Santi encouraged me to stay focused and to endure and persevere with weight training and encouragement to do our bodybuilding show. It was hard work and I cried as I did not know if I could make it through, but he did help me make it through. My first show was at 54 and I did two other shows after and I look so good at 60! Thank you Santi! May the Lord bless you always, you are blessing.

I can't say enough good things about Body by Santi…read more First of all, Santi is an extremely knowledgeable trainer and bodybuilder. He's a certified personal trainer, has won many, many competitions himself. This gives him not only the education and training he needs to help you reach your fitness goals, but also the personal knowledge that comes with having walked the walk. Santi's personality is secret weapon. He is friendly, nonjudgmental, and exuberant, knowing each of his clients by name. As you're working out, he will check on you regularly, offering advice and encouragement. You never use his gym without feeling that support. One important aspect of Body by Santi is that he's expecting you before you even come in for your workout. Your "tools" will already be set up, and each exercise will be explained and demonstrated to you (more than once, if you happen to forget what you're doing). That level of professionalism gives me confidence that my goals, as well as my wellbeing, are being carefully thought out. If you're thinking that all of this must be pretty costly, think again. I've been to three other trainers in my lifetime (two at private gyms like this, and one at a large chain), and Santi's prices are MORE than affordable. Lastly, you should know that Santi has clients of all ages and fitness levels. He runs his gym with an extremely non-judgmental ambiance, and clients appear to emulate that, following Santi's lead in providing a safe space for everyone to achieve their desired fitness level. I never thought I'd actually look FORWARD to going to the gym, but Body by Santi changed me into someone who does.

I have lost 20 pounds, and I can do a "real" push-up for the first time in my life! I don't know how she does it, but she has a customized workout planned out for every session, and is always adding what I call new forms of torture, so it doesn't get boring. Lisa has seemingly endless energy, and is a constant source of encouragement. She trains everyone from athletes (she's also a high school track coach) to middle-age folks trying to stay in shape (me) to people in their 80's. Lisa is a trainer at Anytime Fitness on Brentwood Blvd. But even if you're not a member there, you can contact her and she will work with you to incorporate the cost of a membership at Anytime Fitness into your personal training fees. She is certified with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and also with the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). She is knowledgeable about nutrition, and can help with your weight-loss goals.

I prayed for a miracle to help us find someone that could make a difference for my dad, and thank the Lord I found Dawn on Yelp. I reached out to her and she was the sweetest right away. She works with my dad 3 times per week. She has made an incredible difference with him. He is able to stand and march in place, even with a remaining leg contracture from surgery. With her help, the leg contracture has released more than we ever thought possible. He is really strong and healthy now. More than that, Dawn is an angel to communicate with. She's the highlight of his week because she's so sweet and empathetic, and makes the sessions so fun and enjoyable for him. She's a light in both our lives, and we are so thankful for her. Some people are blessed with different gifts and her gift of empathy and helping others-along with her amazing skillset and experience- is truly incredible.

Linda is laser sharp at analyzing your physical condition and goals, and crafting and implementing compatible exercise plans. She is incredibly professional and well educated, but also seems to have that rare touch - a natural as a professional trainer. Hands down, Linda is THE BEST trainer I have ever worked with in all of Northern California! I've worked with other trainers before, and have even participated at Crossfit, but what makes her different from any other trainer is that 1) She genuinely cares about her clients and their fitness goals, and 2) She makes SURE that you are able to get the best workouts, with the right amount of intensity (and it varies with each person), SAFELY. She knows what she's doing as your trainer, even when you don't. Because of her, I not only reached my fitness goals, I went beyond them. Thank you Linda!!

I've never consistently worked out in my life and this couldn't be a better fit (personality wise), as she doesn't make you feel like you're the one being trained- more so like you have a partner in the workout journey. Her positive attitude and encouragement keep me motivated and engaged- I went from twice a week to nearly every weekday. I highly recommend Marilyn to anyone looking for a dedicated and effective personal trainer who genuinely cares about their clients' success and brings a fun, positive vibe to every workout.

I'm almost six months postpartum, and training with Marilyn has become one of my favorite parts of the week. One of the best things about our workout sessions is that I can bring my baby along. As a new, first-time mom, finding time to work out is a huge challenge, and if it weren't for Marilyn, I don't know how I'd manage. Not only is she super caring and sweet, but she also pushes her clients to do their best. I always leave feeling like I got an incredible workout, and she tailors everything to my comfort level. I sometimes do Peloton workouts at home, but it's just not the same as working out with others or having a trainer who holds you accountable. Marilyn even provides a fantastic meal plan and an app to help track calories and offers home workouts through the app, which makes it super convenient. She also takes measurements at least once a month, which really helps me stay on track. Plus, she looks amazing, which is so motivating! Since training with Marilyn, I've lost about 10 pounds, and my body fat percentage has dropped by 4.6%. I know if I were stricter with my calorie intake, as Marilyn recommends, I'd likely see even more results, but my main focus right now is just moving my body and having fun! My baby and I genuinely enjoy every session, and we've met so many lovely ladies.
