that the funeral directors dealt with. They were very helpful to us and very efficient. We have used their services a few times in the past and, once again, they DID NOT disappoint. Craig Pickelman, and his staff were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with sensitivity and ease needed during this difficult time for us. It was not easy for us the day Tyler helped us select a casket, the print work, provide information, etc. We never felt rushed, prodded, or like we were just the next in line. All the logistical items were clear, and his patience was never-ending with four sisters asking questions and making decisions. He explained everything in detail. He definitely took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was so very much appreciated and comforting. Wilson Miller helped us provide a funeral that was absolutely perfect for our dad, they not only showed great respect, and care throughout, but were so compassionate. They walked us through, or handled for us, details we didn't know were needed. I will quote my brother who is not from the Midland area, consequently, has no knowledge of Wilson Miller but said they are "Top Notch", from having someone stationed at the door for people coming and going, to making sure the coffee was filled at all times. If you need a funeral home to actually assist you during the tough time of losing your loved one and one that makes you feel like they sincerely care about what you are going through, this is definitely where you want to be. I highly recommend them and their chapel is lovely and clean. We cannot thank Craig, Tyler, Todd and the rest of their staff enough!
