Spent more time chasing referrals and pointing fingers than I care for. Not with NP Nicole Adams and Dr. Chase and Hutchins and their staff. Their staff is top notch - prompt and thorough. We're new to the area and found Dr. Peterson through our insurance network. We love Dr. Peterson, and we love her assistant, Justine. For the most part the front desk seems efficient enough - my only interaction being checking in and out, and they always seem slammed so really not too much to go on at this point. I show up today with my daughter in tow for scheduled shots. Long story short, the doctor who was supposed to sign off on these shots got called away on an emergency. Of course, I understand that; things happen. However, I was not notified of this and had not only made the twenty-minute trek to the office on time but had also rearranged my schedule last week when making this appointment, only to be told of the emergency in that moment and "could we reschedule?", as if I had a choice. Life is hectic, this I know, and is always full of little interruptions and changes. The front desk of any medical office is always buzzing, but it's really poor form to overlook giving scheduled patients a head's up on changes to their appointments. It's making me nervous that we've just recently established ourselves with this group and are already having to deal with something like this. I guess I'll have to set a reminder to call before our appointment to ensure that someone will be available as scheduled. But then, wouldn't that mean that I'm actually doing their work for them? Like I said, I really want to like this group...

When contacting billing they admitted it was due to negligence on the part of their billing team and not a mistake. So two years later without an easy way to check to the validity of the bill I'm paying more. Obviously they made a mistake and I owe, but they decided I should pay for their mistake and not themselves. I don't recommend them.

I want feeling better so called Doctoroo this morning to see if I could get an appointment. Not only was I able to, but got one in less than 3 hours- incredible. Provider explained everything in great detail and why I needed fluids. To be able to lay down, on the couch in my own home was amazing. This scardy cat of needles is now converted. If I would have gone to the ER, I would have waited forever, and risked catching something else . Insurance ? Yes they take! $10 co-pay. I have color back, feeling a little better and definitely grateful for Doctoroo and their services. If you are looking for fast, QUALITY, medical care, look no further ! Cannot recommend enough.
