Amazing hidden gem of a coffee roaster! Flight's selection of beans is fantastic, and their staff is great at explaining coffee and tasting notes. Prior to the pandemic, they had a tasting room where you could go to try coffee and talk about it. It was a great way to spend a Saturday. I can't wait for them to bring that back. They expanded the shop at the beginning of the year and now have a lovely espresso in addition to pour-over coffee. Their espresso drinks are all fantastic, and go great with their homemade cronuts! They do not allow indoor seating at this time, but they have some outdoor tables and chairs nestled among the trees, and it's a great place to spend some time on a fall day. I can't say enough good things about Flight. Everything is top notch, from the beans, to the drinks, to the location, to the staff. read more

Omg!!! Love love love this coffee shop. They have the most delicious pastries & sandwiches and they even offer vegan and gluten-free options which is important to me. Their coffee is fantastic and just in general the vibe is very mellow and everybody is so super nice. We make it a special point to stop in there whenever we can even though we don't live anywhere nearby. Highly recommend this coffee shop! We stopped by on our way into Manchester, and this was easily some of the best coffee we had in this area. Everything about the atmosphere is friendly and warm. Love that they have a chess set, gluten free scones, and seventh generation soap in the restroom (nothing kills a vibe like that industrial pink soap). Only wish is that they would be open on Sundays ~ we swung by Sunday to grab a coffee on our way out, and were disappointed to find that they were closed. read more

On a Friday morning, when it wasn't busy and with plenty of staff working, it took 20 minutes to receive a toasted rosemary bagel with cream cheese. There was no apology or excuse given at that time. But... the owner has since apologized and a refund is on the way. read more

I don't often write reviews. But Flight Coffee gets 5 stars. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had, consistently delivering across a wide variety of regions and roast levels. There is a wealth of information about each coffee, including details on the farms and stories about the humans who work so hard at the trade. Additionally, and without too many details, the company is extremely transparent, and has great customer service. Living in NC, I only have access to coffee by mail, however the pastries look very good online. I did once visit the shop in Bedford (before the expansion) and was offered a free tasting. It was a very nice experience and kept me a repeat (mail) customer. read more

I came into the shop mid day on 8/4, plenty of people working, none of them helping customers in the roughly 8 minutes I spent in line. 4 to 6 employees behind the counter talking with one making coffee for god knows who and two additional out front reviewing the food case.. My family visited this Coffee Shop 3 times. The first time we got a donut, bagel sandwiches, and coffees. The donut was really yummy and the sandwiches were very messy but good. The coffee was good too, BUT the service was awful. The barista was a younger guy who just seemed soo annoyed that we bothered him to take our order. We had never been there and asked a few questions about the coffee. Everyone has a bad day and there is a nice outside covered area to eat or drink your coffee on a rainy day, so we went back. Our 2nd trip was ok, we just had coffee and it was good. On our 3rd and final trip we waited in line and again got up to the counter to be rudely treated by another younger guy (We're not sure if it was the same guy previously or a different younger guy). Flight was out of bagels and we stood in line with the intention of ordering sandwiches but then when it was our turn he whispered to the other girl at the counter in front of us discussed that and then turned to us. After waiting in line we were not going to hold up the line without help from him and try reading to find another option. Him giving us the 'you're bothering me and holding up my other customers'. Made us decide to leave. We just don't need to visit any business that makes their customers feel bad :( There's plenty of other good coffee places not far from here with good food too! read more

I love that they welcome young people and encourage them to engage with the community. I love Flights donuts and food. 10/10 experience for their food! I really enjoy the vibe of flight, its a great place to work and get things done. Their coffee is fine, I don't think it's extraordinarily special, but it's okay. The staff is friendly and kind. I've had some mixed experiences with their espresso bar staff. When the line is out the door the staff is on top of it! However, when Flight isn't packed, the baristas are kinda on their own time. If you're looking for a laid back experience this is your place! If you're rushing and trying to get a coffee to go, give yourself a couple of minutes extra to wait. read more

This place is a gem. I've found much of this week's cruise through New England to be quite beautiful but in terms of coffee: pretty underwhelming. These guys do it right. The folks at Flight are roasting & serving speciality coffee at a high level, while engaging with customers in a kind and inclusionary manner. It's rare that I find a cup of coffee that makes me audibly say "whoa" and stop in my tracks, but that's exactly what Flight Coffee did from the first sip. I stopped by their location thinking I'd grab an americano and run out the door, but I was immediately struck by the decor. The entire shop is designed with an eye for educating customers about the way they experience their coffee -- which speaks to the mindfulness and care taken by the owners/staff. The friendliness of the staff must be mentioned as well. Both people behind the counter were friendly, easygoing, and obviously professionals. The best part is that both staff members seemed genuinely happy to be there! I've never written a Yelp review, but this place is a must-see. Reading pre-pandemic reviews, I wasn't surprised to learn that the staff hosts coffee tastings. That sounds like a wonderful way to spend the morning, and I hope those tastings return when it's safe to do so! Currently, they have a curbside pickup option for customers. read more

I loved absolutely everything about Flight Coffee - from the decor, to the friendly staff and on to the amazing cronuts and coffee. There is nothing I could complain about. Hell, I even loved the blue floor (reminded me of space!). The wall art is amazing. I loved the Lego displays and messages. There was a line but it moved quickly. You have to try one of their cronuts (remember when that was a crazy fad a few years ago?) because they are out of this world. I've never had such a flavorful cronut or seen so many different flavors. I tried the blueberry and the raspberry and both were yummy perfections. Even later in the morning when I stopped in they had a great variety so you don't have to be there first thing to get a good one. If you're a coffee lover then this is the place for you! So many options. I had never heard of a moon latte so I went with that and it was so cool and good. It's made with strawberry milk which is certainly unique and works amazingly well with coffee. Went in on a Saturday, and met Tom, one of the roasters. He took us through a free tasting of several coffees and answered all of our questions about them. He taught us the proper ways to store and handle them, details about the regions they come from, what gives them the unique flavors and how to taste and experience different coffees. Went here when I was dropping off a friend at Manch airport. Thought it was a cafe like the one in Dover but it was definitely the roaster hub! The kind man made me a fresh drip hot coffee but it's definitely not setup to hang and sit. I was the only person there as it is where they roast the beans! It's in a random industrial somewhat hidden spot. Great coffee though! read more

Wow! The customer service here is awful. They scammed my 10 year old and husband. They ordered some cronuts and a latte. My husband took the baked goods to the car. My daughter waited for the latte. Then asked for it because it was taking a while. The girl behind the counter said they hadn't ordered a drink. She tells my husband who comes back in and pays. The latte finally comes. When he got home he looked at his emailed receipts and finds he paid for two lattes. This place is awful for scamming my poor kid. The chocolate covered cronuts were "salted" and tasted awful as if someone had dumped a can of Morton's on them. This place has been open for too long to be making mistakes like this. Management must be bad to train staff this poorly. read more

I'm giving them 5 stars because I don't want to be unfair. I just want to be able to TRY IT (that's right, I've never had it) but they're never open outside typical working hours. I work an 8-5 job m-f and they don't open until after that (except on fridays but I have to commute) and they're not open on weekends. :( I've seen all the hype and I want to partake. When we arrived I was impressed with how safe they're being with Covid and were only doing call in and online orders. We tried their Cronuts and they're seriously the best donut I've ever had in my life! Their drinks were delicious too!! Freshest tasting roasted coffee I've had. This is not the cafe, but you may try one or two of their coffees before you buy. If you enjoy Starbucks or Dunkins, you may be taken aback with the taste of the coffee due to its freshness. Starbucks and Dunkins and others of their ilk often use quite old coffee (ie., old in the sense it has been roasted quite long ago, well beyond a month or quite longer). It's a wonderful experience, to sip rather freshly roasted coffee. And different! Try it if you enjoy coffee. read more

A hidden gem! Stopped in to Flight Coffee for fresh, locally roasted coffee beans-left with amazingly delicious coffee beans, newfound knowledge, friendly interaction, caffeine in my veins and a smile on my face. The staff here was as made for coffee as the beans themselves. They brewed up a few different samples for taste and comparison, answered any questions I had, and made the experience educational and wonderfully inviting. Their mission and passion is transparent and a breath of fresh air. Nothing like it around. Definite recommendation for coffee lovers, enthusiasts, or if you just want to try a new experience.
