No way the protein amount is what they state - I weighed the chicken in one of my meals and there was barely 2 ounces on a meal that was supposed to have 35g of protein. They refuse to send out ingredient info on the protein bakery treats - isn't that an FDA requirement? Protein bakery treats came in enormous box, loose, and warm. They bounced around inside that box until the cookies were all broken up. No label, no ingredients, no nutrition info, no ice pack, just secured by a rubber band. Saw an ad on Instagram. Trying to stay healthy easier. Meal prep delivered. I try it once. I see a charge 2 days later again for $117.00! I contact to cancel. Won't let me speak with a manager. To cancel on something I never subscribed to, which they call a vip plan. How can i be subscribed when that never showed on the screen and 10 weeks of meals and ive never even tried their food before How do I know if I even like it? And im already commited for 10 weeks? Thats 3 months and over $1,000 gone! they want an additional $200. So now I have $117 gone another's $117 gone and they want another $200 thats almost $500 in 4 days and they won't let you cancel for 10 meal plans. That's $117+10= $1,110.00 gone and the food is not very good even. I don't have any account with them, can't login. Terrible customer service! This Is the first review I've ever done on any company. They tick you into thinking the promo code is the price you will pay, then they don't tell you that you have to make a minimum of 4 orders before they allow you to cancel. I literal placed the order, got the email that said i had to get 4 afterwards. I called them and said i would like to just cancel it all together if i cant get just 1 week because who knows if i will even like it. They said only way is to pay them 200$ to cancel it 5 mins later before the company has done anything. Also the 2nd week they charged me more. To top it all off the food taste like dog shit. I was really looking forward to having my meals prepared while in Tallahassee for work, and a plan that would allow me to eat healthy during a time when my time is limited to cook my own meals. Using the iPad I signed up, and then when I went to choose my meals I found the descriptions were very limited and I attempted to cancel my order. Customer service the next day explained that the meals were described, and once looking from the computer I saw she was correct. I asked her to deliver on Sunday, and keep the cancellation for the following week so I had the opportunity to test the meals. Tiffany said they would deliver on Sunday. Sunday came, and no meals were delivered. I emailed Sunday night, spoke with Tiffany Monday morning. She seemed incredibly confused, and said there were a lot of problems and she was having trouble keeping up with all the calls she was getting. She then offered to just refund my money, but I asked for the food to be delivered that day and try once more. She called at 4 and said food was on its way. I got home 2 hours later (my roommate had been home before that) and no food. So I emailed, and called Tuesday morning. She told me she had a picture that showed it was delivered and it must have been stolen. And that she wouldn't refund my money. I asked for her supervisor, Jared (who said he owned the company) and he refused to refund my money, and said it's not his fault the food was stolen. (It's a gated community.) I told him to file a police report, which he said he wouldn't do. I again asked for my money back, he told me I was rude and he wasn't helping me. Should have read all the customer service reviews before I ordered. So glad the internet is out there so I can warn people about this scam of a company. The meals are very good and the timing of delivery is good. However, the calorie count is completely off. I signed up for the "bulking" plan and get meals anywhere from 300-580 calories. The 580 calorie meals when weighed are really about 400. The calorie count shouldn't be that inconsistent, especially when the bulk plan is the one that offers the most food. We tried contacting the owner and received no response. I would rate this 3 1/2 if I could. The meals taste good but the issues we had above are a problem. read more

Customer service is one of the worst i have experienced with an online entity. After having mistakenly ordering a duplicate subscription the company will do nothing to stop the duplicate orders from coming. I didnt ask for refund of the food sent, just simply that they cancel the duplicate and keep my normal orders in process. I dont have the financial availability nor space to store this amount of food. I am throwing food away because they will do nothing to help. A friend of mine orders your food too, and it was rotten last week. Yummy.. Safe to say once my subscription is up, myself as well as my coworkers will no longer use your services. Work on your canned comments for customer responses your "chat" feature is a joke. Focus on customer service to keep a subscription going, dont trap them in a corner. read more

They sent food saying it would be delivered Friday, turns out it was delivered on the following Friday so I had to wait a week and a half (my fault for not understanding the process). I just wanted to try the meals for a week to see if I liked them but I guess I accidentally signed up for a subscription plan. The first set of meals arrived with no Ice and very warm (sitting in a truck all day). I wasn't about to take a chance eating that food. I contacted the company and asked them to just cancel all the future orders - they told me they would only do it if I paid them a $200 cancellation fee. I have now tried three different meal prep plans and FlexFood is by far the worst, their customer service alone makes me never want to use them again. Just be aware they ground ship your food over several days and if it thaws and spoils, it's not their problem but you can pay them $200 to stop charging you for future meals. read more

This food service is an absolute scam! I have paid for 3 meal deliveries and only received one. They said they would refund me but only gave me a $10 credit. They refuse to let me cancel stating that I have not met the minimum order requirement to cancel. Absolutley go in the opposite direction, this is a terrible company and do not respond to customer service emails timely, if at all. Tried a subscription for 4 weeks. Their coupons and/or discounts are not well represented at the weekly cost went up $40 after the first week. Although at one point it said "we" (the customer) would have to enroll again after 4 weeks it did automatically anyway. On top of that the food wasn't good at all. It took days to get a response. They have avoided my calls, and I know it was intentional because I get an answer when I call from an unrecognizable number. The service was simply AWFUL. The company is difficult to get in contact with and indifferent towards their customers when you do reach them. 3 out of the 10 days I held my subscription, my food was delivered to the wrong address. The driver was given the correct address, however he somehow managed to deliver the food to the hosue 3 houses down multiple times. When I didn't receive food the first few times, I contacted the company and they insisted that they had delivered the food. They seemed unapologetic and skeptical that I was telling the truth. I only found out that they were delivering it to the wrong address because our neighbor kindly contacted me to let me know they had mysteriously been receiving food in my name. Flex Foods then told me I would receive three additional meals to make up for the missing food. Yet when I cancelled my account they told me they could do no such thing, so they offered me a refund for those 3 days. It then took two weeks to receive my refund. Food wise, the food was OK, but nothing to write home about. I had ordered the "super bulk" plan yet some meals seemed significantly smaller in portion size. None of my meals looked anywhere near as good as the picture posted from another reviewer. I won't even give them a rating. I went online and choose to skip the next week meal because I would not be home to receive the delivery. Well a couple days go by and i get an email saying my meals are being prepped. Tried calling no answer so i emailed and then chatted on the live chat help thing. They said there wasn't anything on the system stating me skipping the meal. And that i needed to do it on a certain day by 12 am. I took a screenshot of my email I got stating I skipped until the prior week. My card was charged....and they said they would talk to whoever they deal with and they would get back to me. Never heard from them. So meals got delivered 92 bucks down the drain and it stunk. My first order I received....the way they ship things is horrible. I get trying to be environmentally friendly, but the box was completely soggy and the meals not cold. What they do is use pieces of style foam place in the box and throw two some ice packs on the food. So it is not leak proof. And it's just asking for foodborne illnesses. Customer services sucks. So I canclled my subscription. And then two days ago, i received a text saying there was a mistake in the system and they would give me 30% off my next order if i signed back up How about you give me my 92 bucks back? I will stick with Freshly's the meals are great and they are still very cold when delivered. read more

Overall assessment: When you sign up for flexfoods you are paying delivery of average food with a little bit of calorie management mixed in. Depending on how lazy you are, this may be enough to get you to buy in but soon you will find you have uneaten meals stacking up from those days you went out to lunch with coworkers. I used flex for a few months then quit. I found the food fine but soon noticed everything they make tastes the same. Compounded with that fact that you are locked in to a certain number of meals each week (up to 28 meals a week, the best value!) Can you imagine eating the same boring stuff every week? Flex foods delivers-literally, and figuratively. The food is delicious, and there are plenty of options to choose form. Their website is well organized giving me the opportunity to change my preferences which reflect in my meal 24-48 hours later. As a student, it is within budget. I had kept track of my food bill for a few months, and saw this as a penny saver but time saver as well. I am gym nut, and I want my hard work to show. That can't happen if your diet is 100%. Flex foods is allowing me to do that as a student. So, when you say that it is too time consuming to cook a healthy meal, let them do it for you. No excuses anymore! I am finishing up my third week, and I am loving it. If there is ever an issue, they are quick to respond! There is very little lag time in communication. When you're lifting, you're flexing so get onto flex foods too! :) read more

I have been with Flex for just over a month, but I was a Flex OBSERVOR for about a year. I was like any other skeptic and wanted to see results in others before trying it myself. Well I saw the results, I saw the amazing food being delivered, and I was jealous of the quality and variety of food Flex customers were eating. I got a few extra jobs and had some extra cash, and figured now was the time to join. I was too busy to think about cooking, especially cook well and clean. I've lost about 5lbs but I feel great (less blotted heavy and sluggish). I absolutely LOVE my Flex delivery person, Diamond. It's great to see a friendly face bringing me amazing food, while I'm at work. It's different every day... so far they've maybe repeated one meal once or twice. I LOVE IT! Absolute and total scam. Don't trust their Facebook page that shows 4.5 stars, they must've paid people to write those reviews. I called them early last week asking for info, and 2 days later they call me back near the end of the day and offer to provide info on their services. I then ordered their services on Saturday (they are supposed to delivery Sundays and Wednesdays). Well, around came monday with no updates. So I call them, and leave a voicemail.... didn't hear back. Even then I still hoped that maybe they were just waiting until Wednesday. Nope. No call back. So I call them on Wednesday stating that if I don't have my food, or an update by that night, that I want to cancel my service. Here I am 3/4 of the way through Thursday with no food, updates, calls etc. I cancelled my account, and told them never to reactivate it again. If any further charges appear, I will be taking further action. I ordered a bunch of meals from here, They sent me shipping and tracking information. The meals shipped on April 16th. The tracking said they wouldn't arrive until April 22nd. So I contacted them because they have a 2-3 day shipping guarantee. I told her that food can not sit out in the elements for 6 days! And she said, "Well its flash frozen." Okay..... that still defrost ya know..... Well then she lied and said my shipment had not shipped yet. And I told her that I am looking at shipping. Its sitting in so and so city right now. So she told me to just wait and see. It would probably still be frozen. They show up and everything is defrosted. The boxes are soggy, they food is warm to the touch, and it smells. Im so frustrated right now. I get mistakes happen. But to be belittled, and lied to is far from good customer service. As a former driver of this company, trust me when i say dont waste your time or money. The company is poorly managed and very disorganized. The food is ok, but all tastes the same after a while. Ive seen flies on the food and it was still sent out. It sits out for long periods of time. They really dont care about their employees or their customers. Jared (owner) only cares about the money. Good luck ever getting anyone to call you back. I worked there and would go ignored if i had a issue during work hours and would have to reach out for days before finally getting a response. Not a single message, email, etc. I called them 4 times, left 3 voicemails over 2 weeks, and have yet to hear a word back. They took my money, and did not give me the service in exchange. I removed my card info from their site, and if I get another charge from them I will be speaking with one of my lawyers. The best decision I made in my life. I have tried every diet out there and have given up on every one. I heard of flex foods through a Co worker of mine and decided to try it out. For 120 bucks a week I get 3 meals a day for 5 days. Perfect for my busy work schedule. The food is AMAZINGGGGGG. Better than meals I've even cooked. The food is fresh but it doesn't even taste like your on a diet. The way they season and cook everything taste like something you would pay $$$$$$ for in a restaurant. Everything is made fresh daily and they even deliver to you every day!!! How convenient!!!! You don't even have to freeze anything and store it like most meal plans do. I have been doing it for 2 weeks now and have lost 7 lbs already without even working out!!!! This is the best thing if you hate to meal prep and leftovers. You get something different every day!!! It seems like a good idea and it is nice not to have to cook, but you really have to stay on top of them about your 'disliked' foods. I got a food I added as a 'dislike' 3 times after I told them - and it's kind of a big deal when you are on the diet plan and getting a small amount of food - and you have no grocery money to go out and supplement it. Other than that their meats are AWESOME and the staff is friendly and willing to work with you to sort out the problems.
