I would give this business a zero if it were possible. I highly recommend NOT using this facility…read moreif you care about your belongings. I rented a climate controlled CLEAN unit in April 2018 to store furniture, electronics, kitchen appliances, clothing & other personal belongings for my father. As of early December the unit was still clean. On Jan 16, 2019. I visited the unit again to store additional items. The entire contents of the unit were covered in cement dust and a heavy musty smell was present upon opening the unit door. I reported this to the clerk and was told the HVAC system was accidently kept on while their cement floor was being repaired and the dust entered the climate controlled units. I asked to speak with the manager and was refused contact info for him. Instead I was asked to send an e-mail to the facility and the clerk I was speaking with would forward my complaint to the manager for me. I did that and asked for some form of compensation for the cleanup I will have to do because if their neglect. About 2 weeks later this same clerk told me that they are not responsible for any damages to contents or the condition of the unit whether it's their fault or not nor will they give me compensation of any kind. I insisted on speaking to the manager personally and was told that is impossible. What kind of business refuses communication with a manager?? This is most upsetting. I vacated the unit by the end of February. Now I found out that the "clerk" I have been talking with about the whole situation is indeed the "facility manager". Had I read the business card I would have known it since her name is on the card. Very poor ethical business standards and complete disregard for the property of the tenents supporting this business. I will warn anyone who uses this facility to read the fine print on the back of your contract and check your belongings regularly. You will NOT be notified of any negligence or damage to your contents when something like this happens. Better yet - do not rent space here.

Our POD was delivered on schedule to the Middletown location (actually a day earlier than the estimate I was given). I called ahead a few days ago to ask if I could access the contents of my POD and was able to schedule it later in the week to go retrieve my items. At least for this location, the PODs can be accessed between 8am-3pm. When you arrive, you can call the number on the front door and someone will come help move your POD storage box outside with a lil truck--just make sure you bring your key! The manager (whose name I believe was Jim) was super helpful the day my dad and I tried to access my POD. We struggled to open up the pull gate (some furniture had moved in transit and jammed the door) and Jim helped us even push the box open and troubleshoot. Moving is extremely painful, so we were super grateful for his help!

There dates for pick up are not when you need it moved, only when they say they can move it. Until then you live without any of your belongings. I finally gave up and rented a U-Haul for 1/8th the cost of the POD and had it for 2 days. I will never deal with them for any reason due to this experience.

Honestly, I have had "white glove delivery" services before, and Mt. Everest services raises that bar! Even after they had placed the piano where I wanted it, they didn't leave until it was thoroughly checked over, played, and that I was happy. Their pricing was extremely fair, and actually the best price I found, considering the amount of stairs to my house. What really impressed me was the level of knowledge and extreme organization in getting it done so quickly! I was simply amazed in watching them disassemble/move/reassemble so large and heavy, yet delicate! Not one scratch!! I recommend them for any moving, but especially for piano, or anything large, heavy and of value!

Add a door too small to fit and a rotten sunken floor and it seemed impossible. They came and reinforced the floor, took the wheel base off the safe and squeezed her out that door, down the street and into their trailer. Once at our home she fit through our garage door with barely a 1/4" to spare. Very professional, double checking measurements, and taking it slow to fulfill my dream of bringing this family heirloom home. Well done guys.

Steve was attentive and responsive to all of my calls and e-mails leading up to the move, almost immediately. I felt like an important customer! He was courteous and accommodating, explaining everything I needed to know for our giant move. We had thought at first that we would just hire Marathon to load our things onto an ABF trailer, but after meeting Steve and realizing we could trust him, we gave him the whole task! Moving day was tough. We had three floors of furniture and boxes AND a basement. Skinny stairs to maneuver. Tight corners. The guys worked hard and got 'er loaded. Steve kept me updated while they drove south with our belongings. Move-in day we were handed a monsoon rain storm to work in! The guys stayed cheerful and positive the whole time. This is the important thing to me: kind men who I feel I can trust, keeping a great attitude while working hard. And all of our things arrived safely. I'm so very grateful to Steve and the guys.

Given that, we were hyper-diligent during our selection process. We read as many reviews as possible before contacting any prospective movers. Once we narrowed the field, we asked two moving companies to visit and provide a quote. Weaver was one of them. Tony from Weaver drove 3 hours to provide our quote. He and I walked the entire property identifying each item that was to move and those that were not. Tony made recommendations along the way regarding best practices for packing certain items as well as informing me about certain items that were not eligible to ship on their truck. We then sat down and Tony walked me through the quote process as well as the move process, should his company be chosen. I asked a lot of questions and Tony had plenty of answers. I received Tony's quote the next day. Tony's quote was 30% lower than the other guy. My wife and I felt comfortable with the Weaver quote, so we selected them. During the downtime between selection and the move, Tiffany sent me regular reminders to make sure we were well prepared for move day. The day of the move, a team of 3 showed up. Darryl, Nick and Ryan showed up exactly on time. Darryl introduced himself, as well as the other two men on the team. I walked Darryl around and showed him the task at hand. I should mention, my wife and I have accumulated a lot of stuff over the past 23 years, so this wasn't going to be a cake walk for the Weaver team. Once the team got the lay of the land, they got quickly to work. No BS, no phones out, just heads down and working. Their pace was extraordinary. I ordered lunch for the team, and they barely stopped moving long enough to take a few bites and keep loading. It should be noted that these gentlemen started their day very early. They arrived in the early AM after a 3-hour drive. By midday they had loaded an enormous portion of the house. By the end of the first day, they had loaded everything but the garage. In this day and age when a strong work ethic is almost impossible to find, it was incredible to see three men perform so much work. I stuck round for a while to do some light cleaning, and inspect the walls for any scuffs or dings that needed to be repaired, (there were none). I then headed to the hotel for the night. The Weaver team was back at it early the next day. They wrapped up before 11:00 AM on day 2. Darryl and I reviewed the house to make sure nothing had been left behind and once confirmed, the Weaver team hit the road. One of the selling points for my wife and I was the fact that we would have the same team loading and unloading. We had worked with movers who brought on contract workers to unload at the destination. Take my word for it, that's a nightmare scenario. It was comforting to know Darryl, Nick and Ryan would be unloading our belongings at our new home. Immediately following the closing, my wife and I headed over to the new house and met Darryl and team. The universe had brought us rain that day, so the Weaver team was going to be challenged with the elements as well as the weight of the load they had delivered. They got straight to work protecting our house from the wet weather. The floors and carpets were all quickly covered with some form of protection. Once the protection was in place, the Weaver team quickly began unloading. We had an extra team member, Graham, today to help speed things up. The Weaver team quickly and carefully put everything in place. I'm happy to say that we haven't opened a single box with a damaged item. My wife has an extensive collection of crystal, and I have a large collection of cobalt-blue glass that belonged to my mother that all arrived unscathed. No dents in the walls at either house, no nicks in the furniture, no missing items. What a relief. If you're part of the sad, pathetic population of people who have been taken advantage of by unscrupulous moving companies, or if you're just looking for an amazing mover that will take the stress out of the process, Weaver is the team for you. I can't recommend them enough. First class from the office to the field.
