Called all week to talk to Kevin about my 05 Yukon XL engine potential rebuild. First talked to a mechanic on Monday. Said Kevin is out for a day or two. And to call back if you don't hear from him. Called back on Wednesday. Woman took my same info. Called back on Thursday, again same woman took my message and said he was in Mazama working on a vehicle. I said I'm literally in Mazama as we speak. Probably could have been very easy for "Kevin" to stop by for 5-10 minutes. Here it is Friday 3/27/26 at 7:00 pm. No follow up. But contacting Fletchers came as a referral from a reputable Twisp shop. Not impressed with their follow up. Especially as I called 3 out of 5 days during the week. And no call back. read more

Thank you Kevin! He was a life saver when our check engine light came on during a cross-country road trip. We had been to a few other shops and couldn't figure out the issue before being referred to Kevin. Despite being very busy, he took the time to diagnose the issue (which ended up being a blown fuse lol). Instead of just replacing the fuse and sending us on our way, he spent extra time trying to figure the cause of the blown fuse. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and has great attention to detail. Typical lying, shady mechanics. They damaged not one but TWO brand new steering pumps while installing them in my Dodge. The owner tried telling me both pumps I provided were bad pumps instead of admitting they damaged both of them. I now still have a broken power steering pump after going to their shop a second time and they still didn't fix the issue. They also installed a rack and pinion incorrectly, and if my fiancé hadn't looked under the car and noticed then that brand new part would of been destroyed and needed replaced. The owner, Kevin, is GREEDY. He doesn't care about his customers. Only cares about the money. I am pregnant and need a vehicle to get around to appointments and the state wanted to help me get my car fixed. I brought it to Fletcher's Auto in Omak, WA because they are one of the few mechanics in town that take TANF Vouchers. I was supposed to get two different quotes and give them to DSHS but since my car was not running, I had my car towed directly to Fletcher's and DSHS made an exception to the "two quotes" requirement. I knew that the timing belt was off but asked them to do a full diagnosis on my car. Just to be clear, I am a women. I brought it to this auto shop and spoke with the mechanic by myself, which I regret. Before bringing the car to Fletchers, the oil was leaking from the Camshaft seal and my boyfriend put a new one on the car. I attached the quote from Fletchers. They replaced the Camshaft seal AGAIN. SO THEY KNEW OIL WAS LEAKING BUT FAILED TO MENTION THAT WHEN DISCUSSING THE COST WITH ME. Kevin said the timing belt needed replaced and he was going to change the waterpump and some other things. I TRUST THAT HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. When I got my car back, I had nothing but trouble! The check engine light came on, it needed jumped 4 different times, and then (about a week after picking it up) the motor started making a knocking sound and it started over heating when I was 15 miles out of town. I called them and told them about the probelms and that I was stuck on the side of the road now. The woman there definitely did not want me to come in but begrudgingly said "if you can get a tow here, we will take a look at it". I know they all have trucks there but they couldn't come help me? So we ended up pulling my Toyota camery with a rope and a pontiac sedan... One of the mechanics claimed that "if it is over heating than that means something is wrong with the cooling sysytem, and we didn't touch the cooling system". My boyfriend snapped back with "you guys changed the waterpump, THAT IS THE COOLING SYSTEM!" They tried hard to make it not their fault. So I let them look at it again. Kevin called to tell me that my "motor is completely blown up, there seems to have been an oil leak, so it has just been a TICKING TIME BOMB as to when the motor would blow" SO YOU KNEW THIS WHEN YOU DIAGNOSED MY CAR IN THE BEGINNING AND INSISTED I HAVE DSHS PAY 700 DOLLARS FOR A CAR THAT WAS "A TICKING TIME BOMB" !?!? SO UNETHICAL. NOW I AM PREGNANT AND OUT OF A CAR AND DSHS ONLY HELPS WITH UP TO 500 DOLLARS IN VEHICLE REPAIRS EACH YEAR. THEY GAVE THEM AN EXTRA 200 OVER WHAT MY LIMIT WAS BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO HELP ME.... KEVIN ALSO SAID IF I CAN FIND A USED MOTOR, HE CAN PUT IT IN FOR 2000 DOLLARS ONLY. WHAT A JOKE. read more

This place was my saving grace today, had a bad string of luck with my truck and I was trying to get me and my kids back over the pass after a weekend at our cabin. My battery light came on (after a whole other series of unfortunate events that kept us a day longer than we planned) so I stopped at Fletcher auto exhausted, and overwhelmed trying to get back on the road. They were so kind and got to work on my truck right away and got us back on the road within an hour after changing out the alternator and a bad belt, they even went so far as to call on the warranty on the alternator so I wouldn't have to pay for it. They clearly genuinely care and went above and beyond for me. These are some real sincere good people here and I will recommend them to anyone an everyone for stepping up and helping me out today!!! read more

I am shocked to see only one prior review. Kevin and his crew were fantastic! I can only guess the people living in Omak don't want others to know about this shop, even though it seems everyone there already does. We were visiting family in Omak, and our starter went out on a snowy evening. We went back into the place we were trying to leave, and asked one of the patrons where he's suggest for repairs. Without hesitation, he said "definitely, Fletcher"s." Two others overheard him, and agreed quickly and enthusiastically. So come morning, I took our car in. I entered hesitantly, and noticed they looked really busy. I figured we'd be at the end of a long line. But Kevin Fletcher had a guy on it in minutes, discussed alternative sources and warranties, and had us out on the road in about two hours. For quite a bit less than what we expected to pay. Oh, and it was Christmas Eve. I would never have believed that a car problem could be a pleasant experience, but this is about as close to that as you can get. read more

The check engine light came on just as we were arriving in Okanogan so I checked Yelp for recommendations. The next afternoon we were at Fletcher's. Due to the size of our rig, Kevin could not accommodate us--the RV was too big for his garage. So what did he do? He recommended another business, called it himself, and got us the next available slot. Bottom line: honest people who will go the extra mile to help you. read more
